So the burning question remains...what is Roxy's answer? Well....I don't want to spoil the book for you but in this final installment, we finally get to see a more in depth bond and connection between Parker and Roxy. There was no denying that there is an attraction and feelings brewing between these two but is it enough for this couple when there are secrets still lingering between them. When the secrets and truth are exposed, will their love be a song that never ends? In this installment, I really enjoyed the intensity of Parker and Roxy's relationship. Ms. Suzanne allowed her readers to really understand Parker more. For me, he was a bit of an enigma in the first installment and in this book, I finally saw his walls crumbling. He finally found the person in whom he could confide, trust and love. Though this book had a love story, but the biggest layer of this book was the underlying element of suspense as readers awaits what retalation Randy has planned for Roxy and her family. With suspense and a love story intergrated in the story, it allowed readers to be fully invested as what is to come. But I think the biggest draw for me is the loving relationship not only of Parker and Roxy but of a father and daughter relationship. I love books that has meaning and this one had a great touch of family love. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I did find this installment to be of a slow-burn since the author wanted to showcase the depth of Parker and Roxy's relationship. My only concerned about the book was the last 15% of the book felt so jammed pack for an ending since so many things were happening so fast and it felt overwhelming. But overall, this was an enjoyable read. So if you are a fan of rocker romance mixed in with suspense, then I would recommend you to read Vintage. ARC received in exchange for an honest review. I hate cliff-hangers and suspense novels because I believe the only point in them is for torturing purposes. As a writer I do agree it does give the story depth and builds up the ending but as a reader…I just want to finish the book as fast as I can so I can get to the ending!!! I won’t lie, I found myself skimming some parts of the novel just so I could say, “Yeah, Yeah, now what happens next!?”. With every page turn my heart skips a beat in hoping ARC received in exchange for an honest review. With every page turn my heart skips a beat in hoping it uncovers a little bit more of the mystery or leads me up towards the climax. Vintage – Volume 2 is just another dip in the mountain. Where Volume 1 was left on a cliff-hanger, Volume 2 almost starts you right at the bottom only to build it up back again. Vintage – Volume 2 is the follow-up to Lisa Suzanne’s latest release, the Vintage series. Taking place right after the events that concluded Vintage – Volume 1, Roxy is left standing in front of a crowd of thousands of screaming fans after Parker asks her to marry him. Will she answer the way he expects or will she answer based on what her heart wants? Roxy knows what she wants, and it’s taken a threat to her life and Parker James to help her learn to fight for it. The question is, is she ready and is she strong enough to face this threat head-on? I don’t know if this book was actually shorter than the first, or if I just ate right through it. Just like when I finished Vintage – Volume 1 I felt that I had to read it again right away to see if I’d missed anything, any clue or any hint. It’s almost torture because you have to live through the suspense all over again, even though you know exactly what’s coming. Like in all of Lisa Suzanne’s novels, her characters have a sense of realism in them. What I mean by this is that I find them very realistic, especially Roxanna Price. I find it very insightful when characters go through a lot of character development and personal growth. It makes the character more relatable as well as gives them more depth. You can see how different Roxy is from Volume 1 and how she is in Volume 2. She acknowledges her feelings, she speaks up, and she isn’t afraid to show Parker how much she loves him and needs him. Some MAY argue that the men in romance novels are unrealistic because they show too much feeling; that REAL MEN don’t say they love their women all the time and how much they really need them. Well….this is why fiction works and real life doesn’t. Men, step up your game, and tell your woman how much you love and appreciate her. That’s the key! “I can’t explain our connection, Jimi. It’s deeper than lust and more than sex. That was all I ever had before I met you. But you give me this peace I’ve never had before. Before you, something was missing. But it isn’t missing anymore. You’re my home. You’re family to me. You’re the one on my mind from the second I wake up until I fall asleep, and then I spend the night dreaming about you.” Roxy and Parker definitely grow as a couple a lot more in this book which makes you really happy and really excited. Imagine if everything that happened to them happened to you in a span of a few months. It’s all very overwhelming. I don’t know if I’d be able to handle everything as calmly and collectively as they both did, but I do wish that I could meet someone I knew I wanted to spend forever with and just make everything official. Because that is truly a gift. He chuckled. “Wait a second,” he said, and I stopped mid-stride on my way to the bathroom. “What?” “Do you ever get one of those little waves in your chest where you realize how much you love someone else and how much you never want to be without that person? Because I get those for you all the time.” If you’re looking for romance, suspense and a rock-star that would do anything for you, then the Vintage Series is for you. It’s a quick-read, it’s addicting, and will have you rushing to flip to the next page. 4.5/5 Hearts of Love Check out the rest of my reviews at http://www.akiikomorireading.com

It was one of the better father/daughter touching relationships I have read. This has everything you could want with its emotional ride it takes you on. There were times tears could be running down your face and then it hits you with the impassioned love that Parker had for Jimi. I definitely would recommend this book for any rock romance fanatic. I fell in love with Parker from the get-go and have been "Team James" throughout. I stayed in the background silently supporting, mentally encouraging, and sometimes blushing. My heart went out to Roxy as she just barely existed in her frozen emotional state. When life got too hard she just insulated herself and numbed out her feelings. It was Parker that brought her back to life. But...isn't there always a BUT? Can she trust him? Does he really care for her, or is he just using her to boost his career? Would he have been on the same concert tour with her dad's band if he hadn't made a deal? If she hadn't found out about it, would he have ever told her on his own? There are so many secrets. Why is she in danger? Why won't anyone tell her the truth? Is her Step-Monster in on it? Her father insisted she join the band on their tour so that he could keep her close, for her safety. He even gave her a job as his PA. He would go to any lengths to keep his baby girl safe. Does that include her boyfriend? Was he really hers, or just there to get a leg-up on his way to rock god status? It's all just a big "tangled web" that keeps her confused and frustrated. Forced to always look over her shoulder, waiting for the other shoe to drop, it's hard for her to relax but she's enjoying the time she is getting to spend with Parker. I mean where can I sign up to have a sexy rockstar spend every moment he's not on stage hanging out with me? I bet there's a hell of a waiting-list for that sign-up sheet, huh? So, I'm kinda being a bitch by not feeling sorry for Roxy when she wants to complain about her circumstance. I'm more in Parker's corner, cheering when he tells her, "Life is pleasure occasionally interrupted by shit. How you deal with the shit is what shapes your character." Well, let me tell you, this story is full of character building events that would test anyone's ability to cope. The suspense level and the danger increases and the secrets are eventually revealed. Relationships are tested and emotions are brought to the surface for both the characters and the readers. It's a journey you won't want to miss as Parker vows to keep his 'Jimi' safe...forever. ❤️

I loved this book! The chemistry and bond between Roxy and Parker is getting stronger, but since they each still have secrets, will their relationship flourish? 5 Thrilling Electrified Guitars for Vintage I was too excited to get into book 2 to stop and write a review when I finished 1. So this review actually will cover both - apologies to Ms. Suzanne...I will leave a short review to see this one so that there are reviews for both. This has to be one of my favorite duets. It's no secret that I am a sucker for a great rockstar romance, but probably a bit of one that I am almost as big of a fan of thrillers. This duo marries both perfectly. Roxanna, Roxy, CC, Jimi - whatever name you want to use, is one amazing heroine. Daughter of Rock Royalty, she has never wanted to be in the spotlight. She has also sworn she would never date a musician. She's quite content in the cocoon of not feeling anything she has wrapped herself in, until Parker James and his band show up to do an instore at Vintage, the record store she works in. Their chemistry is intense from the very first moment they meet, maybe even before. Then there is the danger she is in, even if she's only vaguely aware of it. This is the tricky part of the review... I don't want to go anywhere near spoiler territory, but the story is insanely intense. Her overprotective dad knows so much more than he'll share with her, which makes her crazy, but that doesn't mean that the threat is not there. Then there are the unanswerable questions as to whether there is a difference between an omission and a lie. Or omissions and lies. And how much anger about these is justified, and who it should be directed to. It's rare that I fall harder for the heroine than I do the hero, but this set is the exception. I love her stubborn side, even if I think it could have been over the top at times - she eventually realized when it was. The fact that she recognized and acknowledged those things are part of why I found her so endearing. I empathized with her pain. And cheered when she found love. Highest recommendations.

So much happened. Others may think why this can't just happen or somehow why it's sometimes like in a loop... But I think that's what makes this story too. It gives it more character. I liked how everything was planned and placed. The build up from Volume 1 was incredible and personally, Volume 2 did justice on how the story should end. Everything was finally laid out and in the open. There were times I smiled, frowned, wanted to punch someone and even felt really giddy and felt butterflies in my stomach. All because of Parker James. I think I've already expressed how much I loved and adored Parker from the very beginning. And this seems like it just sealed the deal. His patience, love, genuineness, protectiveness and even his dominant side when it came to Roxanna just made me love him all the more. It was tested in this book. And he definitely pulled through. They both clung to each other and pulled through. The way Parker knows just what Roxy needs makes my heart clench. We get to know more about Parker's past here and even then, he can't be any more perfect than he already is. With Roxy, she gets thrown so many curve balls here that it was almost unbearable. Even when Damien, her ex, was brought up again, I swear I can feel so much of what she went through. And I'm so glad she actually has Parker. And another thing—Gideon Price might be a rockstar, but he's damn well one of the best dads a girl could ever hope for. He might've had his secrets as well, but all that were in her daughter's best interest. It was to protect her all this time. Definitely such a beautiful story that will mess with your head and play with your heart. Be ready to hang on to your seat or have blankets to grip once you start this one. Such a thrill of a ride. ~Renery, 5 stars

I don't even know where to start with Vintage vol. 2! There are so many different facets to this story, part romance, part sexy erotica, part suspense. There were so many moments where I thought I had everything figured out only to realise I was off the mark. There are so many different facets to this story, part romance, part sexy erotica, part suspense. There were so many moments where I thought I had everything figured out only to realise I was off the mark. Roxanna Cecilia Price has lived the last few years in a state of forced numbness, loss after loss has caused her to withdraw from so much, a constant rotation of work then home has been her days, Parker James lit a spark in her usually dull world causing her to think and feel more than she has in such a long time. Vintage vol. 1 left the reader waiting with baited breath for CC's response to Parker's question, in true Lisa Suzanne fashion, everything was not as it seemed, as I dove in to vol.2 I was right back to that tingly, nervous butterfly feeling as I desperately tried to figure out not only who the players were but their roles in everything happening. Do I sound like I'm being deliberately vague? I am, I truly believe that so much of the experience that comes from reading is finding out all the little intricacies and secrets, as much as I was already a huge fan of #TeamJames in vol.1, Parker James has certainly cemented himself on my most swoon worthy book boyfriend list, his perfect balance of fierce protector, dominant alpha, romantic swoon master, and sexy as sin leading male hit all the right buttons for me, the more I read the more invested I became. There's so much I loved in this two part series, it felt like a such a departure from Lisa Suzanne's previous work, and yet still very much maintained her voice, strong female leads that walk that fine line showing that they can be both strong and independent and yet still soft and vulnerable. Where suspense is generally not a sub genre I'm drawn to read, I found Vintage blended it perfectly with smoking hot sexiness and heartbreakingly beautiful romantic moments, the combination enthralled me, it commanded my attention, meaning that I couldn't put it down. The blend of these two leading characters is what ultimately drew me in so much to their story, and left me wanting more long after I turned the last page.
