   It's easy to see why 'Three Men in a Boat' is so well-regarded. It's funny enough to be the inspiration for P G Wodehouse. But the other stories and novels in this collection, which I think amount to all of his published work, tend to be a bit preachy. I think I'm going to have to re-read this, though.
