It's non even close to Twilight's effects on me .. 🙁 And to be honest , it was good to read this but seriously I still prefer Meyer's words and I wish she was the one who completed this book . I’m glad I found this, but I’m not sure it was how Stephenie Meyer would have written Edwards version. It was written well, it was free, but I would love it to be finished by Stephenie herself. I may read the rest in the series, I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.

I am in love with the authors writing. I felt as if i was re-reading the twilight.I really liked it.I felt as if the gaps in the book by Stephanie Meyer was filled. Edward ,his word and actions seem so similar to what the real Edward Cullen would do.The book starts exactly where midnight sun ends.I can't believe that I've never heard of this book before.the truth is i didn't feel like i was reading a fan fiction. In almost all fan fictions I've read I feel that they have butchered the characters I am in love with the authors writing. Must read for every Twilight fan! I'm actually rereading all 4 PAL books now and still loving it! Don't know what is it about twilight but I love it ,always have and always will! Now,although this is fanfiction and from Edwards POV ,it's the best. It's like reading new material, there's so much blanks filled in where Stephanie M. didn't bother to elaborate.(or couldn't ,it being a teen book) I actually prefer Lassiter's writing style as well! I think Lassiter is really good at staying true to Meyer's writing style and Edward's voice. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a finish to Midnight Sun. I read this series a couple years ago but I plan to re-read them over the next couple of months. I think Lassiter is really good at staying true to Meyer's writing style and Edward's voice. Even though it was written by someone other than Stephenie I don't care. It was brilliant and I intend to read all the rest in the series. The story from Edwards POV was way better than Bella's. Excellent writer. best part of this fan fiction is that is free! check it out. You might find that you like Lassiter's writing at times better than Meyer's herself. So I’m not gonna compare this to the real one since that’s wholly unfair. Though I kinda wish I had finished this before reading the official Midnight Sun. But I digress. All in all, this was a pretty good interpretation of what a continuation of Meyer’s fist draft was. Some stuff bugged me: a bit of underutilization of Edward’s telepathy and Alice’s visions, Edward not watching the tape (because, come on, he’s a self-loathing masochist -of course he watched the tape) and the first time he hears So I’m not gonna compare this to the real one since that’s wholly unfair. Again, my opinions as a fan. The writing itself was very well done. You can tell the author truly cares and respects the source material (even if there’s a few continuity errors here and there) which is all I ask for in my fan fiction. I will be continuing on with the rest and let’s see how that goes.

The whole twilight series is somewhat fine. But I remember the version I'd read once was with Bella and Jacob reviewing their past. the book is nice but the books I'd like to suggest if somebody really wants to read an adult-fiction and fantasy then one must read 'Eleanor& Park' by Rainbow Rowell. I am currently rereading the original series since Midnight Sun releases in 25 days! While on goodreads i stumbled upon the Midnight Sun 2008 Draft and P.A Lassiter's Edward point of views and decided to give it a try! Cheers to P.A Lassiter! Hey, if Stephenie Meyer won't finish it, this is the next best thing for now. Parts of it were done pretty well but many parts didn't really feel like Edward's voice. And to be fair, the last half of the book (mainly the part with James) isn't my favorite to begin with. Hey, if Stephenie Meyer won't finish it, this is the next best thing for now. I wish I would have allowed myself to read this sooner, it's pretty good! Not as good as the real midnight sun but still a very nice read. I wish I would have allowed myself to read this sooner, it's pretty good! Not as good as the real midnight sun but still a very nice read.

I did not think I would like this 2nd part to Edwards version of Twilight. This is definitely a must read for lovers of the Twilight series!

Again, pleasantly surprised by the writing. Though I am a little concerned that Meyers may be too close to this when she finally releases her actual full version in August.
