Third book in the Children Of The Lion series and another strong book in this series. Strong and vivid characterizations are the best thing about these novels as the author puts you into this ancient Egyptian world and you feel like everything described is easily plausible. Enjoying this series immensely and highly recommend this one. Originally read in 1985 and re-read in 1995. 4 out of 5 stars

I rated this book with 3 stars but it could be 4 stars. The books are written as a very interesting story -- the bible story as seen thru the eyes of the Children of the Lion. The history of the children of the lion seems to be tied to the major characters of the bible. But be warned, the series totals 16 books. And you may get hooked!

I love Biblical History fiction stories! Peter Danielson captures the soul and spirit of the people and their era with zeal and enduring spirit! I plan to read the whole series this year!

Third in the series, slightly better than the first two. If historical biblical fiction is your thing you will probably like this.
