A tremendous, breathtaking work of genius that grips you from the first page. I found the choice to mix the standard DC Super Heroes line with the more prestigious Nolan-Dark Knight style Bane a bit perplexing, but there are always tough editorial choices when trying to find a representative selection of Batman's missions. There could have been a little more buildup in some of the stories. A tremendous, breathtaking work of genius that grips you from the first page.
