The Book is good for what it is. It will give you the basics of ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed. These are foundational concepts in photography. He also talks about some of the challenges and outcomes of different settings. There are a few pictures. This is definitely newbie material but its good material that is needed if you are new to photography (which I am). For the price it was a good book that I would recommend to someone new to photography.

Easy to follow I found this book easy to follow. I have not tried out the techniques yet, but I intend to. I am still trying to decide on what camera to purchase. I plan on using this book as a reference, again and again.

Some neat tricks There are a few neat tips and tricks in this book, however they are just buried under hard to digest details. Learning about the different parts of the exposure triangle bordered on painful. A simple overview would have sufficed.

For someone who wants to get beyond shooting photos in Auto mode. A really clear overview with examples. Also a great resource as you continue to learn and experiment.

A good over view As a basic review of exposure, it is a excellent book. The author gives the reader a simple viewpoint. This book is not for advanced photographers.
