A new and sultry paranormal romance series from Delilah Fawkes, the best-selling author of The Billionaire's Beck and Call! What they asked of me was impossible. Worse than impossible, it was insane! How could I willingly let them use my body--let them ravage me--and still be the girl my Mama and Daddy raised? How could I let these men put their hands on me--put their mouths A new and sultry paranormal romance series from Delilah Fawkes, the best-selling author of The Billionaire's Beck and Call! What they asked of me was impossible. Worse than impossible, it was insane! How could I willingly let them use my body--let them ravage me--and still be the girl my Mama and Daddy raised? How could I let these men put their hands on me--put their mouths on me, their stubble rasping over my most intimate places--as they tasted my flesh... as they feasted on me? How could I even consider jumping into bed with three men I just met, much less let one of them breed me... Hell, who's to say I would even survive the encounter. After all, the Boucher Boys are more than men, muscled like modern-day gladiators, even before they Change. Every fiber of my being senses danger when they are near. I can practically taste it in the air, like ozone before a twister comes crashing down. But I just can't help myself... Especially when Quentin, the one who tracked me down, looks at me with those deep, dark eyes, and smiles at me like a wolf looking at his prey... I lose all control. If I don't help them, if I don't use my Healer's Gift, then the curse they're under will keep getting worse, and people in the small town of Cattail Creek will keep turnin' up dead. I need to figure somethin' out before the next Full Moon, or my reputation is going to be the least of my problems! But no matter how dashing Quentin is, no matter how tall and handsome Bastian and Felix are, I can't let myself lose sight--I can't ever forget... The Boucher Boys are monsters, plain and simple. And they eat little country girls like me for breakfast. I was gifted an ARC from the author, in exchange for an honest review. All I can say is WOW... I was quickly thrust into this short story, which felt alot longer than it was, then quickly thrust back out. I loved absolutely everything about this story... well almost everything, the cliffhanger at the end left me shattered. The storyline kept me riveted to my seat, the history & charisma of the characters kept me intrigued, I HAVE TO HAVE MORE of this series NOW!!! Well written, short story - with a cliffhanger, that will no doubt continue in part two. This is an edge of the seat type book, I'm waiting (not so) patiently for part 2

Fed to the Wolves, Part 1: Bad Moon RisingDelilah Fawkes Reviewed by SFF Dragon A good start to this short story, but it is only part 1 and has a cliff-hanger at the end. Waiting for Part 2 now. I was offered a copy of Part 1, Bad Moon Rising in exchange for an honest review. I haven't read anything by this author before, so had no idea what to expect other than what was in the blurb. This paranormal romance, although I'm not sure romance is quite the right description, yet, is well written but a very short read about five brothers who have inherited their father's curse and turn into werewolves every full moon, and I do mean werewolves, the kind you see in horror movies and have nightmares about, who need the help of a healer to remove the curse. Spoiler Alert - The guys tell Trixie the story, but something about it really jarred for me. Their father was publicly accused of using dark arts by the priest, and curses are the dark arts, so who actually cursed him? This is only Part one, so there's a cliff-hanger ending and only three of the five Boucher brothers appear. There's not a lot of actual steam so I assume that's in part two, and even though these guys may be gorgeous hunks who make the heroine hot and horny, the way they talk would drive me up the wall in less than five minutes. Although the story is told in the first person entirely from Trixie's point of view and was quite good in spite of that, the speech patterns and accents changed so much, not just from character to character, but the same character, within single sentences, and it did it all the way through the story. It was extremely irritating and seriously detracted from my reading pleasure. If you can ignore the weird speech, this is worth reading, and I'd like to read part two to see what happens in the end but it's very expensive for what it is, so 3 stars.

Five hot werewolves too much? Fed to the Wolves: Bad Moon Rising, Part 1 is the first installment in a sensual serial romance. Trixie Gordon has come home to Cattail Creek to see to her Grandmothers funeral and possessions. A couple days after the funeral she is met with a disturbing phone call. Apparently her grandmother was involved in something dark and foreboding. From notes and a partially finished letter Trixie knows she needs to help. A trip into the bayou brings Trixie to Boucher Camp, Five hot werewolves… too much? Fed to the Wolves: Bad Moon Rising, Part 1 is the first installment in a sensual serial romance. Trixie Gordon has come home to Cattail Creek to see to her Grandmother’s funeral and possessions. A couple days after the funeral she is met with a disturbing phone call. Apparently her grandmother was involved in something dark and foreboding. From notes and a partially finished letter Trixie knows she needs to help. A trip into the bayou brings Trixie to Boucher Camp, home to five startlingly good looking men… or rather five werewolves, although we are only introduced to three of them in this installment. Most of the interplay is between Quentin and Trixie until Trixie puts her healer sensitivity to work on the three. One session with Quentin, Bastian and Felix is very revealing as to where the future will lead. Old folklore says there is a cure to the curse but a cure for only one. This installment introduces you to four of the characters, their histories and the challenges facing them all. You won’t find a HEA but perhaps a HFN while the basis for the series is established. The writing is solid and entertaining. I was left wondering about the younger set of twins yet to be introduced and whether or not Trixie is ready for the mating that is proposed. Of course there is also the matter of the four that won’t be cured. I see a potential for many installments here. So if you’re into short entertaining installments that are steamy reads then Fed to the Wolves promises to be just that. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Any author that is able to write a book/series that will let me travel into their world and participate with the characters is a fantastic Author. Ms. Fawkes is that type of author. Trixie Gordon has come back after twenty years to Cattail Creek, having to go through her grandmother's house after she died. Trixie found a letter written by her grandmother to her , that was not finished. Trixie's grandmother wrote, saying only Trixie a healer can help the Boucher Boys asking her to help them, telling her that the old myths were true. Having many talents besides a healer Trixie had to be careful. So she agreed to visit the boy's and see for herself. Quinton Boucher thought his only hope to remove this Curse was for Trixie to help them as her grandmother said only a very strong healer could help, only one boy could be helped. Trixie finds out the truth but has a hard time to believe that this is reality. Will Trixie help the Boucher Boys? Have to read to find out. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

This is going to be a wonderful series, if this first part is any indication! Trixie goes back home after her grandma's death and finds that instead of putting grandma's thing in order, they are going to go out of order for her. Will Trix be able to help them and at the same time keep herself detached from the mystery that surrounds them? The Boucher brothers have a curse hanging over them and Trixie's grandma convinced Quentin Boucher before she died that Trixie is the solution to breaking their curse. He must convince Trix that it is real, but how to do that without scaring her away. I can't wait to see what awaits Trix and the Boucher brother, it promises to be very magical to say the least. And a just love those Cajun accents! I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and here it is. Well, this was certainly a different take on what I'd call the typical shapeshifter romance--5 hot and sexy werewolves who hate the curse they're under, and a spunky heroine, Trixie, who has a paranormal gift of her own. I more than enjoyed the heat level, which is scorching, and I was hooked on the story from page one. My only negative comment, as ever, is that this story needs a better editor/proofreader. There are issues with syntax, grammar, spelling, dangling participles, missing and misused words, misplaced modifiers, etc., that spellcheck simply does not have the capacity to correct. As a former English teacher, copy chief and law book editor who is currently working as a freelance fiction editor, issues such as the aforementioned hamper my enjoyment of a novel. I can only hope that the author finds a qualified editor/proofreader by the time she finishes writing Part Two.

Wouldn't we all love to have it. The Boucher brothers are all good looking and sexy. Trixie finds herself attracted to three of the brothers she met. Makes you wonder about the missing two. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Wow...this was my first book by this author and I really like her writing style. I don't like cliff hangers though (that's why I read instead of watch tv.) That being said, this was a great opening to the world that the author has created. My interest has been caught and I would like to know more. In book 1, we meet 4 of the main characters. Even though Trix is our leading Lady, her Grandma does provide guidance via letters & memories. Trixie was trying to get her grandmothers stuff in order. Upon doing so she found out that her grandmother had plan Trixie helping out the Boucher Boys. They were werewolves and needed a healer. I could not help but think this had to be a lot for Trixie to take in. Not only did her grandmother share her secret to these boys but offered to let them ravish her granddaughter. Could Trixie go through with what would help these boys? It also had to be hard to find out that the killings that had Trixie was trying to get her grandmother’s stuff in order. How much can you give to save others? Short but original. Trixie Gordon has some gifts to include healing. The Boucher brothers had gone to her grandmother before she died asking for help with their curse. The grandmother had started writing Trixie a letter asking her to help the brothers but never finished it before her untimely death. But what is needed to help may be more then Trixie can or be willing to give. This is an installment to a story and was well written and entertaining to read.

This book had me intrigued from the very beginning..Trix is a strong independent woman who has lots of sass, She is thrown in the middle of something her loving grandma thought she could help with. The Boucher brothers need her help wit s curse. They are handsome dogs. If that's what you call them. Is Trix's gift strong enough to help? Can she be what the Boucher's need? Great plot and endearing southern characters,. I can't wait for the next book

This book draws you in, then leaves you wanting more. It ends with a cliff hanger which is a bummer. The characters are interesting so far. I received this ARC copy for an honest review

It's a good novella and it shows a good story line but I hope the next book has or is more than this one. This is a good preview book. I just hope that the rest in the series has more length to them.
