Remember Me is in the former category, and even though it only took me an hour to read it, I still felt like I had read a full book at the end of it. ”For violating the laws of heaven you are banished.” Caden Wolfe has been around for more than a few hundred years, and in that time he has been searching for one thing, the woman he loves, the woman he lost when he tried to save her from a mortal illness previously. After violating the laws of the angels by giving her the elixir of life and losing his wings, his banishment has left him on earth, with his brothers all of whom lost their mates to the same fate. Cade’s first meeting with Phoebe Little, doesn’t really get off to the best of starts, in as much as they are staring down a missile in Afghanistan, there to interview him and find out more about Stormlord Securities, Phoebe feels there is something different about the elusive and sexily alluring Mr. Wolfe, but isn’t quite sure what it is… Given the opportunity to shadow him, in his business dealings for five days, the chemistry between them burns hot, and becomes hard to deny very quickly. As I said, a lot goes on in this little novella, and I wholly believe Nina could easily flesh it out into a full book if she chose too, but that is probably me being greedy more than anything, as I absolutely love this author’s work. Return to Me is the next story due for release from this series, with Torrin hopefully getting his own ’Happily Ever After’. ”You promised me eternity.” ”It’s yours.” ARC generously provided by the author, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.

Three and a half Angels cast out of heaven is always an interesting idea. This is unfortunately quite short but the author does a good job of lying down the premise, giving a very hot romance and garnering this readers interest in peripheral characters. I look forward to reading more about these 'brothers' who have been cast into the abyss and discovering how the reclaim the loves they have lost .

This was good but not my favorite read by this author. I wish it was longer and had more details about their lives before and after the events that had taken place. . I love the whole lost love aspect. Overall it was a decent read and I will probably read book two.

But as an arms merchant in Afghanistan, he finds a reporter that is his lost love. (view spoiler)[First off, how did a bang on her head end up leaving her with a massive scar? She wasn’t even bleeding. Why did the villagers burn her? They shouldn’t get to dole out god’s punishment. Why did she die? She was supposed to be immortal. But the insta-lust convinces her otherwise. Of course it does. 2 stars

This is the first of Nina Croft's books I've read. I received it as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved the story. The idea of an angel stealing the Elixir of Life to give his human love for eternal life and then being caught and banished for thousands of years as fallen angels - yummy. Phoebe - Cade's modern day Eleni is beautiful and has 5 days to remember enough about her past life with Cade and utter the words "I love you" or they are both lost forever. Because I’ve received the third book in this series to review I decided to read the other two first. What I didn’t like about this book: * Only one thing, it was short and that makes it a little shallow. What I did like about the book: * No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings * Good amount of dialogues * Hot love scenes * Easygoing writing style * Good storyline If you like shifter books and don’t mind a series I recommend this (this story can be read as a standalone)

For some reason I have read these in reverse order, dunno. This is Caden and Phoebe's story. He is a fallen angel and she was his wife many centuries ago. Once he finds her again he only has five days for her to tell him she loves him, and he can't tell her who he is or what they were to each other in the past. As the story is a short one, I will not spoil it for you. It will make you want to read the other ones for yourself. You should.

Short but a good start An angel who falls in love with a mortal, but they are punished and separated. The story is very short and only an intro to the series, but it stirred my interest. Although short, it has plenty of romance, heat and deep characters.

Remember Me (Storm Lords, #1) by Nina Croft is an Adult Paranormal Romance. I was sceptical about this book at first. The synopsis of how this series is built left me wondering how it could be written to really grip me as a reader and sustain a series that could maintain my interest. This is the second book I have read by this author, and even though I loved the book 'Break Out' in her 'Dark Desires' series, that doesn't mean I would feel the same about this one. I am ecstatically amazed and astonished! In less than 75 pages Ms. Nina Croft built a world and characters that is complex and well developed. You are captivated immediately into this world and feel connected to her characters. I am truly blown away. The worst thing I can say about this story is the end happens a little fast. She could have added another page or two to draw it out. But, in truth, it was the perfect ending for Phoebe (Eleni) and Cade's story. I just wish it had been longer. I am selfish and wanted to wallow in this world and with the characters longer. The writing is exceptional. This story flows smoothly and is a stand alone. You don't have to read the next book to get your satisfaction. But, I tell you now, you are so going to want to!! I know I do. It looks like there are only the 2 books in this series so far. This is book #1 and free on Amazon at the time of this review. Book #2 is 'Return to Me' and listed as .99 on Amazon. The kindle edition say it is 222 pages long. As soon as I am done with this review I am buying and downloading it and will wait impatiently for book #3!

Remember Me was a short and fast paced story about love, eternity and punishment of sorts. It's driven by enigmatic Cade, who's an angel - or at least he was until he stole the Elixir of Life and got banished into Abyss and turned into a demon serving for Lilith alongside his brothers who were with him. However, after the premise the story becomes a little shattered. It's a hundred page book quesed into a forty-five page novella and while Cade and his history keeps the story going, it does lack in some parts. For one, Phoebe/Eleni is potrayed as a strong willed woman but it doesn't show. She's not a captivating character I can identify with and that made the story loose some of its charm. I've read few of Croft's stories and she has a nack writing a strong willed, sturbborn-ish women who just makes you like them by being themselves and nothing else but sadly Phoebe/Eleni wasn't that and I did feel a little disappointed by that. Remember Me is had a lots of potential and with a little more length, it could have been really good as the character development could have kicked really in, especially with Phoebe/Eleni. However, it's well written, steamy and Cade certainly is charismatic and one cannot help but love that certain angel turned demon. If you're up to quick read with steamy, eternal love, then Remember Me is definitely for you. (A copy of this ebook was provided in return for an honest review.)

Great book and start to what looks like an intriguing series, I’ll be anxious for the next installment!! Very highly recommend!!

I was very intrigued by the premise of a woman living and dying only to be reborn over and over again until she can be reunited with her love. I had a hard time cheering for the two to come together. Oh, I still liked the story. And in the end, I was please with the ending. It was just not as satisfying a story as I was hoping for. I also really love (although it's really tragic for her) that Phoebe has been haunted by this "past-life loss" her entire life and it's affected every relationship she's ever had. That is a seriously DEEP connection to Cade...LOVE!

Received Arc for review. What a great storyline! Cade and Phoebe (Eleni) are star crossed lovers that are torn apart by death. Cade Has now become a fallen angel forced to serve Lilith the queen of the abyss. With a chance meeting, they are given a second chance. Cade has five days to get Phoebe to remember her time and love for Cade as Eleni. Absolutely love the characters and cannot wait for the next book, Return To Me, Torrin's story.

I was given a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters, it had a great Alpha make and a spunky female. I love how it was not the same old same old and it surprised me some stuff I did not expect to happen. I could not put this book down, I wish that it was longer and had more character development but for the size of this story it was wonderful. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

A great full story! I don't normally leave reviews, but I just want to thank the author. Very few e-books now are or could be read as a stand alone. This book was well written, and kept me reading. It does continue on with a series to tell about the other characters in this book. But love that I don't have to buy another to finish this one. I will buy more from you. Thank you.

Reincarnation As I first read the prologue, I came across the year. At first, I thought it would be just another book on lost love; that no one else would believe in the concept of reincarnation. I was wrong. This story grapples the reality that some souls may find peace, but what if they don't? Do you get a redo button?
