    This book was less good than I had expected it to be. I thought the alphabetical organization of the poems was not the best way to organize this book. It would have been nice to put the poems in chronological order so that you could see the evolution of the love poem throughout history. Now, on to the poems themselves. Some of them are very well known poems that every student who has ever had so much as a brief introduction to poetry will have heard of. Others are less well known.
