if you believe animals and humans can be best friends, then this book is for you. If you don't believe that, read this book and you will be amazed at the heroic feats of Lulu the Kangaroo who saved her owner's life. Maggie and Pilot who not only gave love to their owners but one was the eyes and the other the ears and worked so well as a team that no one knew one dog was blind and the other dog deaf. And pigs? Three amazing stories of hogs who rescue, protect and help children with special needs if you believe animals and humans can be best friends, then this book is for you. Fascinating! I learned so much about kangaroos and pot bellied pigs. My favorite animal was the potbellied pig Buttercup who helped bring an autistic child out of his shell. These stories show how animals and humans can share a beautiful bond. It made me appreciate and view animals in a new way.
