Actual rating 3.5 stars. The first meeting between the X-Men and the New Mutants! Aaaand of course it begins with them fighting. I’ve noticed that in basically every comic, Kitty changes her costume. (Where does she get the fabric? The ideas?) With this ish the Brood Saga is FINALLY done! (I've reviewed the whole Brood Saga here). But with every door that closes another one is opened! I felt the ending was a little abrupt, teasing for the next issue. Besides that there were some really nice moments between Ororo and Kurt and also with Scott and his dad. Oh and a weird page with the Fantastic Four.

3.5 In this issue we had the transformation of Charles in the most horrible way just imagining how hideous it could be I’m Then of course the introduction of the New Mutants! And honestly I didn’t know how they would be introduced, but fighting with the X-Men was fine for me. There was a weird part with the Fantastic Four, kind of unnecessary but ok. I feel like the ending was rushed and convenient but still it was a nice, excited for the new problem Kitty will endure... I feel like Prof X was kind of right with his motives but at the same time his too late for what he wants to do, imo.

Space Jammers, New Mutants, and the X-men all meet when Professor X is infected with a Brood embryo! This marks the first meeting of X-men and New Mutants. It also is the issue where Professor X decides Kitty should be demoted to being part of the New Mutants and leave the X-men!!! Oh man drama!

The New Mutants meet the X-Men and I’m just as excited about it as I was the first time I read it.
