Definitely useful. In addition to the normal offerings, there were a few included here that I hadn't heard of before. Added a few to my own to read list and added to my mental list of recommendations for patrons. Definitely useful. This is the best book in a series of reference guides by William Patrick Martin. His previous two offerings were “A Lifetime of Fiction” and “The Mother of All Booklists.” “Wonderfully Wordless” is even better because it contains more of Martin’s insights and opinions rather than just straightforward descriptions. Most important, “Wonderfully Wordless” breaks new ground in the unusual world of text-free picture books and graphic novels. It is the only road map to this unexplored territory. This is a great collection of highly recommended and well-classified book about graphic novels and picture books by themes and topics. I like to use wordless books with younger children and with English language learners. We always interpret pictures based on our own experiences, knowledge, thoughts, and ideas. Wordless books could have great potential for language development and concept enhancement.

I have issues when someone clearly has their favorite authors and lists pretty much the entire print run of that author.
