another great Jet story, a female version of Jack Reacher regarding her lethal skills. she continues to find ways to be the best.

Jet Escape is an awesome end to an amazing series. I will miss Jet and hope to see her again in the future. It would be nice if the books were turned into movies soon.

Not the best just mediocre how do you kill an adversary and not check him for vital information, how do you go into a town after being pursued and not realize that there are vulnerable areas such as a bell tower. How do you confront an adversary who has tried to kill you twice and you don’t check him for his phone to find out who he is. These are things that personally take me out of the story and make me shake my head. I gave it a three because the storyline is good not great but I do not like the collateral damage they leave behind. The series is worth reading except for these bits, not sure I will continue you may like it though.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I am struggling with rating this book. I really love the Jet character and her bad "assedness" (not a word?) The author tells a good story, and there's lot of action and intrigue. But there's some reoccurring themes that I'm growing weary of. It always takes quite a few chapters up front to start the story, lots of it is on characters that may or may not be major characters, sometimes seems pointless to me. My biggest problem is that anybody in the book who is a "good Samaritan" and assists Jet I am struggling with rating this book. I really love the Jet character and her bad "assedness" (not a word?) My biggest problem is that anybody in the book who is a "good Samaritan" and assists Jet in her constant struggles against dangerous people, ends up tortured, dismembered, slaughtered. Just once, it would be nice for somebody to help them and live! I'm at a crossroads, after reading the first 9 books of the series, do I continue? I have that morbid curiosity to continue, but don't know if I can mentally take it anymore!

I don’t doubt when you’ve seen too much in the CIA you would be disenfranchised, why look what the Democrats stoup to in today’s world? The life Jet & Matt lead is really deplorable, what they have to do to stay alive? The people after them are some of the worst on this earth. Blake’s description of some happenings is almost too graphic. He eventually gets them to some peace and out of Havana into Kosovo. 5

Always on the Run Another nail biter... wondering which assassin would get to Jet and Matt first. On the one hand it troubles me to see, even in a novel, the brutality that some people demonstrate to keep their loathsome place in society... But, on the other hand, there are examples of selfless giving and caring from others. Such is life on earth. Jet and Matt appear to be cleaners... ridding us of some of the filth.

Notice: Library loan. I’ve read quite a few of the Jet series, so it’s okay that I read this one out of order. It’s another great story, with the usual dead bodies, family upheaval, escape from seemingly impossible situations I’ve come to really like. I’m exhausted when I finish one of Blake’s books!

After escaping from a gun battle at a Colombian monastery, Jet must risk all to evade pursuers as they hunt her and her loved ones across South America. I love this series for continuous action. Jet is always on the move and the reader never knows what's going to happen next or where they're going. The bad guys are B A D. The tension ramps up higher with Jet protecting her daughter, Hanna. I actually found myself holding my breath a few times with this book. Amazon offered 3 months of Kindle Unlimited a while back and decided this was the series I wanted to read. They are violent, so some people may not like them. To me they are some of the best I have read!

Before I say what I really dislike about this book I should say that I am a fan of the series and really like Jet as a ‘kickass’ heroine. If you are not really interested in Jet then I suppose you will find this a decent thriller. However as a Jet fan I was frustrated that she just makes guest appearances in this book, most of the book is devoted to various crime lords, crooked cops and sociopathic assassins. I accept that we need to know something about them, but why most of the book? I accept that we need to know something about them, but why most of the book? There are several other problems with the story, I can just about forgive the way the villains find it so easy to keep track of Jet and Matt and how they able to miraculously keep up with them when according to the information in the story they should be days behind. I presume it’s a way to keep the story moving quickly. However, I was really annoyed with the way Jet allowed herself and more importantly Hannah, be incarcerated in a Haiti jail. She has been doing absolutely everything to keep Hannah safe and she just allows herself to be trapped by crooked cops. This is totally out of character and completely unbelievable!

After leaving me breathless at the monastery in the eighth book, Mr. Blake revs up the story in this next installment of the JET series. How many people are out to get Jet and Matt?! It doesn't stop! The action, the intrigue, the suspense makes this another incredible book in the life of Jet and her attempts to protect her family. Awesome jet does it again Jet escape is another great read from Russel Blake. Lots of action, emotions and well paced story keeps you turning the pages. This is one of my favourite series where ex mossad special agent Jet, her ex CIA friend Matt and her daughter are being chased after by an angry drug cartel leader for killing his son. Recommended for all action loving book readers

Jet, her boyfriend Matt, and daughter Hannah continue their escape and evasion saga across South America. Professional assassins, with unlimited resources lurk around every corner. Bodies are strewn all across the landscape in Colombia, Venezuela, and parts of the Caribbean. All Jet and her companions want is to be left alone in their retirement. Will they? Only Russell Blake knows for sure.

This one was crazy! Jet and Matt barely managed to stay ahead of the people chasing them, in fact a couple of times they were caught. It's a good thing both of them had the skills needed to get them out of tight spaces. I like how this one ended, it gives me hope that maybe they can all have the HEA they so desperately want! Sometimes you have to wade through a bit of hell to find a bit of peace! Blake doesn't disappoint! The story takes us from one action-packed adventure to another. Exciting but some annoying plot turns It's hard not to be troubled by how much danger Maya puts her daughter. Seems to me that the best thing would have been to leave Hannah with her original family. It got annoying how the trio was always so surprised that their enemies caught up to them, why not use disguises? 3.5 stars. Good stuff! This is a great addition to the series. Easy reading, but some twists and speed bumps that make you pay attention so you don't miss any of the action or any clues. I'm glad that Hannah is an addition as well. She sounds like a very resilient kid. Good stuff! This is a great addition to the series. Is this the end of the series? I've read them all and enjoyed every one of them. Lots of exciting action, a main character who's beautiful and deadly and enemies who are cold-blooded murderers. What more could you ask for? Great books! Once I started, I couldn't stop reading. Is this the end of the series? I've read them all and enjoyed every one of them.
