To be fair the book is written wonderfully with well developed, mature and likable characters. Some more than others. But hero’s actions ..dear god where do I start?! Let’s see, after heroine breaks up with him, he goes and marries a groupie just after two weeks! Like his two year relationship with her wasn’t important at all. The scene where heroine confronts this is very angsty not mention nasty. Then in the space Sheer grit and mule headed stubbornness.... that’s what made me finish this book. Thank god she wasn’t celibate. That would’ve been cherry on top. This is why I dont read rockstar books and only read selected second chance romance. Book is very angst filled and had its own pros, but not for me. I couldn’t get past above mentioned or the FACT that they met again by pure coincidence. He didn’t search for her. Now that rankles! To top all of this there is constant talk about his past behavior and women. If you dont mind ow’s then I would say go for it!

This was a good read. There was a little too much catching up with the town of white mist and I wanted more scenes just between Johnny and Demi. What I really liked here was that Johnny never wavered once he reconnected with Demi. He was all in and no one was stopping him from claiming his woman and that included Demi. Love that in my hero. :) The ending was predictable, but sometimes predictability is good because you get what you're expecting. :) This was a good read. Started out good... Started put good and I liked the direction it was attempting to go, but after the 50% mark it fell short. I liked Demi, I even liked Johnny, I just don't know if I liked him for a hero. She put up a good fight but ultimately gave in way too quickly and considering everything going in her life I find it difficult to believe that she would just jump back with him. The story made it appear that she wasn't giving in, when it truth yeah she was. It took a week - no matter how many Started out good... The story made it appear that she wasn't giving in, when it truth yeah she was. It took a week - no matter how many words she says, if it takes a week I have questions. While I felt that he loved her, I thought it was a dependent love because he had tried everything else and was looking for love. The guy was clearly lost, and I don't know that either would be in a position for a normal healthy relationship like they both want. I'm sorry, but he was married 3 times - no matter how much love we have I'm not trying to be the 4th in only 2 weeks. The ex was a bit over the top. The secondary characters were too many and too annoying. Regan was super annoying. Bethany was the only one I could deal with. Only in books would someone be willing to be bff with the girls the love interest has sexed. Overall, it was just ok. I would give a 2.5.

DNF so no rating. I couldn't get past Regan (the BFF of the hero). There was something about her that just rubbed me the wrong way and all her interfering and pushing just made me want to stop reading. So I did. DNF so no rating. This is the first book I have read by this author and I liked it a lot. This is the third in a series of standalone books and I had no trouble following the story or the history of the characters without having read the first two books. I enjoyed the authors style of writing and the characters and plot were compelling - I didn't want to put the book down. I will definitely read her other books. Love this book!! I have all the books from this author. This story is third in a trilogy but I think it can be read alone. I love the characters and the storyline. I think it could have been a little longer with more background but story was fine without it. Great quick read that keeps you interested.
