What can I say? This author keeps doing it for me with her Mafia series of the Sinatra & Gabrini families. I believe that Mick and Sal are very similar in character and personality. Mick and Sal's stories are always intense and to the point. Lots of twists and turns happen in the book the families meet and Mick and Sal find that they have a lot in common with each other. Fantastic read I loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend this book if you like Mafia stories. What can I say? The absolute belief of knowing a brilliant storyline will always materialize from author Mallory Monroe and that is her ability to set sh*t on fire!!!!!!! At first one I saw that title and then saw my beloved Sal's name up in there, my first reaction was "Oh Hell NO!!!!!!!!" I was ready to set it off against Mick Sinatra because my loyalty lies with the Gabrinis LOL!! As you can tell I am way invested in this series. When the story starts it begins with a prologue with Mick sitting in a warehouse with his right hand man and a traitor. A man he thought he knew because they ran together from back in the days and will still cool till this day. But when Mick discovers he is not a traitor but a mole well he has to be dealt with but before the man dies he claims the hits against his organization are coming from none other than Sal's son (see "Sal Gabrini 6: His House of Cards (The Gabrini Men series) for his discovering he has a son." And he fingered Sal also, now if you have been reading the Gabrini series, you will realize that Sal and Tommy's mother was the sister of Mick and Charles Sinatra whom Sal killed because she was trying to kill his wife Gemma. So Mick has a real contention against Sal about that but if you know Sal then you already know he doesn't give a f*ck LOLL!! The thing about this revelation is Mick knows that Sal is no two bit hustler. He knows Sal is just as gangster as he is and an international business man and partner with his older brother Tommy Gabrini. Mick also knows that Reno, Sal and Tommy are 3 the hard way if you try and come for one then the other 2 are coming. So he knows he has to tread this thing correctly. On Mick's home front he is faced with a more personal betrayal and it comes from his oldest son Adrian, whom can't get it together. He is a bitter, mean and angry young man. There is no amount of talking to him in the world because his heart is completely hardened. But when Adrian does the unthinkable and then tries to strike at Mick, Mick now finally understands that there will be no coming back for his son. Mick and his other three children have been working on rebuilding and creating a relationship but Adrian wants no parts of it. Mick also has his wife Rosalind that he worries about, Mick is alpha to the core and Rosalind is no wilting flower but her propensity to always reach out and help her friend Betsy has caused herself to be in a world of trouble had it not been for Mick's security finding out where she was he may have found Rosalind in a most terrible situation. Well after Mick to care of it, he made the move to get rid of her friend Betsy whom maybe at one time she was a true friend to Rosalind but she has morphed into a user and a soul sucker and Mick had enough of her. This story as you can see I am only scratching the surface. "Mick Sinatra 3" was explosive, intense, drama filled and deadly. You get to see Big Daddy Charles come to help his little brother in a big way. Mick got to see the 3 amigos Reno, Tommy and Sal in action and come to his aid but the most important thing is now Mick has his nephews and his cousin that he knows he can totally rely on. Mick got to experience how his big brother is still looking out for him. And the beautiful part of the story was forgiveness, Mick finally understood why Sal did what he did because Mick knew he would have done the exact same thing if anyone tried to hurt his family. We got to also see the cousins coming together under one roof which was great and can't wait to see if author Mallory Monroe will write interactions with them. Next up is Reno's story "Reno Gabrini: A Family Affair" which I can't wait to read Woot! Woot! Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!

This is my second or third time reading this book. The review (see below)I wrote after the first reading still stands. This book met every expectation that I had while waiting on this 3rd Mick book. Nothing in this book disappointed me, especially Sal and Mick meeting. You'll have to buy it if you want to know what happened. I cannot believe this is written by the same author who totally messed up by splitting Tommy and Grace up. One person's opinion. I've bought every book - President 's series, Mob Boss series, the Gabrinis and the Sinatras so I think my opinion matters. I do think this is one of the best if not the best. Waiting with bated breath for all others except any starring Tommy. Of course, if the books continue to be so well written and exciting, I may have rethink my position on that. I would hate to miss out on one of Ms. Malone's exciting books, just don't think I'm ready for Tommy without Grace. However, if one is written, I'll read the reviews and reconsider. Ms. Malone please keep up the excellent work. I want to read all future books and you can make me change my mind if you keep writing like this. Prove that you can and I'll remain one if your most avid readers who purchases all your books without depending on reviews.

The Sinatras and The Gabrinis- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB I know what to expect from a Mallory Monroe novel; and yet I manage to be surprised. Sinatra & Gabrini Where to begin? I really enjoyed this book, Mick was able to finally be happy. Reno came with the humor as usual right along with Sal. Roz leach of a friend needed her butt handed to her. Adrian just showed and proved what can happen when you don't have a relationship with your child. Sinatra & Gabrini Where to begin? I love this series! Mallory Monroe has done it again! I love that the Gabrinis and the Sinatras are family and have those wonderful get togethers. It was comical as always when it comes to Reno! So funny about the seafood and his refusal to eat the crabs! On another note, it was sad at the end about Adrian (Mick's oldest son) and not to give anything away in case anyone has not read the Mick Sinatra series yet. Also, the surprise ending with the birth of the twins, too. Onward to the next book! I love this series! Mallory Monroe has done it again! Great read, another page turner that kept me wanting to read more and faster. Mick was all over the place with his but I thought he would have a bit more control then he did. I was hoping to get a glimpse of the rest of the gang as well, just to see how they interact. Can't wait for the next one and find out just what's going down in Jericho. I have to say that this was a good book because I have saw growth and everybody including the kids because you saw how each of them was trying in their own way but they still have growing to do. I just hope that Gloria change how they she picks her date because to me she is trying to pick the guys to replace that her father wasn't there in her life. I just couldn't believe besty that the only one that didn't change at all because to me she only calls roz when she is in trouble and. I am glad that mick had step in and basically said that enough is enough because besty only used roz and she love to play on the past when they was struggling together but besty needs to understand that people grow in life. And I just love that mick sees stuff that roz doesn't see. And I am surprised that reno came down to visit mick but I understood why he had to come down because in reno eyes it felt that the tension was getting out of hand and I am glad that mick and sal had made up because now they can all call on each other when they need each other. Most of all I am sad that Adrian had to go but than again he had no choice because how you go cross your own father and except nothing and return. Most all good book.

FINALLY!!! Monroe gets back to basics with why we love these Sinatras and Gabrinis: Hardcore, gangster shit! This was non-stop action with hella plot twists and oh hell nahs... I'm still not a Mick Sinatra fan, but this one made me despise him a lil less. He's a horrible father and an even worse man, but when you come from shit, things can only go one of two ways, and he took the road low road... Honestly, this would've been a five-star read for me, but the way he talked to his wife Roz was downright abusive at times, talmbout he gone beat her ass if she don't do what he says. Yeah, yeah, that's just his way of showing how much he lives her and is fearful of her safety, but nah player, you ain't gotta threaten her with physical harm... And another thing that bothered me is Mick never actually tells Roz he loves her. It's only acknowledged through reflective thoughts, and I'm like whoa, this dude is a real bastard. He has a looong way to go. The gangster aspect is what really made this story, cause I still ain't feeling Mick The Tick the man.

Loved it! I love that the relationship between Mick and Roz just gets stronger and stronger. She is the "anti-Grace"!!! It was also gratifying that Mick, with Roz's encouragement, is working hard to establish relationships with his children and to overcome the guilt that he feels from neglecting them (emotionally) for so many years. Good follow up with hiccups I was excited to see part three. Mick Sinatra is definitely one of my book boyfriends. But something about this book was a bit off. There story read a bit choppy, the plot was not fully-cohesive, the characters seemed flat, and to my surprise, there were blaring typos that I could even catch. Love the Sinatra family. Mick had to realize he ruined his children's concept of relationships by abandoning them emotionally and physically. He thought that by giving them money and things that he was still apart of their lives. He learned the hard way that he was wrong. He tried to fix what he had broken, but for some it was to late. One brother who was a nurturing to his children, the other who left them. Then throw in some Gabrini's and watch out. Love the Sinatra family. This is IT!! Everything you want in a good book is right here! It's dirty. It's brutal. It's hot. It's shocking. It's fantastic. It's brilliant.
