Dandelions On The Road is a charming romantic comedy based around a Bachelor-style TV show, except that in this case it's the Bachelorette. Twelve men competing for the attention of one woman, except that they have a thirteenth rival none of them were aware of, because the show's host made the mistake of falling for Eva, the bachelorette, before the show even started filming. What ensues is a tragi-comic romp in which Brian, our male protagonist, has to deal with his own feelings of jealousy and Dandelions On The Road is a charming romantic comedy based around a Bachelor-style TV show, except that in this case it's the Bachelorette. What ensues is a tragi-comic romp in which Brian, our male protagonist, has to deal with his own feelings of jealousy and try to act unselfishly in Eva's best interest. Brooke Williams does an amazing job with her characters; despite a necessarily large cast (with the twelve bachelors) she shows a great talent for setting up each character with just a few words. I was worried I'd be getting the bachelors mixed up but she gave every one of them such a distinct personality there was no danger of that at all. The story is well-written and comes to a nicely satisfying conclusion at the ending, though I did feel very sorry for the last couple of 'bachelors' who were rejected. Especially considering the Latinx heroine, I'd have liked to see a little more racial diversity in the bachelors themselves - not a single black bachelor looks like racism on SOMEONE's part and it would have been interesting to see Eva maybe call the studio manager out on that - and there were a few word choice issues in the book which could be cleared up by a professional proofreader. I thoroughly enjoyed the read and I'll be looking out for more of Brooke Williams' works. She's an excellent romantic comedy writer. Four stars for Dandelions On The Road; it's a lot of fun. Eva was previously a contestant on a local Bachelor-style show. She came in third place, and is about to be the Bachelorette on the newest season of the same show. She is a kind and loving person who is ready to be in a serious relationship. This a a sweet charming love story without a lot of conflict. It presents this style of television dating show in the best possible light and with minimal drama. The characters are all very genuine, and everyone's intentions seem pretty good throughout. Eva is a likable character, and I was hoping that she would find happiness in a relationship. That said, there isn't much depth to the story. Reading the synopsis will provide a pretty good idea of what to expect and there aren't many surprises. Overall, it was a nice sweet romance. I haven't read the first book in the series, but I felt that this book stood alone just fine. *An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review

My Thoughts: I met Eva in the first book in this series, Accept This Dandelion. I thought it was fun to get to know her in her own story. Though this is book 2, each book stands alone. Like the first in the series, I found this one to be quite humorous. There were situations that happened on the dates that had me laughing. And I really enjoyed Brian, the host of the show. His interactions with Eva were delightful. What an interesting, fun filled adventure. This book deserves each of the 5 stars I gave it. I was impressed by the writing style, the characters ,the plot and the romance without every detail. Sex isn't a spectator's sport as far as I am concerned. I liked not having to skim and skip the mess. This story though pretty predictable, out come wise, was full of twists and turns. Good job. Review for Chick Lit Central (www.chicklitcentral.com) Brooke Williams has done it again! As I’d mentioned in my review of Accept this Dandelion, the first book in the "Dandelion" series, I’m a closeted Bachelor and Bachelorette fan. I thrive on the drama and chaos that often happens on the show, which should come as no surprise. Finding love can often be a roller coaster. I could feel the emotional ride that Eva has found herself on, as the new Bachelorette in Dandelions on the Road. I thrive on the drama and chaos that often happens on the show, which should come as no surprise. Finding love can often be a roller coaster. I could feel the emotional ride that Eva has found herself on, as the new Bachelorette in Dandelions on the Road. There are so many men to choose from! While Eva searches for her one true love, the contestants and crew from the show travel the midwest, through Nebraska and into Iowa. I recently moved from Nebraska after living there for fourteen years, so reading about their adventures at Mahoney State Park, or spending the day at Adventureland was like journeying back home in a sense. Even if you’ve never been to the midwest, "Dandelions" is so well-written and descriptive, you feel as though you’re right there with Eva and with the various men who are vying for her attention and affection. Eva finds herself in a conundrum, as so many of us do when we’re seeking love. While she feels herself falling head over heels for a few of the contestants, the show’s host has also found his way into her heart. Only, he hasn’t proven to her that he feels the same, or that he’s even interested. He’s all work, very professional, not someone she can see herself involved with, yet there’s something about him… she can’t get him out of her head! But, she can’t get the other men out of her head, either. I loved Dandelions on the Road from start to finish, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and charming escape. While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out Accept this Dandelion, as well. In the meantime, I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in this series, After the Final Dandelion. I can't wait to see what Brooke has in store for us!

Even though this is book 2 of the series it can be read as a stand alone...but don't do that...you must read book 1 it is just as fantastic. Written as a multi pov. I so can not wait for book 3 to come out. The end of this had the preview of the next book but I refuse to read it...I know I would end up in tears again cause it doesn't include the whole thing. OH!! And by the way...when I say tears again, I mean that I bawled like a baby towards the end of this book. It was so heartwarming, gut wrenching, breathtakingly beautiful and emotional that yep, this chick cried and cried and even sobbed a lil. My daughter now thinks I'm nuts....Thanks Brooke! :) So, with that confession being said..... Would I recommend this book? Seriously??? You even have to ask?! YES!!!!! Would I read more from this author? Okay fine....YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!!! Sassy Beta Reading & Review www.facebook.com/sassybetareading

I absolutely love Dandelions on the Road! This is book 2 in the Dandelion Series. You could read this as a stand-alone, but why would you want to miss out on Accept this Dandelion? I feel in love with Brian immediately and felt his feelings for Eva were genuine from the start, and his internal commentary on the contestants was great. My heart hurt for him as he watched Eva grow close with some of the bachelors, especially Cane. Oh, Cane… he sounded absolutely perfect! Wow, how is a girl supposed to choose…swoon. I love this story, I love this series, and I really loved that it is based in my hometown. I connected with the locations; Mahoney State Park, Adventureland, Omaha. I laughed at the play on station call letters for the TV and radio stations lol. I loved it when Renee showed up late when meeting Eva for coffee and her excuse was “accident on Dodge again”. Isn’t that the truth! This is a fun series that plays on the ABC hit show ‘The Bachelor’. If you watch the show you will love this series. Hell, even if you don’t watch it, you will still love this fun, sometimes quirky, romance filled series. I highly recommend this series and I am looking forward to book 3, After the Final Dandelion.

Let me just say that by this being book 2 in a series and not having read book 1 I had no problems reading this as a stand alone story. Eva was an interesting character, she had a big heart and really did not see herself as others saw her. Brian was one of those people who was not comfortable around beautiful women. He was attracted to Eva but was tongue tied when he was around her. Having to host and watch the women he wanted dated other men was proving to be a problem. This was a well written and well thought out storyline. The supporting characters were colorful, likeable and easy to imagine. The main characters were thrown together on a daily bases and really had a side show of their own as they learned abut each other and fell in love. Each setting was unique and allowed us to see the best and worst of all the characters. It was fast paced, easy to read, fun and highly entertaining. After reading this story , I will definitely be going back to read book 1 and I look forward to seeing what happens in book 3.

"Dandelions On The Road" by Brooke Williams, is a sweet, romantic comedy following Eva and Brian while they are drawn together. There are some pre-setup characters from previous books, but they weren't difficult to follow in this new story. Eva is the second runner-up from the previous book "Accept this Dandelion" and she has been chosen to be the star bachelorette in her own show. Brian is chosen as host of the show and has always had a crush on Eva. In order to share my one frustration with the book I have a spoiler alert!! It seemed to me that Brian was more in to and dedicated to Eva then she was of him. Yes, she was on a show where she had to date 12 other guys, but she didn't really seem any more drawn to Brian then she did to the other bachelors until the very end. I would have liked her to be more drawn to Brian or at least appeared to be torn in dating and kissing on all these other men. I give this book 4 fangs. ***Reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock***

A runner-up on a Bachelor-type reality television show gets a second chance to find love. I've become a Brooke Williams fan over the past two years. The different locations offer lots of opportunities for complications and conflict. It was also fun to catch up with Kate Covington (from WRONG PLACE, RIGHT TIME) and Renee Lockheart, the heroines of the first book in the Dandelion series. I will say that Eva Merida doesn't have quite the same sparkle and charm as these two. Part of the problem might be that she and the hero (Brian Schaffer) don't spend all that much time together. He's the host and she's the contestant, and for most of the book he's way more into her than she's into him. So when she falls for him, it isn't as believable as it might have been. Still, even with the coolness of the heroine, this book has many funny moments and provided an satisfying afternoon of reading entertainment.

I have to say one of my favorite things about the book are the locations that are picked for the "dates." Comedy clubs, hiking, amusement parks, working on a ranch...all places that I love and things that I enjoy doing. I especially liked their time with Kate on her ranch. Brought back a lot of memories for me and I liked that they were made to do work while they were there. Overall, cute story with a great HEA.

What is fate isn't for her to choose any of the contestants?? I highly recommend this book & book #1! It's a light-weight & fun read! Great job!

This book is the next in the Dandelion series and this time we are taken into a show where the bachelorette is the one making the decisions and the men are the contestants vying for her love. We met Eva in the first book of the series and she seemed to be very real. When she didn't end up the final choice, they decide to give her a show and it is terrific! One of my favorite parts is we get to see into the life that Renee and Ben are living since their time on the show. I think I enjoyed this sequel to Accept this Dandelion even more than the first book - and I enjoyed the first one a LOT. Brooke Williams kept me reading as Eva and Brian worked their way through a local version of The Bachelorette. There was a huge cast of characters, but once several bachelors were eliminated I liked the way each character displayed his true colors. The ending was awesome and I cheered for the winner. Can't wait to read the third and final book in the series! I think I enjoyed this sequel to Accept this Dandelion even more than the first book - and I enjoyed the first one a LOT. Eva was a contestant on the "Bachelor" inspired local tv show Accept this Dandelion. She didn't win, but now she will be the bachelorette. Brian is a new anchor who is chosen to host DOR. He is also half in love with Eva before the show even starts. Can he watch the woman he loves fall for someone else, can she pick a contestant when her heart is with the host? A sweet story about love and taking chances. Eva was a contestant on the "Bachelor" inspired local tv show Accept this Dandelion. She didn't win, but now she will be the bachelorette. Good Read Reality TV meets book. The story of Eva and Brian. Eva is the newest contestant on a Bachelorette show while Brian is the host. Although, she’s supposed to be dating the contestants to find a husband; what happens if she falls in love with the host. This was a great romance that flowed easily and kept you engaged.
