This is definitely on my top ten list of books about anal sex, or top 20 at the very least. I don't think that I could have made it through to the age of twelve without it as my girlfriend was getting a little bored with our intimate life back in grade school. As you all know, lubrication is of the utmost importance so it was great to see my once deplorable childhood habit of spitting come in so handy. I found especially useful the chapter entitled, "Making the most of fruits and vegetables." Ser This is definitely on my top ten list of books about anal sex, or top 20 at the very least. I found especially useful the chapter entitled, "Making the most of fruits and vegetables." Seriously, is this a real book? I just came across it randomly here on Goodreads and thought I'd give it one of my non-read reviews. If it is a real book, it would be perfect for Mother's Day or perhaps as a first communion gift.

No shame in my game! I defy you to find a more comprehensive resource on the subject. As always Tristan Taormino hits all the bases and manages to keep it sexy while doling out super practical information. A+

This is another great anal sex how-to book, this one (as I'm sure you've figured out from the title) focused on women. Once again, "sex" doesn't necessarily mean intercourse, so this book offers information on a lot of different activities that fit under the broader umbrella. This book is a must-read for women who want to have whatever form of anal sex, as well as for partners who want to have it with them. Here's what I said about this book in my women's sexuality reading list: The illustrations by Fish rock! I love to see cartoon type folks getting down and dirty, hot and heavy. The text is by Tristan Taormino, a woman who knows and loves anal sex. Tristen clears up "10 Myths About Anal Sex" in chapter 1 and continues on with "Anal Health," "Tools of the Trade," analingus, masturbation, "Anal Penetration," "Shaving and Enemas," and "Anal Fisting." There are also eleven pages of resources. This book made a believer out of me.

Believe it or not, Ripley, but I read this for research. For a book. No kidding. I was curious what pleasure there is for the gals in this sort of tabooy bidness. I wanted to see if D.H. Lawrence's description in LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER had any valence with the womenz. The best compliment I can give is that I learned a lot. Oddly enough, I've had several friends ask to borrow it. So much for the tabooy.

Disclosure: It would be a surprise to have such a book in my shelves, I mean since it was designed for women, but I manage to call that book a sexual guide to Anal sex. I choose to have it since Tristan Taormino decides to make sexual education go toward a healthy and happy sexual life. I have this book in eBook format. I choose to have it since Tristan Taormino decides to make sexual education go toward a healthy and happy sexual life. I have this book in eBook format. My Plot: "I have to say from the first that I am going to be so open, so please don't get offended". In the beginning of the book Tristan took the subject of "Anal Sex" from a social and religious point of view. She made some researches about sodomy and why it was forbidden according to the three religions, she discusses the social point of view of "Anal Sex" from different dimensions, than she moves to her confessions, she said that she "went crazy the time someone put a finger in her anus" - Sorry for this expressions but it's a quotation from the book. Tristan than.. decides to make some explorations to this orifice, actually the information that she states about anal orifice were so amazing. In the upcoming chapters, she discusses several matters that relates to this subject including Enemas, Anal plays and Beads, Dildos, and what is the right way to use them. In addition some recommendations for the best positions to this "Anal sex" - So sorry again for the explicit language - The last thing she spoke of is "Fisting" - Oh again - in addition to some testimonies made by people who practice this act. Positive and Negative Aspects: The Guide to Anal Sex is a kind of new form of books. So it would be surprising for the reader to find some quotes about "Anal Sex" at the margins of each page, or find out some written experience about people who practice this act, The photographs inside the book were so classical, and they get to the point. Another amazing thing was that Tristan were so hard working to bring the idea that "Anal Sex is not a sin, so according to her, it's a sexual enjoyment that everybody need to explore it, and benefit from its pleasure. My Personal View: I want to say that I am still a "Virgin" and I don't feel the shame of it at all. "May be I consider it as Chastity" But I would love to say that these kind of books are quite stranger to me, the fact is that I benefit a lot from the experiences inside the book; and I hold my position as a beneficent from these references, but the main point that I see Tristan insisting on is "Lubrication". Actually this word is running through the whole of book. Meaning that without lubrication there would be no pleasure, "That's what I have in mind from this book". Apart from this I hold no objection toward the contents inside that book at all, and that's the reason why I put all these five in the voting block. Recommendations: The Book is a sexual reference, so it is forbidden for the people under the age of puberty to have it, due to its explicit language and direct images that demonstrate the "Anal Subject". Apart from this, the book is so useful in order to benefit from its information on the subject of "Healthy Sex".

I am very stingy with my 5 star reviews, and I did not think that any sort of guidebook would receive one, if not only because I reserve them for books that gave me a thoroughly enjoying reading experience. Yes, this guidebook is super informative -- Tristan is often revered as the queen of anal sex, but it was also just a flat out great, digestible read. This is a respectably hefty volume that not only covers what we traditionally think of as "anal sex", but tutorials to make various butt plug harnesses (!), enema use, etc. She answers some FAQs throughout the book, I had most of my "ah-ha!" moments here. Also, there are some seriously adorably retro illustrations throughout the book, preserved from the first edition; so you can reminisce about 90s tattoo fads while learning about positions for making the butt most accessible.

Tristan Taormino has produced an excellent, accessible book demystifying anal eroticism and how to enjoy anal play. She covers so many topics that one is hard-pressed to think about what she's missing: anatomy, the emotional and psychological aspects of anal sex, how to discuss anal desires with your partner, safer sex, how to warm up the anus for play, lubricant, toys, positions, bdsm, health concerns, and even a brief section on anal pleasure for men, among others. The illustrations by Fish are wonderful without being clinical and dry. Informative, concisely-written, and helpful.

This book is a complete waste of money. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything else. I just figure it doesn't hurt to be educated. So, this book ended up on my radar after having to remove a "lost butt plug" from a patient late one night in the ER. It took about 5 minutes into my conversation with this patient to realize there's an entire world of activities, that people engage in, that I have almost no knowledge of. I got this through the library a few years ago, along with The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Men, to do a bit of compare and contrast. While I didn't find the answer to my technical question/theory, I was just reminded the other night of something I learned from this book that I wasn't expecting. Tristan goes into the technique she's taught herself for keeping her ass shaved, and says that without any hair in the crack, there's nothing to keep one's farts silent. There was some useful info in this book, but not a lot of stories from folks who tried it and liked it. There was sort of a step by step, but honestly I've not tried any of them so I can't even share how it went.

I swear I learned more about rectal and anal health in this book than I ever did in any high school health class. Including STDs and other health complications.
