Well, if you can read it, it is tremendous. Dan Smith-Christopher explores the concept of Exile from a biblical perspective like no one else I've encountered. Unfortunately, he has that tendency among theologians to use a difficult voice. This book took me three months to read, and it's something like 200 pages! If you are willing to wade through the jargon, it's a worthwhile and challenging piece. Well, if you can read it, it is tremendous. Groundbreaking work on fruitful fields. This is how you should read the prophets and post-exilic works of OT: through the trauma of exile.
