Overall Good For Children ish I read this book in around 5 minutes. The vocabulary is limited to a few reoccurring words and makes the books very repetitive and in general boring. One such example of that is ' creep' or worlds that have 'creep ' in them. There are around 60 words that contain such and I find that there are other synonyms that would make this book much better. This book seems almost forced by the author and in general makes me cringe. I enjoy the unique ending but the rest of the Overall Good For Children ish I read this book in around 5 minutes. My daughter and I read this together today and wow. Yeah...she was entertained at least. The main issue I found, having read hundreds of stories, was the lack of editing performed on this short story. The fact that this was a SHORT STORY and still have errors...yeah, I'm not really sure what that tells ya, but for me, bad news! Examples: 1. "As soon as I opened my eyes, I could see his why." What's wrong I don't know what age group this story was geared towards? Little kids? Maybe under 10? IDK. My daughter and I read this together today and wow. Yeah...she was entertained at least. The main issue I found, having read hundreds of stories, was the lack of editing performed on this short story. The fact that this was a SHORT STORY and still have errors...yeah, I'm not really sure what that tells ya, but for me, bad news! Examples: 1. "As soon as I opened my eyes, I could see his why." What's wrong with that sentence? 2. "I wished I had arms so I could throw my creepy limb around them and just hug them!" Sorry but that sentence doesn't sound like it's written by someone who either doesn't care what they're writing, like it's all just about the money, which is most likely the case here. Or English is not their first language. 3. "The person turned around slowly around and a look of pure creeped out...." No need to finish that one, the mistake should be obvious. 4. "I chased them as far as I could, to tell him..." Again, it starts off with Creeper chasing more than one person (them), so it going back to the singular person that was actually in the story (Steve). Again I guess this was written for smaller kids? My daughter is 13 and loves Minecraft and even she noticed the mistakes.
