Seeing Betty’s Archie jacket she creates a set of abstract design shirts of his face and they become a hit. Cheer Up: As it turns out football isn’t the only rugged sport. Ask the Riverdale cheerleaders Enjoying the 80s: Inspired by old yearbooks the gang throws an 80s inspired theme party. The Cruelest Cut: When Veronica’s beautician moves since she can’t fly to her she finds a way to bring her to where she is. My Secret Wish: Betty finds out that what glitters isn’t always gold when she gets her wish to experience the lifestyle of the rich and famous while puppy sitting Veronica’s pet while she goes out of town. Pick Kick: Lipstick colors never sounded so appetizing! Campaign in the Neck: Veronica picks Archie as her campaign manager, but she gets a big surprise when hes chosen to run against her as the other nominee (thanks to Jug and Betty) (Part2): Veronica tries to outdo Archie’s plain float with a big one with an elephant and a donkey. Of course, things go haywire when Archie’s float runs into Veronica’s. The judging committee instead elects and chooses Ethel, Ode to the Phone: Is the phone really the greatest invention of all times, yes when you finally get the call from the boy of your dreams asking for a date. Even if you have to wait all day for it. Outstanding Job: Archie tries to impress Hiram by fixing a leak, but he gets a little in over his head. So Hiram finds a way for Archie to be useful Impressionable Type: Archie is invited to an important dinner date where his intention is to dress to impress but after rescuing a squirrel from a mischievous kid all he gets is the Jazz treatment (AAAAAAH). His second girl in line won’t play seconds this day. Seems like the only company he’ll be keeping tonight is with the squirrel. Little Betty and Veronica On with the Dance: Its curtains for the girl’s dance performance as Reggie brings down the curtains and causes the girls to fall flat on their faces. They jump on Reggie and the judges think it’s part of the performance and that they’re doing a pyramid. Betty’s dad tries to give her flowers but her Mom says not now. The 1 flower Archie gives her tops all the ones in her Dad’s bouquet A Friend to the End: Hiram kicks Archie out after getting on his nerves playing his piano. He then while playing racketball out back smashes a ball throw Hiram’s window causing him to spill coffee all over some important contracts. Little Betty (Don’t Mention Detention: Archie gets detention for imitating a teacher so Betty does everything she can think of to get a detention. Archie gets out of detention and asks her to Pops. Betty gets detention for running in the halls. Little Veronica: The School Scoop: Hiram offers to place ads to get the printing press going. But he gets a up close and personal look when Archie accidentally presses the button to make the machine activate Little Betty and Veronica: Cheers for the Team: Realizing that Veronica feels neglected Hiram and Hermoine pay closer attention to Veronica’s cheerleading in an over the top way. Match Play: Veronica finds out computer dating isn’t all what it’s cracked up to be when she’s paired with several 0’s and Betty is paired up with Archie. Just A Quiet Place to Call Home: Betty’s cousin asks her to babysit her apartment and she convinces Veronica to come with. But Betty finds out living alone isn’t all she thought it would be. Camera Angle: Archie hasn’t been playing his best. Veronica finds out that after filming him this attention is not exactly on the game. Voice Your Choice: Archie and his band get asked to just a pagent.. (for senior citizens). Another one for males. And another for girls. But everyone has their personal favorite and Archie is “urged strongly” to vote in several directions Running Gag: Betty gets the run of her life when she rescues a neighbors cat and gets chased by a dog. High Noon: Archie finally keeps his word to Veronica about arriving on time and he only has to arrive 4 hours earlier due to a power outage. Book Em: Because of a handsome face Veronica joins Betty’s book club, but her shortcut of renting the movie -fails when she rents the wrong movie. Luck Be A Lady: “Lucky” may not be the best name for Betty’s new puppy. Especially when it turns out to be a girl so she changes Lucky Guy to Miss Fortune. Slight of Mind: Veronica has new tricks up her sleeve. With her magic jacket, she can make objects appear. You just never know what she’ll retrieve out of one of those pockets Doll Face: Veronica saves the day when she buys Betty’s favorite Bebe doll after she sells her collection and gives it back to her. Gender Bender: The tables have turned. Betty’s attire once got her commented to be a guy but when Veronica tries to turn her looks more feminine, she’s the one mistaken for the guy when she goes out to get more towels in Betty’s old clothes Sporting Chance: Veronica -in a effort to be closer to Archie-gets on the girl’s basketball team and gets Betty off the team -and on the newspaper-but things still don’t go in her favor because the first story she does for the paper is doing a story on girls sports and try to get Archie on the paper too Dollars and Sense: Veronica’s *dollar store* is one where hundreds are spent. Rating: 5 My favorites in this Double Digest were Enjoying the 80’s (I think an 80’s theme party sounds fun) Maybe Double Face (I thought it was sweet what Veronica did for Betty and it reminded me of an old Punky Brewster episode. It was the one were Margo’s family went broke and she had to sell her favorite doll but Punky and Cherie bought the doll back). The Little Archie ones dragged and 2 of the Betty one’s where the EXACT same thing but with different situations.
