A nice book This book I downloaded as Amazon's Kindle choice for April. It was a heartwarming story based on a true story. The book seemed to move at a fast pace and I read it in one day. Yes it was a clean book so I would recommend it for young adults. I wish that it continued to include the wedding and setting up Peter's business. This was a really great 2nd book that I read by Kate Benzin. This book really spoke about following your instincts, your heart and fate. Peter is a man that promised his mother that one day, he would take her to her home country of Indonesia. Peter did get to Indonesia and he saw this woman with dark hair and a white streak and he fell in love instantly. Peter came back home to the U.S. and couldn't shake the feeling that he had for this woman, whom he only saw once. With some smart planning, Peter was able to reach this woman via letters and then Peter went back to Indonesia to profess his love to the woman, Rina. I do not want to give away any spoilers...it is a great love story! once again, love the descriptions of Indonesia!

I needed a "book based on a true story" for my reading challenge, and I am a runner so this seemed perfect. Yeah...it's not about running. Sigh. I was not really a fan of this book. I like the premise of the book, but the execution left a lot to be desired in my mind. Books should be show, with a little bit of tell, and this was all tell, no show. I couldn't really get into this because of it. That's good right there. The author continued to describe exactly what the guide said. I don't need to know that. Sorry, it's just not my cup of tea.
