What a big disappointment! Tommy and Grace not together??? Are you kidding me??? I didn't feel any connection with Liz and Tommy, I don't even like her, their relationship was all about sex...ugh!!! The plot was just horrible, lesbian trying to kill Tommy because she thinks he's taking her woman......geez. Not interested in reading any more of Tommy books, unless he gets back with Grace.

Okay, I love IRs and BWWM romances, and I like this author very much. However, this book was disappointing. Yep, Liz is a ride or die chick but this book doesn't make her human, relatable, and understandable. Grace, Tommy's ex wife, was soft, feminine, trusting, naive and this created a nice contrast to all the hard characters in this series. Liz is just more of the same old same old. And, Tommy is a character that hasn't changed since the start of the series. While the first few books in the mob boss and Gabrini men series were interesting the series, including this book, are now trite and formulaic. Someone attacks or threatens someone in the Gabrini family or their circle, the Gabrinis circle the wagon, their women are tough and down for the ride, the men claim not to be mobsters while knee deep in the mob ànd mob tactics, and the Gabrini family always triumphs. After eight or more books and counting it could be time to pull the plug on the Gabrini men, their mob ways, and the women who love them.

SO BORING!!!! This is the worst one yet. I just couldn't finish reading this book and I have read the entire mob boss and friends series. Tommy and Grace are divorced, Sweet Grace is married to a republican neurosurgeon,BORING Liz what did you do Ms. Monroe? I am speechless. I want my money back. I am so done with this series!

I Think I Like Tommy Again... This is probably my favorite Tommy Gabrini book in the series. Not because he’s matured in the way of women, but because he’s finally met his match in Liz Logan! I LOVE HER! She’s intelligent. She’s observant. She’s kick-ass. But more importantly, she is time enough for Thomas Gabrini! She puts Shoshana Shanks and Grace what’s her name to shame! She is everything Tommy wants and needs in a woman because she knows the deal. She doesn’t back down from a fight-whether it’s for her company. Her dignity. Her man. Or her life. Liz is the perfect match for Tommy. She has the mental and emotional toughness that Grace seriously lacked while still possessing the feminine softness that Shanks could never dream of. Liz knew when to take over and when to let a man be a man, and that is why she and Tommy will last. Now you know this would not be a Mallory Monroe story without some drama. She never ceases to amaze me with these characters who come out of the woodwork to start some shit with our couples! This time it’s not about one or more of Tommy’s conquests, but Liz’s fuckbuddies. She is the true female counterpart to Tommy. She put the whip appeal on him. Got him sending his plane to pick her up and drop her off whenever and wherever she needs to be. Got him signing business papers without reading them first. Got him going in raw after the first encounter! What’s her name? L-I-Z L-O-G-A-N! This story was also filled with steamy romance and funny interludes. Chile, when Liz got off the plane and ran to Tommy like Whitney did Bobby when he got out of jail, I FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR, I was laughing so damn hard. And only Tommy Gabrini could gather all his hoes together like a GS summit and tell them look, it was good while it lasted but I’m trading all you dimes in for this golden dollar… Love Mallory Monroe and the Gabrini clan. Now, he just needs to wife her up properly and start making some siblings for Destiny.

So did not expect this book to open with a bang. Kind of feeling how Ms. Monroe is starting with the ending then bringing us up to speed. Okay, I will say it again. I love these Gabrini men. I love Tommy's alpha male with helping of sensitivity. I am so not feeling the Liz or Ed for that matter. Grace pissed me off in this book. She knows how important Tommy's daughter is to him and she let's her rebound husband (yes, I know she left Tommy, but she still loves him, I don't care what she says.) talk her into limiting Tommy's visits with his child. Girl should have known Tommy was not going to hear or see that. Liz reminds me too much of Tommy's ex ShoShawna. I have to admit girl know what she like when she see Tommy. Sal is too much for me (he cracks me up). Liz came with her own type of drama and she didn't have a clue. I wonder how Sal explained to Gemma about her sister, or did he. Well, I for one am not feeling the relationship between Tommy and Liz, I was really rooting for him and Grace to go the distance. Frankly how could Grace leave Tommy? He gave her and out and she did not take it. So now my question is will Tommy and Liz go the distance or will Tommy be singing along with Lenny Williams to Grace?

Okay this is more like it, a grown up Tommy!!!! I think Grace leaving Tommy and him finding another woman he wants to love has helped him to mature. Tommy does things differently this time around, thank God. He gathers together all his lady friends and let them know that Liz is in his life now and they better all back off and respect her or else. That is what he should have done for Grace. At least he is learning from his mistakes this time around. Liz Logan is a different woman to Grace. Too Predictable I have read almost all the books in this series, I really want to love them but I just can't. These books are so very predictable, not to mention it's the same plot,in every book. Wow!!!- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB This is the most exciting Tommy Gabrini story to date. It has taken me on an unexpected journey with so many twist and turns; it made my head spin. After Tommy's divorce from Grace, he swore off being in a committed relationship, but that was until he met Liz. Even though he tried to fight it, he had to give in especially when Liz proved repeatedly that she had his back. I love their journey and hope to read more about it in the future.

I love Ms. Monroe's heroines and I loove Liz Logan. She is a step-up from Grace. She is her own woman, secure in who she is, and she steps up to the plate. Tommy gets it right this time with a woman who holds her own. What I didn't like was the plot behind all the ruckus in this book. It was reaching just a bit too much for me, but it still held my attention as all this author books do. Definitely recommend this book.

Some of the same I don't know how many do overs i can take with Tommy. Showdowns then Grace. I can understand Grace having enough I hope she stays sane in her new marriage. liz seems to be all things Grace was not however I'm not feeling liz at all. Destiny was a cutie pie would like to have some n more interactions.. the stripping nAnny scene was to much.

Another great installment of the Gabrini Men series. Tommy Gabrini is a man who has been to hell and back...Through the fire, the water and around the world. I am actually enjoying this rebirth of Tommy, the Phoenix rising out of the ashes. What we are seeing is a healed man. In Tommy's first story we read a man who seemed to have had it all together. I am actually enjoying this rebirth of Tommy, the Phoenix rising out of the ashes. What we are seeing is a healed man. In Tommy's first story we read a man who seemed to have had it all together. He was debonair, suave, intelligent and not to be trifled with. In his own story he meets a woman, falls in love and eventually marries her. It appeared that Tommy had achieved his dreams. But then there came a brutal and crashing reality check and that was Tommy was a very flawed and broken man. Also so was Grace and two broken people cannot have anything healthy, it will just lead to more brokenness. In Tommy's fourth book we see that he is now a dad to his precious daughter Destiny and he is now divorced from Grace. They have both moved on with Grace eventually remarrying and Tommy back out in the field, as far as he is concerned he is not looking to ever be in a permanent relationship again. But oftentimes life has other plans for us and in this case, a woman by the name of Liz Logan shows up on the scene and totally knocks Tommy off of his feet. Tommy meets Liz at Sal's in-laws wedding anniversary celebration, she came with Gemma's sister Chelse and they are best friends. There is an ugly blow up at the house between Chelse and her dad (which I really need for the author to clarify what was her douche's dad problem with her) where Tommy came to her aid when she left the house with Liz. There was a physical attraction between the two but it was just satisfying the physical between two people and then going their separate ways. Tommy was certain and Liz was certain that it is just a one time thing and that's it. As the fates would have it, those two kept meeting and crossing paths until eventually the fighting that they were both doing began to wane. Tommy came through for her in ways no one has ever come through for Liz and Liz came through for Tommy in ways no other woman ever had including his ex-wife. Now don't get me wrong I liked Grace and was rooting for them to make it. But the truth of the matter was they weren't right for each other. They both came into each other lives for a season and it was not meant to last between them. Liz Logan is proving to be quite the woman for Tommy. Tommy is used to taking care of everything but he met someone who is independent and not so willing to hand over the reigns for someone else to lead her. Liz Logan is a successful business owner and a former war correspondent, she can definitely hold her own and that is what excites and kind of frustrates Tommy lolll!!! But she is exactly who he needs and he is exactly who she needs. These two I believe are going to make it and if you don't believe me, just wait and see how Liz handles herself and handles her man. She wears the term Ride and Die Chick for Tommy Gabrini proudly and makes no apologies about it. I absolutely love her for Tommy Woot! Woot! Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!

On one hand I hated how she jumped all over what happened with Grace. It's probably in another story but these don't seem to really touch up on too much detail like you'd like when reading the others. Still not sure what the deal with Rodney and Chelsey was but I'd really like to find out the details but I'm guessing we'll find out in Sal's story. But again, you don't really get the details she tends to brush it a bit but goes on to something else. Not bad but I still want to know. I'm guessing there will be some blow back with Rizzo, at least I hope it will be because I can read these on and on. Grace I think showed her ass in this one but Liz showed out! I really like her, she's kind of like Shanks but in a good way when it comes to Tommy. I hope drama pops up with Ed but I'm hoping it's on a send her with her father because we have our own family type of situation. I'm wishing in the next one Tommy settles down, he's steady running around and I thought with his daughter he'd stick around more but not in this one. It's time for a change and in the next one he needs to really step up and take a seat. Sal, Sal, Sal! I can't wait for his story because he has become my favorite out of the two. I'm really wanting to know what his deal is on the mob boss side but I'm also wondering what's the deal with the house situation. I can't wait for the next one!

But in true Reno fashion he makes his presence known. This book is also geared to set up Sal's next book and the implications of what is going to be a issue/ problem in his own marriage. My major pet peeve is that Mallory Monroe keeps recycling names. There is Liz Logan and Liz (from Trina's store) Carmine and the other Carmine ( Reno's dead brother-in-law) and etc.... And Destiny no 2 1/2 year old talks like a 9 year old, I know this is a work of fiction but gimme a break. This book is fairly short and will be read in about 2 hours or less. Should ideally be priced at $2.99 for an E-book, but that is a story for another day.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I love Liz! She's the type of woman Tommy needs and she perfect for him. I just wish she would press her hair. She just deteriorated in my eyes at the very beginning. She got everything she wanted out that marriage, the company, the money, the kid, the house, etc. I just have zero respect for her at this point. She's gotta go. I just didn't feel the usual heat of drama in this one. It just didn't compare to all the others. I'm mean look at what happened at the club in the last Mob Boss. The heat just wasn't up to par this time.

Love the cover I loved this book. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm thinking we read different book. Tommy and Grace got a divorce. Nothing new if you kept up with the series. Grace had already left Tommy when Trina was shot. She was afraid for her baby. Tommy knew he lost Grace because he kept her sheltered. I especially loved the way Tommy handled Grace and her new husband when they tried to separate him and his daughter because they got married. This book wasn't really my cup of tea but it was still okay. Tom and Liz... Grace and Ed... I didn't enjoy that so I basically shifted through the book. Quite annoyed that Tommy didn't shoe Grace the same courtesy in sitting his women down and inform them about his relationship. Plus I was annoyed with Grace for the ignorance she and her husband was saying to Tommy as it relates to Destiny. Love bad ass Reno and Sal of course... However the book was a so so for me

Tommy Gabrini Really loved Tommy#4! The best of all of Tommy's personal storyline. Grace wanted out and he found Liz who is better for him! I'm going to enjoy Liz! This is Mallory's story and her vision. If she had left Grace as Tommy's wife I would have dealt with it as I had been doing. I'm pleased with the new direction. Thank you.

Another Hit Keeping with the conscious I wish Tommy and Grace would have made it to, but since they couldn't I'm glad he found a strong black women to take her place. Was hoping for a little more blood and Gore. But I'm still a "Gabrinni" family fan. Can't wait for the next installment
