Grace is only in London for the duration of her internship. When the internship comes to an end, will Grace stay in London with Jonathan or will she return home to the United States? "There really is a connection between us, one that he won't be able to deny. That's why I'm still here, why he isn't able to drive me away with his domineering ways." She is desperate to draw him in and yet keep her dignity intact! The sexual chemistry is off the charts between these two. It is the intimacy shared between the two that finally begins to breakdown the barriers. Jonathan begins to want more with Grace. As with most relationships, there are elements of tension rising all around them. "I'm ablaze with desire and abandon myself completely to his rhythm." Uncovered is a perfect read for people who enjoy the "sexy business man falls for his innocent intern" plot line. The writing is heavy on the narrative side and yet, I felt like it worked well in this installment. The characters were much more developed in this book and I was pleasantly surprised with how things progressed. In addition to liking the main characters, I really enjoyed getting to know the secondary characters as well. Of course, my favorite element of the read was the setting. Who doesn't love a good read set in England? "I've decided not to give up, to fight for him..." Overall, Uncovered was a winning read. I highly recommend it for my friends who like Bared to You or 50 Shades of Grey. This was definitely my favorite of the two books and I am sincerely looking forward to reading the third book Unleashed! ~BR with my girl SHARE!~ ~ARC graciously provided via NETGALLEY in exchange for an honest review!~ For more reviews/reveals/giveaways visit:

There is a push and pull dynamic and circumstances causes Grace to question whether Jonathan is right or wrong for her. This one did come off a bit wordy to me at times, but the characters, especially Grace, are very charming, so it's not off-putting. It was fabulous buddy reading this with Liz and I'm excited to start book three. ARC graciously provided in exchange for an honest review*

I liked the twists and checkmates that this story allowed to happen. I even liked Grace because she isn't a babbling idiot and knew she had to do what was right for her at the end of day, even if it meant breaking her own heart. I liked Hunter (Jonathan) quite a bit because he blossomed and grew on the pages. He wasn't stupid enough to stay the same and realized that change is necessary, especially when love and happiness are on the line. I look forward to seeing how the next book wraps up this interesting little love story.

Yay! I finally got to read the second book of the Colours of Love series, Uncovered. I've been waiting for this book since finishing the first book in April. The first book ended with a huge cliffhanger, so it was a long six month wait to finally get some closure. This book picks up right where the first book ended. I finally got to read the second book of the Colours of Love series, Uncovered. I've been waiting for this book since finishing the first book in April. The first book ended with a huge cliffhanger, so it was a long six month wait to finally get some closure. This book picks up right where the first book ended. Grace has just walked out of the club, not willing to share Jonathan with anyone. She wants more with him and she wants him to fight to be with her. Little did she know that he would literally fight for her. He gets into a fist fight with Yuuto in the driveway of the club. After they drive away from the club together they spend all of their free time together. This is a great start at a real relationship between them. Just what Grace wants. And the sex is steamy hot. "I've decided not to give up, to fight for him." Their relationship looks like it's on the right track to turn into something serious. I loved how well Grace got along with his family. I enjoyed her friendship with Jonathan's sister, Sarah. Grace can't seem to figure out the mixed signals Jonathan is giving her, but doesn't want to give up on them. However, her finals are in just a few weeks and they require her to go back to Chicago. That topped with the fact that she told him she loved him and he didn't say it back leave her questioning where they stand. Can their relationship survive or will they go their separate ways? I have to say that I was very satisfied with the ending. I know there is a third book in this series and I can't wait to read it, but if the story were to end here I would be okay with that. I am hoping to see more of Sarah and Alex in the next book. Sarah's so feisty and knows what she wants or I should say who she wants, Alex, but she can't get him to admit his feelings even though it's obvious. So she takes her destiny into her own hands and makes things happen. Luckily it was just the thing that Alex needed. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

After Jonathan and Yuuto follow Grace outside of the club, the two men get into a fight over Grace and how she supposedly tricked him into being with her. After fighting for her, Jonathan tells Grace that he is ready for an exclusive relationship, and is not willing to give her up. The couple become closer, but throughout the book we are exposed to Jonathan's areas of difficulty where he refuses to admit how he feels, which could be a deal breaker for Grace. She loves Jonathan, but does she really want to be in a relationship where her partner can't even admit how he feels about her. It's been a few months since I read the first book, but I was able to remember what happened just fine. Grace and Jonathan's relationship is pretty stereotypical. There is a boy who first appears cold, then proves he isn't, but they shows that he locks up his emotions and won't let them show. Then there is the girl who comes to love him and then tries to bring those emotions out to no avail. Like I said, quite a stereotypical relationship. A lot of the time in this book I wanted to hit either of the characters, or both at the same time, which his why I rated this lower than I would've otherwise. I wanted to hit Jonathan because he wouldn't admit what he was already showing, and he was so stubborn he wouldn't listen to others. I wanted to hit Grace because she stayed in a relationship where she didn't feel appreciated in a situation that wasn't sexual. It seemed pretty unhealthy to me! Other than that, there isn't too much to say about this book, because it is your typical closed-off man romance. The plot was quite predictable, and you can definitely tell what's going to happen far before it happens, besides a few minor things which aren't related to Jonathan and Grace. The ending was the type of ending you could see from a mile away, but was still satisfying to read. Knowing the nature of their relationship, try to guess how the book ended. I'm sure you'll get it right. If you want to know if your guess was right, here it is: (view spoiler)[ Jonathan blows up at her and asks why she would love him, and doesn't admit he loves her. She leaves him. After a month or so, he comes running back to her and tells her that he misses her and couldn't live without her, couldn't sleep, and all that jazz. With great difficulty, he admits he loves her. You were probably quite close in your guess. (hide spoiler)] Overall, this was decent but I think it would've been better if Jonathan and Grace's relationship was portrayed as healthier. It bothered me that whenever Grace wanted to confront Jonathan about the way he was acting towards her, if he so much as kissed her, she forgot about it. Have some resolve! I do have to say that I enjoyed the first book better than this one, because she seemed like a more willing partner in the relationship. I would only recommend this book to you if you enjoy the stereotypical "emotionless," can't show love romances.

Sarah was finally released from the hospital so there was more interaction with her and Grace. Grace seemed a bit stronger in this book, I think she was fed up with the way Yuuto was trying to control everything. I wish I could say it was easy sailing for Grace and Jonathan being together but it was anything but. I don't want to give any spoilers but I will say that Grace goes on two trips, one to Ireland and then one to Chicago. Kathryn Taylor has a way of keeping you on the hook and wanting more from the story, so while this book didn't end with a huge cliffhanger, I was left wanting to see what would happen next with Grace and Jonathan as well as Sarah and Alexander. Uncovered is book two in the Colours of Love trilogy, following on from Unbound which I really enjoyed reading a few months ago. The ending of Unbound left me hanging and eager to read more so I couldn’t resist my copy of Uncovered for long. But I’m left feeling not entirely sure it was worth the wait. I did like Uncovered, it was a good continuation of the first book but I really think the author could have made this book so much more. It seemed to pale in comparison to the first book and at times it almost felt like it was written by a different author because the things I loved about Unbound were the things that didn’t really work for me in Uncovered. This was an entertaining enough instalment and I’m interested to see how it ends – but I did expect a little more. The events from the previous book led up to a cliffhanger ending so I was wondering where things were going to be taken at the beginning of this book. Things are pretty tense between Grace and Jonathan and I loved the dramatic start which drew me in. I was rooting and cheering for Jonathan here as he stood up for Grace – dare I say his mean and brooding persona was showing a bit of a softer side? There were dramatic parts spread all throughout Uncovered which livened up the story and brought out a different side to the characters. Grace felt different to the naïve and awkward woman we met in book one. She seemed more confident and capable though I’m not sure I liked this side to her that much since she could become a bit condescending and whiney. I had mixed feelings on Grace but with Jonathan, I grew to like him more as we get to see a more open side to his character. He’s still cut-off and afraid to express his feelings about anyone and anything, but there are glimpses of the heart he’s keeping hidden inside. One of my favourite parts about this series is the exploration of Jonathan’s family. Though I would have liked to have seen it developed even further, I did like seeing more of the family dynamics and Jonathan’s relationships with his sister and his father, not to mention his feelings towards his mother who died when he was a child, were interesting and intriguing. Sarah has her own little story going on in this trilogy which feels a bit rushed, but I do like her character. She’s worthy of her own spin-off novel I reckon. Unbound had a few sex scenes, all well written, which were sexy and steamy and all of those things. What I loved more was how they were part of the story, rather than taking over the story. If I’m honest, I found that to be very different in Uncovered. Other than the family drama, this book just seemed to go nowhere. Some bits were just bland and then were filled with sex scenes which didn’t contribute anything except adding some content to a story which needed fleshing out a lot more. It wasn’t that the author had run out of ideas, she started plenty of different strands to this story which could easily have built the book up, but she didn’t develop them. They ended before they really got started. I had so many questions stemming from the first book or from what we discovered in this book. But the author seemed in a rush to answer those questions and to close off those parts of the book so then there was nothing left but to add in a sex scene or six. Which maybe wouldn’t have been that bad if the sex scenes were well written, like in Unbound, but instead I just cringed my way through them. Some of the language used felt like I was back at school sat in a sex education lesson, not reading a book. I do have a few niggles with Uncovered as I’ve mentioned above but actually, I really did like this book. It’s tense and erotic yet heart-felt and touching. It was pretty suspenseful as we wait to see what will happen between Grace and Jonathan. Has Grace been pushed too far? Will Jonathan open his heart to her? I wasn’t expecting the ending in this book – it felt more complete than I would have expected from a second book in a trilogy. If I didn’t know it was a trilogy, I wouldn’t have assumed there’d be another book on the way. But I’m looking forward to reading it. Also, just like in Unbound, this book got better as it went on. The last 20% or so I really loved, as things between Grace and Jonathan reached the most emotional level. Both characters have come a long way since the first book, though they’ve almost gone in opposite directions, and the way the author develops them as characters is a real highlight. They’re multi-layered and complex, each with interesting stories to tell and I am rooting for things to work out well between them – however likely or unlikely that may be. Bring on the next book... I was kind of let down by this squeal. There just seemed like something missing. I had more questions then answers. The characters in the first book seemed more in depth and you could really relate to them. By midway through this one I just couldn't figure out they both were so one dimensional. The characters didn't seem to grow or change even though they said they did. It just felt flat and not true. The sex as hot as always. Wow Grace and Jonathan sure know how to light it up with each other! I was kind of let down by this squeal. There just seemed like something missing. I had more questions then answers. Wow Grace and Jonathan sure know how to light it up with each other! I can truly say they get you hot and bothered during the read! I was very disappointed with the reasons behind Jonathan being so standoffish and unfeeling. I understand the guilt part but I was waiting for that connection to Yuuto. I always felt that Yuuto had sinister plans and helped bring Jonathan to the unfeeling person he became, but that never came to fruition. This was never truly explained. Nothing explained Yuuto's rash behavior at the club and why he was so upset. There has to be a connection or a reason and it never was brought out, even with Jonathan's father's connections to Yuuto's family. That was so underdeveloped and not there. I was also disappointed in how Jonathan just changed. It was never explained where he went while Grace was in America, he just pops back in and wham a changed man. The story was good, but not as good as the first. I would love to hear Sarah and Alex's story! Good read but a let down after the first. I was totally engrossed in the actual romance of it all. I thought that the story was so very touching about Jonathan. The erotic scenes between Jonathan and Grace are very explicit and detailed. The first book, Unbound, should be read before this book. I am now looking forward to reading the final book in the series. I wish to thank Netgalley and Bastei Entertainment for allowing me to read and review this book.

This one was ok... 3.5 stars maybe. I wanted more from this and I didn't get it. I won't be reading the 3rd book ( really a novella) I am fine with how it all panned out and I have a hunch about what the big issue will be next for these two and I am not interested in going that route. The story was good, the heat was AMAZING, just something fell flat with this one. This one was ok... 3.5 stars maybe. I wanted more from this and I didn't get it. I did enjoy the first book in this series, but this one fell a little flat for me. Maybe I just got tired of this story. There was really no wow factor to keep me interested, just another boring part two. A little disappointing.

It starts off right where Unbound - Colours of Love ended. That's when you see Jonathan start to change in the way he saw and felt for Grace. Let's just say that Jonathan and Grace didn't really have such a great relationship in Unbound. He didn't want one, so she savored what ever she could get from him. Jon started realizing that he didn't want to lose Grace so he was now going to play by her rules meaning they'll actually be a couple in a relationship. I think that scared Jon a bit but he was not willing to let Grace go. There were times when Jon was cute and surprising but many times he was an ass if you ask me. He was willing to be in a relationship with Grace but he wasn't really that romantic, he was just serious most of the time, he knew what he wanted but didn't think about Grace in his future. It just felt like Jon from Unbound not Jon in a relationship. And in the Manor he didn't even want to introduce Grace as his girlfriend, what's up with that and he avoids her at the charity, he says he was hosting, uh that seemed very cold to me. Grace in the other hand was trying to figure things out with Jon while keeping her job. Many co-workers were surprised that she actually was good at her job and knew what she was doing, they just assumed that she got special treatment for being the boss's girlfriend, okay she does get special treatment but we do see her doing projects and managing them. Jon and Alex trust her with their business. She doesn't know where she stands with Jon sometimes. He is cute and cuddly sometimes and then cold and distant most of the time and that confuses her, I get confused. But she doesn't want to give up on him. I liked that we get to know what happened to Jons mom. I think it's always touchy when she is brought up cus you can see that Jon and his dad really miss her and its sad. We learn why Jon is the way he is. We also learn more about his dad the Earl. He isn't how Jon describes him, he just doesn't get along with his dad. There's more to him that Jon doesn't want anything to do with, while Grace is more open and understanding with him. We see how dad is connected to Yuuto. And we get to hear more about Sarah and Alex. There were things that I didn't like. Every time Grace and Jon were arguing or in a fight, she would ask him something and he basically would shut her up by kissing her, making out and sleeping with her. She never got her answers and nothing was resolved, they would just go in circles, and she will still not know how he really feels about her. For example that part where Jon doesn't talk to her for like three days, leaves for one day, doesn't let her know he's back, she knows he is, but the second he appears and kisses her she forgets she's angry with him, all he needs to do is kiss her and she forgets everything. I think he says he wanted to see if he could be without her, soooo was he trying to brake up with her? Not cool. Oh and right after that they sleep together and he's supposedly describing why he likes her and wants to be with her, he basically describes her body, what he likes to do and stuff, nothing about who she is, her personality, nothing, and Grace is all happy saying "he loves me, I know he does :-) " I'm like girl when did he say that you're amazing and a hard worker and smart. Where!!! He could do no wrong in Graces eyes. Well that was my rant. Overall I did enjoy reading Uncovered. The ending was cute. I would've loved it if Grace let Jon sweat it out a bit. She could've been like "nope, not interested, you let me go". I do want them together but I think it would've been great if this time she was the one who was a bit colder, just a little bit. Make him work for your forgiveness girl. We get to see him nervous, cute :-) I liked how it ended, I would've liked Jon to have been more romantic through out the book just like he was at the end. I think I would've liked him more. In Uncovered there was action, fight scenes, a shooting, questions were answered and more action but of the other kind, the more adult kind ;-) Great book ***

Most of this book is about their growing personal relationship and how they both deal with it, uncovering a few family secrets along the way. We see the story through Grace's eyes. She began this series as an innocent and naïve girl , but she's actually quite strong and determined, and we see signs of that in this book. She's an interesting mix of soft and hard, sweet and cunning. Jonathan, on the other hand, is all hard lines and untouchable walls, very intriguing. This series continues to surprise me with how much I'm interested in it. I've become engaged with the characters, although Grace's dramatics bother me with her over-the-top adoration for Jonathan. If you're looking for action (other than in the bedroom), this book is not for you It was fairly uneventful, although there were a couple of family revelations that helped move the story forward. I will continue with this series to see what happens.

Jonathan and Grace’s story continues. They’ve got something real special but of course, things can’t just be diamonds and roses. In a way, this book was better than the first one. The relationship that is in the center of everything grows stronger and even though stuff happens there is still a connection between the couple. This book also made me feel more things than the first book. For example, at one point I was reading the book way longer than I was suppose to because I just had to know what Jonathan and Grace’s story continues. Passion This book elevated the story to new heights. So we finally learn about Jonathan's demons and it's up to Grace to help heal him. I wish this story had a little more umph to it as it just kind of fell flat in the middle. Passion This book elevated the story to new heights. WOW! I am totally amazed by the Colours of Love series. It takes a new twist on love and romance. A lot of people deal with these situations on a daily basis, and its nice to see a man as the one holding back instead of the woman. Grace is head over heels in love with her boss, Jonathon, and he is simply enjoying their time together. Due to issues in his child hood he is hesitant about love, in all shapes and forms. The only people he has let get close to him are his sister Sarah, and best friend WOW! I am totally amazed by the Colours of Love series. It takes a new twist on love and romance. The only people he has let get close to him are his sister Sarah, and best friend Alex. Uncovered opens up where Unbound left out. Grace and Jonathon are standing in the rain after she left the club, and he actually followed her. When Grace left Jonathon realized he didn't want to be without her! How great is that?? Well, until Yuuto Nagako comes out an decides he isn't happy about all this. He and Jonathon end up getting into a fight, over Grace, Yuuto threatens to end all relationships with Jonathon's company, and Jonathon lets him! It all takes place so fast in this book, I’m scared to say too much or you wont need to read the book at all :) Grace admits she cant play by Jonathon’s rules anymore and he decides he would rather try her rules than lose her..so sweet. He is still not sure what is going to happen, but I think giving it a try was the best thing for him to do. Jonathon and Grace are so good together, so good they should never end it!!! They go through ups and downs, and continue to be together. Grace is offered a full time position at the company, and happily takes it. Then the big ball at Lockwood Manor changes a lot of things… He is so distant and closed off, Grace believes they are done for good. She keeps trying to connect with him, but Jonathon cant shake off his hatred for his dad. At the ball Grace and Jonathon sneak into the library to be alone, and hear someone next door in his fathers office, only its not his father. Jonathon yanks the door open to an intruder with a gun. The intruder knocks Jonathon over the head and escapes with his loot, but not before Grace can get a really good description on him.. The next morning the police bring back all the things taken since they had arrested the man in middle of the night. Only, Jonathon believes some things are missing. His mothers jewelry, and a tiara. His father admits to selling all the missing items many years ago to save the foundation his mother had started. This of course makes Jonathon angrier and they argue with even more heat that normally. After leaving the house Grace and Jonathon fight constantly because she believes he should give his dad another chance. This leads to a farther rift between them and Grace decides its time for her to go home. Back to the states, for good. So she quits her job and books a plane for the next day. Back at home Grace hasn’t heard from Jonathon at all, but has been talking to Sarah and Alex, and even accepted a job from Alex in their New York office after passing her exams. A couple weeks later Sarah is picking Grace up at the airport to travel to New York together. Only Sarah doesn’t show… instead someone else shows up and admits their love for her… with a ring….!!!!!! Oh, and did I mention Sarah and Alex are also engaged? Now, I just have to read book 3 (Unleashed) to find out what happens now :) I really am addicted to these books, Maybe there will be a few character stories? Follow ups? Anything? That would be wonderful! :) I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. These thoughts and opinions are all mine.

Grace is in a difficult place, in love with a man who says he doesn’t do love...or real commitment. I really liked her, she’s a hard worker, doesn’t expect favours because she’s dating the boss, and puts up with a lot from Jonathan. She has a tendency to dive in where angels fear to tread and all that sometimes though....Jonathan is a complex character and its clear now what’s behind his reserve, but equally clear he’s the only one that can change that, and he doesn’t seem to want to, even if he loses Grace because of it. There’s some solid characters here and some really interesting plots developments, but I felt they didn’t really live up to what they could be. The event that happened at the Gala/charity Ball for example – my mind had run on all sorts of things behind it and I’d got a couple of suspects lined up, but it turned out to be a standard happening, nothing suspicious behind it. Then there’s Lady Imogen, I had high hopes for some byitch scenes with her, but really there was nothing much : –( I felt there was such rich potential for more drama in the scenes that were given and yet it just all felt very run of the mill... Things with Jonathan are kind of touch and go all the way through, one moment he can’t keep his hands off her and the next she gets treated with ambivalence. That was tough for her, even more so now she knows she’s in love with him, and suspects he feels more for her that he will admit to. Then something happens which was so much like a development in one of my favourite reads, Kylie Scott's novel Lead. Jonathan and Jimmy from Lead have the same issue, can’t/won’t commit to anyone, don’t believe in love, are very much emotionally closed off. When both are confronted with it they react the same and yet the plots go very divergent ways. In Lead it led to some great drama and emotional scenes that I loved, could wallow in, but here it somehow felt a bit flat. We’d got so close to the end of the book I had begun to wonder if their romance was ever going to develop further, and when this happened I was like – Yay, some emotional scene now. I do love some good drama, some tearful, emotional moments that really pull at me. I didn’t feel it though, I felt sad for Grace of course, she put her heart out there and was rejected, but I wasn’t gutted for her, didn’t feel she was hurt beyond repair.  So the events after didn’t feel so good as they would have done if I’d really despaired for her. Its a personal thing of course, everyone wants different things, but I just felt that although this was a good read, a very good one it could have been (for me) a great read. Stars: Four, its a really good read for me, I just felt it could have developed a bit more drama and been a five. Still, for many readers this will be perfect as it is : –) ARC supplied by Netgalley and publishers  If you enjoyed my review I'd love it if you would please click “Like” and if you didn't I'd love to know why, in case I've inadvertently added a spoiler and need to edit.

He tries to make compromises but he is still unable to let anyone "in" and allows his doubts and dark moods to take over. A very unsettling situation! When the revelation of the tragedy which occurred in Jonathan's childhood comes to light, Grace really wants to help him to open up but her attempts are in vane. He holds on to his guilt and blames his father for the unfortunate and heartbreaking accident. This gets in the way of his clarity when it comes to showing his feelings. I admire Grace's tenacity even when their situation seems hopeless. Jonathan convinces himself that it's just good sex whereas Grace believes that there is more to his feelings, which he denies of course and pushes her to the limit. How long will Grace be able to make allowances and hope for the best? The last part of the book brings out all kinds of emotions and I feel for both of them. I also like the way Jonathan's sister, Sarah shows her support to both of them whilst trying to keep the family peace. The ending is not what I expected and has made me even more curious about what's to come in the final instalment. This story is about guilt, hatred, pent up feelings and the adverse effects they bring to life. It's a very intense and sensual romance with some soul destroying moments. I received this ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

IMO, the second novel in the Colours of Love series was a lot better than the first. The writing and story improved immensely, and I was actually able to put the book away in a few days (whereas it took me over a week to read the first; I had to make myself keep going which is unlike me). Jonathan knows he does IMO, the second novel in the Colours of Love series was a lot better than the first. The writing and story improved immensely, and I was actually able to put the book away in a few days (whereas it took me over a week to read the first; I had to make myself keep going which is unlike me). This story picks up immediately where the first left off with Jonathan chasing after Grace when she leaves “the club” deciding she cannot be in a relationship playing by Jonathan’s rules. Jonathan knows he doesn’t want to let Grace go, so he agrees to a relationship on her terms. But is it really on her terms? Although he’s doing his best to give their relationship a chance, he is still closed off from her. Whenever Grace seems to making breakthroughs with him, his past trauma builds up the walls to push her away. I liked Grace a lot more in this story. Although her internal dialogue kind of killed me with all the self-doubt, I had to admit that I probably thought much along the same lines when I was in my early twenties. Still, outwardly she fought hard for Jonathan’s love and to help him overcome the turmoil he’s been carrying with him for over 20 years. So, does she get her happily ever after? Yes… but only after she leaves his stubborn ass to make him realize what a d-bag he’s been. So, it’s one of those “if you love them, set them free” moments. Again, to me this story was better for me than the first. The pacing moved along quickly, and I could just relate to it better. There were some odd sentences/phrases that I’m just going to chalk up to words getting missed in translation; or perhaps they’re just phrases I’m not used to seeing in the U.S. Regardless, I’d give this book a 3.5 stars, but in the spirit of generosity am bumping up to a 4. Looking forward to the last book in the series. (Copy provided in exchange for review)

This is book two in the "Colours of Love" Series. I really enjoyed book one 'Unbound' and yes book one did have a cliffhanger sort of like 50 Shades of Grey. I do plan on reading that next but just wanted to mention that book in case like me you want to read the whole series. This book picks up with Grace our heroine, trying to leave our hero, Jonathan after they have a big fight involving taking a major bad step in their relationship. A fight between Jonathan and another guy who has been 'after' Grace start just minutes after their fight. But once Jonathan is pulled away from the other guy he speaks to Grace again and she agrees to leave with him and try their relationship once more. Jonathan said that he would go by her rules and not his any longer. In other words he has agreed to make this a relationship and not just sex buddies. Grace is very happy at first and they go on that way for a while but she starts to want more from him because she has fallen in love with him. But when Jonathan was little he saw his parents fight and his mother accidentally falls down the stairs. From then on until the present day he has hated his father and not gotten along with him. Grace sees this as the reason he says he is unable to love anyone and she tries to get him to fix his relationship with his dad. But he keeps saying he wont and Grace feels that they cannot go forward. So next we see how they deal with this issue and how the overcame things to be together. I also really enjoyed the secondary characters in this book too. Around great read! Loved it.

What she thought could be fun and exciting does not match reality. Rather than lose Grace, Jonathan agrees to try an exclusive relationship. Grace’s inexperience with men makes a serious relationship challenging and leads her to question whether her dark and broody handsome prince can really be hers alone. She spends quite a bit of emotional angst trying to figure out exactly what Jonathan feels for her, and where their relationship might be going, if anywhere. Americans are usually very out there with feelings whereas Brits are much less forthcoming in general and Jonathan particularly so. Family issues at the ancestral home of his father, the Earl, further complicate matters and demonstrate to Grace how different her background is from the English aristocracy. As they attempt to balance a personal and professional relationship, Grace falls deeper in love her enigmatic English Lord. Grace is young and inexperienced and so some of the things she does are painful to watch although not to the extent of the first book as she matures and learns from experience. She is intelligent, determined to be a success in her career, and truly cares for this very difficult, complicated man. Jonathan has so much emotional baggage that it threatens the viability of their bond; however, clearly he must be willing to deal with his personal demons and make some changes or lose Grace forever. I look forward to seeing how things pan out for their evolving relationship in the next book.

While at the club Grace realizes when she see’s Yuuto that she doesn’t want to be there any longer. She runs out of the club to the limo where Jonathan follows and pleads with her to not leave him. There is a confrontation between Jonathan and Yuuto and I have to say I was glad to see Yuuto get what was coming to him. The sexual relationship between Grace and Jonathan is very erotic and hot. Even though Jonathan is trying to be what Grace wants there always seems to be something that comes up. I have to say that Sarah (Jonathan’s sister) is one of my favorites from the book. She added a great element to the story along with Alex. We learn something heartbreaking about Jonathan’s past and the confrontation between Jonathan and Grace will cause a slight ugly cry. My heart broke for Grace. Inside, I feel as though I’ve been turned to stone, as I look at his back and feel the cold realization taking possession of me that things can never work between him and me. Unbound has left me emotionally drained and anxious to see what happens. There is a cliffhanger but it leaves you satisfied to a point. Kathryn Taylor has continued to pull me in further with her writing. You feel every emotion and feel like you're right there with Grace and Jonathan. I am excited to see what Unleashed has in store for us. ARC Provided by publisher via Netgalley for an honest review.

After reading the the first book of the 'Colours of Love Series' I knew I had to read the rest of this story since it ended with a cliffhanger to see what would become of this sexy situation that Grace she has with Jonathan. To my surprise the novel was starting to make a little more sense to me how this author was presenting the story all to the reader. At times I began thinking that Grace was getting a little more sense and asserting herself in with just who Jonathan really is. Grace will get a surprise when Jonathan 'literally fights for her.' Now, what was that all about? The other characters from Sarah, Alex to a few others that will come into play being so well developed really adds to this well written story. To see how this story will all come out you will have to pick up the second series to see how well this author will bring it all out to the readers. I liked this series a little better than the first one. Now what will the next series bring us? I guess we will have to see in 'Unleashed Colors of Love #3' This is definitely one of those stories that will have 'drama, family issues, emotional insecurities, unfortunate past' and in the end the reader will get a twist on love and romance. When it came to working for him & his company, she talked to his employees like she was better than them. Um, no bitch you're not. You've been with him for like a week you're not entitled to treat people that way. I also thought she treated Jonathan like a child. I just found her to be really annoying & contrived. There was also SO much filler in this book. So much unnecessary dialogue & to much boring, lackluster sex. This is supposed to be a sexy book with an alpha male. There was neither sexiness or an alpha male. In fact, I skipped over the sex because it was so bad. I wanted Jonathan to take charge so many times & put Grace in her place but he cow-tailed to her. I can't even tell you what the main storyline was because there was a few different plot points but, none of them went anywhere. I really wanted to get on board with this book but it just missed so many elements. Now, there is a 3rd book coming out in this series. The way this book ended, I don't think there needs to be another book. I may read it out of curiosity sake but, we'll see.

This is a second instalment in the Colour of Love series and again I enjoyed it very much. To me the story is somehow believable and like a modern day Pride and Prejudice (with lots of hot scenes in it). First book ended on a cliff hanger and left us wondering whether Jonathan could really change his lifestyle for Grace. This book starts off at that point and takes us through the emotional struggle that this heated relationship is for both Grace and Jonathan. Grace is still unsure about Jonathan This is a second instalment in the Colour of Love series and again I enjoyed it very much. Grace is still unsure about Jonathan’s feelings for her and how far he will allow himself to give in to whatever he feels for her. There come various obstacles in their love story, coming from his mysterious business partner Yuoto and also from the Earl of Lockwood himself, Jonathan’s father. Grace finally learns more about Jonathan’s history which explains his inability to accept his own feelings and the love Grace so obviously feels for him. Again this book didn’t disappoint me and I managed to finish it within 48 hours. I find the author’s writing style easy to read, the language isn’t overly fluffed up and the characters are likable and believable. I find myself rooting for Grace and Jonathan and feel that all the difficulties that come up in their relationship are really just making them stronger. Thank you very much to Netgalley and Bastei Entertainment for access to this book in exchange for an honest opinion.
