A little too basic Good info but very very basic. I would suggest getting something a bit more in depth and at the very least caution not to start trading options if this is your only resource.

Worth reading I've done these before and made high money from them. This book is super basic, but that's good for folks who have never sold covered calls before. Recommended. I’m pretty new to the stock market. I started with Kratter’s Beginners Guide to the Stock Market which I found beneficial as a starting point. I’ve read some other stock market books from other authors, and still reading more because the market is a complex but fun place. But unfortunately this book fell pretty short for me. It’s extremely basic, and for someone who has a very premature understanding of option trading, I would not suggest this book for beginners, or anyone for that matter. It’s extremely basic, and for someone who has a very premature understanding of option trading, I would not suggest this book for beginners, or anyone for that matter. It fails to to outline even the basic ideas of option trading and could be confusing if you’re a beginner. There’s lots of better books out there on these subjects. Spend the extra money and take the extra time to read. I read this in 10 minutes and was pretty much a waste of time. Did I learn a few new things? Sure. But overall, would not recommend.

Simple beginner into to covered calls This book is super clear and easy to read for beginners not yet trading options using covered calls or cash secured puts. It should provide the needed confidence to new option traders to get started making money with one of the easiest option strategies there is to use.

Too basic A decent beginner level guide. The five rules are especially useful for selecting the right stocks in a covered call strategy and worth the cost of this guide. However, spend a little more money on a guide that covers all the strategies for better value.

I like Matthew Kratter. I read all his books. I think his writing is very easy to understand, but you do have to be careful with his strategy mentioned in the book. They are not all bullet proof, so trade with cautious with his strategy.

The book is short, simple, and easy to read primer on covered calls for newbies who never traded covered calls before. If you are experienced, you can skip this book. If you look for deeper details on trade management, you won't find it here. The book is short, simple, and easy to read primer on covered calls for newbies who never traded covered calls before. Easy to understand This is the 2nd book of Matt's that I've read tonight. His books are easy on the layman. I will definitely be reading more of his material. This little book(let) is too complicated for true beginners. It just confused me. There need to be more in-depth explanations.
