Amazon US * Amazon UK I've been waiting for this book since the moment I was introduced to Zane and his crazy marshmallow addiction in Capture. I could tell from that first moment that he was going to be a super intriguing character, and I was not wrong. I loved him for all his imperfections and vulnerabilities, and actually thought they made him very realistic. Even though I was really excited for the story, there was a bit of nervousness on my part because of Zane's anxiety. We only learned a little about it in the last book but I could tell that it was going to be a bigger part of this story. It's always a hit or miss for me when characters have any form of anxiety or illness because sometimes it's just not handled well as part of the story and that can frustrate me. I didn't have anything to worry about however, because the author wrote about his fear really well, and I thought it was done the right way. Zane, superstar musician that all the girls swear they're in love with. And also secret anxiety sufferer and virgin. I won't tell you more than that about him because he's the type of character that you need to learn his personality on your own. And trust me when I say that he won't disappoint you. If you've read Capture then I'm sure you remember him, but there is way more to learn about the true Zane, and you definitely need to do that right away. The whole Hero who is a virgin thing seems to be a growing trend, and while I'm not fully on board with that idea, RVD took some of my apprehension about it away. I wasn't even nervous about Zane being a virgin because of meeting him in the last book, and just from those encounters I knew there was no way he would be anything less than sexy as hell. And I was right! This boy is panty-dropping worthy. Fallon was really the perfect girl for Zane. And I'm sure that's something you read in reviews for every romance book out there. But Zane and Fallon weren't just the typical "oh it's true love" couple. They were so real I felt like I was sitting down listening to some grandmother tell me how she fell in love with her husband of 50+ years and how all the hard times are worth it once you found the love of your life. Theirs was the kind of love that may be a work of fiction, but it makes you believe in true love. I really wish I could have given this book five stars, and Zane and Fallon together were definitely worth more than five stars, but the ending of the book lowered my rating some. Not the whole ending, because there was actually something that made me fall for Zane even harder at the end. But when the book was over and I reflected back on what I had read, I realized that Zane's anxiety issue kind of just dissipated by the time the story finished. It made me feel meh because anxiety doesn't just go away so it kind of confused me it wasn't brought up like it was earlier in the book. Overall, the romance was light and fun, even in the rough times, and something I don't think any fellow romance lover should miss out on.

4.5 marshmallo-shaped stars! This was my first Rachel Van Dyken book and I am impressed by her ability to do humor so well. Loved this book. The plot was interesting because it touches on mental health and societal issues in a tasteful manner and with a tone that makes it relatable to the readers. There was one twist to the plot that I wasn't expecting and I felt nervous about where it was going. No worries though, it all works out how it's meant to in the end. Needless to say, I really enjoyed this read and whole-heartedly recommend it, especially if you're looking for something to make you laugh out loud. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing. Brief separation, no others while apart. One of them is a virgin. No rape or abuse.

First, and foremost, I want to hold and cover the hand of the model on this cover. That's it. Thank you. But seriously, come on, hotness❤️ I knew I would like Zane Andrews, but just didn't know how much. I fell in love with another man (a fictional man that is😉) I enjoyed this book. It was cute, sexy, fun, and sad. I loved Fallon & Zane together and I sure hope we get more of them. I feel these last couple books have abrupt endings. I need more pretty please!!!!!! 4,5 marshmallow stars! Man, I love this author and what she does with her stories. They always make me feel so much and this book was no different! I loved every page, from start to finish. I mean just read the blurb and you'll definitely want to read the story. A rockstar who's a virgin? Like, duh! That's like heaven to my ears. I love that type of plot and aside from that, Zane is just an unbelievable character that you can't help but to fall in love with. He's super funny but he also has some 4,5 marshmallow stars! He's super funny but he also has some huge issues and a strong obsession with marshmallows. The reason behind that is so sad and at the same time, dare I say, cute? I don't know, just read the book! “Are you sure you don’t do drugs?” Hands shaking, he managed to get one of them free and reach into his pocket long enough to pull out two smaller marshmallows, popping them in his mouth. I shook my head. “Let me guess, travel size?” He smirked. “You’re catching on.” “A terrifying thought.” “Or the best one you’ve ever had?” “Nope.” “Worth a shot.” Anyway, as far as the plot goes, I enjoyed it. There was one twist that I saw coming miles away so I wasn't that surprised when it all blowed over but the other twist, wow, yeah that was just mean and super emotional. How could it not be, the author includes the whole process and in that situation you really can see how loved Zane is and that his family, maybe not by blood but family still, really do care for him a lot. Also, Fallon, she's so strong and really just an amazing person. She can be a bit nerdy but in a cute way. Also, what she has to go through is so hard for her but she's tough and just what Zane needs. The ending is maybe not what I wanted to see, because the story will continue in Will's book but I wished we'd get to see an epilogue a bit further in the future. They have a strong bond but with the media and all that, I would've loved to see how that affects them. The next book can't come soon enough and from what we could gather at the end of this story, there is some mayor drama ahead (but not between Zane and Fallon). Thankfully I haven't read the first book in this series, so I have a way to get my fix there, lol. ;) All I can say is get this book!!! It's really a wonderful story.

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Rachel Van Dyken and so it’s given that I will devour her surprise release of Keep. So is Keep a keeper? Well the answer to that is simple… duh! “Sure, I wanted more skin, more kissing, more exploring, but in a weird twist of fate, I just wanted whatever she’d offer, and even if it was the smallest kiss, I wanted to make it the best kiss of her existence. ” If you aren’t familiar with an RVD book, ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Rachel Van Dyken and so it’s given that I will devour her surprise release of Keep. Well the answer to that is simple… duh! “Sure, I wanted more skin, more kissing, more exploring, but in a weird twist of fate, I just wanted whatever she’d offer, and even if it was the smallest kiss, I wanted to make it the best kiss of her existence. ” If you aren’t familiar with an RVD book, then you are truly missing out on falling in love with stories that are full of passion, raw emotions and heart. In this second installment to the Seaside Pictures Series, RVD introduces readers to Zane Andrews, who is considered a rock god that is adored by thousands of fans. Sex, fame, money and rock’n’roll is what people think Zane’s life consist of. He’s a sinner and saint. But what his fans don’t know is the real Zane Andrews. Who is the real Zane Andrews? Well for one, he is a marshmallow fiend. The man is addicted to this sticky and fluffy deliciousness. He is also a very private person and doesn’t have many friends. Also, Zane carries the burdens of his past and suffers from anxiety attacks. And one last thing, he is a virgin. Yes, that’s right Zane Andrews, rock superstar is a virgin. When Zane runs into Fallon, he find himself being drawn to her. He wants to get to know of the girl who wears glasses that are too big for her face and doesn’t seem to care that he is Zane “Saint” Andrews. He loves the fact that Fallon doesn’t see Zane the superstar but instead as the annoying rock star that loves to tease her and call her four eyes. Soon Zane finds himself developing a friendship with Fallon and slowly begins to let her in. He informs Fallon of his sad childhood from bouncing in the foster system after his grandmother past away and why he loves marshmallows. As their relationship progresses, Zane finally loses his virginity to the one woman that makes feel home. Fallon doesn’t see Zane the celebrity but she truly sees Zane Andrews. She sees the man who has an unhealthy obsession with marshmallows. But most importantly, she sees a man who has beautiful soul that just needed to be reassured that he is indeed loved. Fallon makes it known to Zane that she will never abandon him ever. “Wh-what?” Her eyes pleaded. “What did you say?”“I. Love. You.” I tugged her against my body and kissed her with every pent-up memory, every emotion, pouring into her not just my heart and soul, but the history of us, of what we shared, I gave her everything in that kiss. My apology. My life. My world. ” Fallon and Zane are two peas in a pod. They just fit. Everything about their relationships works. It’s sweet, beautiful, and absolutely sticky with so much love, respect, honesty, and compassion. And so when their relationship hits a hurdle, will Zane be able to keep Fallon and make her his forever girl? Keep is one of those stories that sucks you in right from the opening pages. Zane and Fallon are two characters that immediately stole my heart. I love that RVD didn’t rush the relationship of Zane and Fallon, but allowed readers to see that their friendship has depth and meaning. Their kisses meant something. And most importantly, Zane giving up his virginity was also an act of baring his soul, his past and his future with Fallon. It was an act that readers could honestly feel that this thing that Zane and Fallon have is more. It’s more than friendship. It’s more than love. It’s home. “Remember, I was just lost for a minute,” he whispered, eyes locked on mine. “And then you found your way home.”“I never lost faith I would, even if you did.” So if you are looking for a story where friendship, banter, drama, and love are beautifully woven into the storyline then I suggest you read Keep. And if you need another reason to read this book, then I will give you 4 Marshmallow reasons. First, this book is sweet. Second, Zane and Fallon proves that love bounces back. No matter how you hard you squeeze it, a fluffy marshmallow bounces back. And whatever problems that Zane and Fallon faced, they just bounce back. Third, they make people smile. Why wouldn’t you smile when a rocker finds his inspiration in you. And lastly, marshmallows are great when they are hot. Like any s’mores, it’s those fiery bursts of romance and attraction that keeps Zane and Fallon’s love sticky as molasses or in this case sticky as marshmallows. I loved this book! So much. It’s fun, emotional, sweet and romantic. Zane and Fallon are incredible characters, just like the secondary characters. I already loved Zane in Capture and I loved him more now. Zane is famous, talented, kind and a little lost. I loved getting to know him better and there were still some (shocking) things to discover about him. Fallon is a sweet, genuine, caring, smart and feisty woman. She’s perfect for Zane. She understands him and pushes him when he needs it. Zane I loved this book! So much. It’s fun, emotional, sweet and romantic. Rock God: Zane "Saint" Andrews is sex on a stick in looks and reputation. But in real life? He's a virgin. It's not often you get a virgin adult hero in romance novels and I found the role-reversal to be a lot of fun to read. There's much more going on in this book than just the sexual component and the combination of elements kept me engaged in an age group and genre that I've given up on. There's drama but not the typical dysfunctional relationship drama I usually see portrayed in new-adult. Keep worked for me and I would definitely consider lifting my "no new-adult" rule when it comes to Rachel Van Dyken. Check it out! My favorite quote: "Nobody should ever feel like they have to give pieces of themselves in order to gain love, security, acceptance... Note: Keep is the second installment in Rachel Van Dyken's Seaside Pictures series. I read it as a standalone and enjoyed it as such. #1: Capture #2: Keep #3: Steal

2.5 Stars. The whole thing just felt like a book draft. For eg; The amount of !!!!!!!!!!!! marks. The inconsistenties, flitting from one thing to the next without introducing a scene. The severe lack of description, apart from muscles & glasses that is. The banter that fell short because it was quick but not sharp. The characters i didn't have a problem with, they were nice enough. The H's traumatic past didn't work for me with lack of emotion & the OTT-ness of it. The twist had me rolling my eyes 2.5 Stars. I absolutely LOVED Zane and his many layers, and getting to peel away at those layers to learn more about who he is as a person will really surprise readers and make you heart him even more. Fallon..the nerdy girl...I completely loved her! Not only for her friendship towards Zane but her ability to see him as something more than a rock star, for understanding his quirks and going along with them, for being supportive of his music...for just being an awesome person, a positive influence in his life. <3 This book definitely had its share of beautiful moments, OMG the steamy moments, and then some gut wrenching moments that brought tears to my eyes. Everything about this book was beautiful from the true friendship between all the characters to the heat that sparkled between Zane and Fallon whenever they touched. Rachel Van Dyken that was really a great piece of art and I can't wait to read about Will and Angelica.

This was a really good read. I would've given it 5 stars, but I do have a few issues with it that I'm going to touch on. She tells hero that she has had sexual experiences with two others, one being a drummer from high school band camp and the other a high school linebacker (who was a good friend of hers). Neither are mentioned as the now gay lab partner. This confuses me. It doesn't seem like she was lying to the hero, but in the beginning and thinking to herself she only had one sexual experience. So, they're are some contradictions here that need to be cleared up. Also, I hate it when the hero mentions or thinks that he has been no saint but is supposedly still a virgin. This brings up a whole host of questions and can mean so many differing things. However, I think the hero was completely a virgin with the exception of kissing and possibly making out with others based on the context of what I read. I feel that an important part of this story was left out that part being when the heroine's parents would've heard the gossip that the hero lost his virginity to their daughter and their reaction to that. I loved Zane. He was perfection. I loved reading about him but his heroine on the other hand, I just couldn’t stand her. Don’t get me wrong I have definitely read worse personality types. But she was just annoying in the sense that you known she couldn’t be a real person. For the hero it seemed like she wrote him to be who she wanted him to be. But for the heroine there were these weirdly contradictory things that completely confounded me until it finally occurred to me that she probably wasn’t I loved Zane. He was perfection. I like a virgin hero, it’s definitely a nice change from the typical. But something I’ve noticed is that a lot of times in those books the female characters makes no sense. They always seem impossibly fake. Like the author is trying to please too many different types of fans. That’s what came across here. It may just be me reaching but the times I always seem to get that feeling are in cases where the authors appear to get think they need to apologize for having a virgin hero, like there is something wrong with it. The authors that I read that are proud to have a virgin hero always seem to have great, sincere hero’s AND heroines. I ended up dnf ing because I just couldn’t stand the heroine. Such a shame! If Zane had had a real heroine, I would have loved this.

    Boundless Book Reviews

Keep, is one of those stories that really grabs you. It really just held my heart. I felt their love, their heartbreak, and their love again. Zane is so hilarious and so full of life. Even at the times he feels that he has no idea whats going on with his life. Having writers block and afraid of the future. I loved how Fallon and Zane meet and their banter with each other, it’s just.. I fell in love with these characters. In the very first book you got little pieces of Zane. But now you get every Keep, is one of those stories that really grabs you. It really just held my heart. I felt their love, their heartbreak, and their love again. I was thinking just the other day, that a book really hadn’t made me tear up in awhile. I yearned for it in a way, only a reader can understand. I wanted to be engulfed in this epic romance. I wanted to feel what the characters felt. And as usual, when I think of something, it happens in a few days. This was a surprise release and I’m glad I stopped what I was doing to read it. Rachel, really surprises me every time. The way she’s able to write, like these characters are real. I felt the ache in my chest and yes I did cry. I’m not ashamed. I loved Keep, it kept me and wouldn’t let me go till the very end. I can’t give this book any more than Five Boundless Stars. This was so cute! I adored this book! Zane has quirks that will unnerve most people. He has an obsession with marshmallows, and he likes to roam around naked. It was funny in the first book. I never expected it to have a deeper meaning. It was extremely heartbreaking to know the reasons he developed those weird habits. After that, their lives couldn’t be more entwined. Zane needs a muse. He needs songs for his new album, and he needs inspiration. Fallon just happens to be the lucky girl who Zane needs. They relationship starts of rocky, but as time goes by, they start to see that they need each other. This author delivers yet again another story that makes my stomach hurt with so much laughter, and my heart so full with love.

I honestly loved this book so much! I thought the characters were so sweet, and I loved how they didn't let one push the other away. They stayed together and I really loved that. My only complaint it the epilogue. I detest epilogues that are in a POV other than either of the MC's. I truly hate those. It like, you turn the page expecting this great, or mediocre even, epilogue, and you don't get it. Instead you get what the next book is going to be about. That is not an epilogue IMO. 2.5 Stars Ack..... If I wasn't trying to reach 50 books by the end of this month I'd DNF this series. These stories have such great potential but they are so superficial, nothing grounds these storylines and characters. It's just plain frustrating. 2.5 Stars Ack..... I feel like I have to start this review with an explanation... ;) so here's the story of how I found this book... :) it was totally randomly recommended to me by one of my #BookBesties :) thank you again Karen for this, you really throw my way only the bestest of books :) she knew how much I loved Mal from the Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott and his unpredictible and hilarious personality, so when she said that Zane, the main hero in this story, could be his brother, I was sold... :) that was a I feel like I have to start this review with an explanation... ;) so here's the story of how I found this book... :) that was all I needed to hear to get hooked on the idea of reading this book... and even though my reading plan was totally different, I of course had to go immediately on Amazon and buy the e-book :) I started it that very same day... and finished it the day after ;) yes, it was that good... :) another important piece of information... don't be discouraged by the fact that it's a sequel in a sort of a spin-off series of another series, because this was my very first book written by this author, so I can guarantee, that it works perfectly fine as a standalone as well :) so go and get it right now... it's gonna be worth it :) ok, so now that we have this basic informations out of the way, let me tell you a bit more about our main couple... *sighs dreamily* Zane and Fallon *sighs dreamily once again* ;) oh how I adored both of them :) of course Zane was my fave, but Fallon wasn't far behind.. :) that is also the reason why I'm gona start with her... :) she is this young and totally adorable girl, that I can relate to way too much... :) she meets Zane for the first time when she falls right before him, loosing her glasses at the same time... I mean... I'm clumsy, stumbling around and falling down more often that I would like to admit... where's my Zane?!?!? :) something to think about, universe... ok, moving on :) I think what I loved most about Fallon, is that she wasn't this mousy and scared character, which would have been easy when confronted by Zane and his inappropriate awesomeness... :) but no, she was so smart and witty with a side of sassy and I adored her for that... :) because when it comes to Zane... *sighs dreamily some more* I loved him from the start... he was hilarious and hot and adorable in the most unexpected and inapropriate way... ;) but he also had several issues to deal with... I'm not gonna get into details about them, because we learn them along the way throughout the whole book, but let's just say that besides making me laugh out loud, there were a few scenes in this book that made me cry... they were so sad and emotional and I just wanted to hug him... because of all he experienced, seeing his happy ending with Fallon was that much better :) Theirs is a relationship I adore most in books... as in they start with a friendship :) yes, a weird one, filled with mutual attraction, but friendship nonetheless :) after she falls at his feet... like I mentioned before ;) and they have a cute conversation after which she gives him a false number ;) they meet again, with a little help of Fallon's best friend, Mags ;) he needs help because of the writer's block he's dealing with, alongside many more issues that I won't get into right now... and once she catches his attention, he kind of swoops into her life, grabs her and doesn't want to let go... ;) I'm not gonna say anything else about how their relationship changes, but I will say this: the interactions and conversations between them are hilarious :) it was impossible for me to pick out just a few of them to quote for you guys, and show as proof... ok, if we're being totally honest I could not take a break from reading to write them down or highlight them in any way... that's how good this book was :) besides our fantastic main couple we have a bunch of secondary characters that already got their stories, and one or two that will get a future book... let's just say that epilogue very clearly shows us who will be the next pair ;) but like I said before, even if you haven't read the previous books, you can totally enjoy this story :) those other people appear in a scene here or there, but you don't need to know every little detail of their books to enjoy those scenes :) It was a very easily given 5 stars for me... I mean, I fell in love with the main characters from the first chapter, and it only got better from there... :) I have no complaints ;) like none whatsoever... ;) this story was written in 2 POVs, which means we got chapters from Zane's point of view, as well as Fallon's and it was done soooo exceptionally well... :) I loved to be able to get inside of Zane's mind, and see so much more than this funny side he shows to the world... not to mention that the writing in general was super entertaining... it was my first book by Rachel Van Dyken, but certainly won't be the last... :) I am very highly recommending you guys this book... as in pick it up ASAP :) it's absolutely phenomenal... :) hilariously funny, with surprisingly sweet, vulnerable and emotional parts, that will make you cry and melt your heart... *sighs happily* I adored it soooo much :) it's the perfect read for summer... well, it's a perfect read for every weather and season, but since it's summer right now I'm hoping that me saying it's the perfect summer read will make you pick it up that much sooner ;) no pressure or anything, but go get this gem right now :) XOXO A

The premise of this intrigued me and it worked upon reading it. I loved this book. How do I put it Zane is a oddball? An enigma, marshmallow loving rock star. Since I read Capture I was so curious about him and what makes him tick. He and Fallon met in the most unusual way, it was charming all the same. Fallon is all kinds old fashioned awkward nerd, from her mannerisms but she and Zane crack me they couldn't be more different. Getting to know the secrets behind Zane, the guy behind the persona was deeper than I thought. I get now why he built his brand as such. Oh him and Fallon were such a contradiction in a way. But they were a delight, that banter was crazy funny.Their little conversations and moments, the development of their relationship felt like them and it was wonderfully done that it wasn't contrived. Fallon is so accepting of Zane and him of her own weirdness. Zane can be a little much to handle but she did and she got him. I was smitten with them and they make me smile. With the gang present of course and they definitely were there when Zane needed them. Fallon gave Zane friendship, trust and love and he gave it back. Rachel balances the serious, fun, humor and makes it seamless. Her writing style always is enjoyable and easy to get into. This story makes you realize sometimes you get the things you need when you least expect. Even though the characters are young yet at their age they experienced a lot. It was written that it makes sense cause of status and their place in life. The next book looks to be another crazy ride with the gang

Mallows, rockstars, and saints... Saint..aka Zane. Trust me when I say you are going to love this book. It has snarky humor. It has LOL humor. It has moments you might even need a Kleenex. You met him in Capture, and let's not even pretend you didn't drool for him there. You wanted Dani and Zane for a minute we all did, and I was so excited, waiting for this release. Now that I've read it, I can officially state. I'm grabbing my mallows and heading out to find this rockstar. I'll be grabbing my dark fr Mallows, rockstars, and saints... Saint..aka Zane. Fallon, who is super cute, sweet, nerd chic (is that a thing, well it is now) she is clumsy and all things anti-rockstar girlfriend material. But turns out our Rockstar, Zane has a pretty big secret he's keeping himself, his nickname is Saint, but it's not because of the reasons his fans think. His wit and humor, make the banter between him and Fallon so much fun to read it's like watching a sitcom. Where this author gets her material for all these characters I have no idea but her muse is amazing and I love her writing.

This book is beautifully written. I'm mad because the blurb makes it as if this is a generic love story where the hot famous guy meets plain, nerdy girl and they ride it off to sunset. Wrong. This book is so much more. It's different and I totally didn't expect the direction this book was going. The circumstances leading to how Hero and heroine became friends were even more peculiar. I have a new favorite bbf...his name is Zane, he stole my heart, he broke my heart, and I love him. I don't know if love is strong enough of a word, though. I completely adore him...he's so sweet, so funny, utterly endearing in his vulnerabiluty. I wish there were more characters written like him. Full review to come. 4.5 Stars I’m craving marshmallows. Zane completely stole my heart. And Fallon...how could you not love her? She was so endearing with her thick glasses, her innocence, her clumsiness...loved her. These two complemented each other perfectly. It started off a bit slow, but I’m so happy I kept at it because it just kept getting better and better. The last 75% or so...omg, so many feels.
