If you are looking for a good devotional for Women, this is it. I started this book on January 1, 2013 and finished it today December 31, 2013. I was amazed at how many times while reading this devotional it spoke directly to me. I felt I was not on life's journey alone. I have had my eyes opened, I have been chastised to do better, I have felt love and understanding. I love how God uses a book to speak to you. This devotional will Bless you each and every day. This was a wonderful devotional that gave me a deeper glimpse into the life of one Biblical woman a day. It was hopeful and humbling to find ways I connected to these women from so long ago because we share the love of a Creator that is the same today.

Women are truly underestimated and for some only briefly mention or even ignored in the Bible. Like most Christian self-help authors, the author tended to emphasize her views of the Bible onto her text and she also expressed personal stories as well. That cost her a star. The author also recycled some Bible verses as well and not every day has a verse but rather a question. That's what cost her the other star. It's a pretty average book.
