Short story? Oslo failed and Meital thinks that the PLO and Arafat take an undue share of the blame. Looks at the implications of Rabin's assassination, Netanyahu's platform that Oslo was a blunder, the role of third parties, and other germane issues with the Israeli Palestinian situation. An easy read that doesn't require a whole lot of background. A good first book on the subject. Short story? Oslo failed and Meital thinks that the PLO and Arafat take an undue share of the blame. If I never see the word "concomitantly" again it would be too soon. Someone get this man a thesaurus!
It's a good background into the conflict and a pretty easy read; Appendix 1: Chronology of Key Events is extremely useful. If I never see the word "concomitantly" again it would be too soon. Someone get this man a thesaurus!
