Once childhood sweethearts, but being naive went on their own ways when they grew up, but once they got mature, returned back to each other with whom their hearts really belong. This book gives us hope that life can be better, after a very bad storm and restores our faith and takes us on a journey of a girl named Hope, who brings hope in so many people's lives. This is a story about an extraordinary woman fighting to save a child from being sexually harassed by drowning her own reputation in the face of the world. A story that is bound to touch millions of hearts! Thanks to the author, Olivia Hardin, for giving me an opportunity to read and review her book. The opening scene of the book is where Hope is asking for lump sum of money from her best friend, Mark, but asks him not to question her intentions and only to trust her. Soon, her face is plastered all over the town's newspaper stating that she has been accused of kidnapping a few months old baby girl from Taggarts home, named Michelle and that the authorities have claimed that she and the baby have drowned while trying to cross the river. But Bren, her ex, smells the foul play in the whole piece of news and marches off to Hope's best friend, Mark's home, demanding the truth about her. Soon Bren takes off and leaves behind his work, home and life everything to help protect her situation. Hope notices the change in his eyes that once promiscuous, but now all changed and mature; Bren really loves her and cares for her and the baby. They run from one county to another, finally settling down in Bren's mom's cottage. But who knows the local town soon-to-be-retired, sheriff has also smelt the foul play in the whole story and so he starts digging up. Well to find out what happened next, you have to find it out by yourself. This is not only about a woman trying to save a little baby, but also a story of a family reunion, a family which Bren never thought it existed. Also how life is all about second chances. This is a story that is sure going to change your perspective on life. Hope is the character that you are bound to fall in love with. A scared yet strong, daring and brave woman, who kidnaps a baby, and changes her identity to protect and also (view spoiler)[after getting caught how she still held her stand so firmly without any fear in heart to save the baby. (hide spoiler)] Bren is handsome and caring and protective man who loves Hope to death. Mark stands as one true and loyal friend who holds her secret till the very end. And rest of the characters like Bren’s uncle and cousins, each one of them are well-developed and well-described. The chemistry between Hope and Bren is something to look out for. From the first day of their hideout, they had a strong undercurrent running between them. After going with so much, Bren never ever leaves Hope's side even for a single moment and how he manages to make Hope believe that he has indeed changed. Their undeniable chemistry is quite evident from the moment they find each other and thus it keeps them together strong till the very end. The writing is flawless and perfect and I really loved how the author has unfolded the chemistry as well as the mystery of kidnapping very slowly. Thus making the story very intriguing and interesting. Wondering how one can go to this extent to save somebody else’s baby, then you have to read this book for sure.

What I found refreshing about the relationships in this book was that there were no excuses and no secrets - honesty all the way through, even the painful ones. Be it at movies or in books, I love a good romantic story that would make my heart race. Now add to that a touch of mystery and adventure and I’ll definitely be squealing in delight. When I started reading All for Hope I did not know what to expect. I was intrigued with the blurb and the cover really got me but I wasn’t entirely sure it as my “kind of book”. But, what the heck, I decided to read it anyway and I couldn’t stop. The main character, Hope Sheffield, is someone who is selfless, pensive, determined and independent. She has a strong, fiery personality and a lot of guts. The plot of the book – what she did – isn’t something you see or even read about every day. This is one of those things that will astonish you and will really get to you and make you question things and wonder. What I love most about Hope is she’s just that – hope. A ray of light that will keep you believing and afloat and make you hold on even if things seem impossibly hard. Hope has this magnetic, alive personality that would pull you in and make you feel. She’s very genuine and unpretentious that one can’t help but admire her. I enjoyed reading the book a lot. I rarely come across a book that I’m hesitant to read but end up liking it unexpectedly. The story just flew effortlessly and well. And the transition between the characters was just as good. The best part about the book is the characters. They will inexplicably draw you in with their dynamic, quirky, alluring personality. They were equally well-rounded and very fun to read. The Rawleys especially are my favorite. They have unique, charismatic personalities that make them stand out. Reading about them was never dull and they sure are an amusing lot. The second best part about the book? Brennan and Hope. Their relationship isn’t an easy one. With each other, they’re never sure of what would happen next or if things would work out or if is it worth another heartbreak. Brennan Rawley isn’t exactly prince charming material. With his gorgeous, to-fall-for smile and charming personality, it’s easy to fall for him and get your heart broken. He’s a secretive person who would rather burden himself with things rather than open up to someone. He can be very sweet and infuriating at the same time. But what I liked most about Brennan is that he does things so out of his character that would make you question if he really is the kind of person you think he is. The romance between Hope and Brennan is slow and sweet and passionate. They had a past that didn’t work out so well and this made them both skeptical about admitting what they still obviously feel for each other. All for Hope is a book I recommend everyone to read. All parts drama, adventure, humor and romance, this book will make you question things and believe in what people can do and how good they can be. It makes you realize that people do change and that love – true love – no matter how painful can be very beautiful and worth all the heartbreak in the world. I received a free ebook copy of the book as part of the blog tour.

I really felt like the entire ending was unbelievable. She kidnapped a kid and everyone jumps through her hoops, I am a fan of happy endings, but this one seemed so forced. I think I would have liked it more if instead of opening up all the new story arches they just focused on trying to prove the abuse. I kind of felt cheated, like this entire journey could have been avoided with one accusation of abuse. For the most part it is a good story. It is sweet and a little cheesy. I just really struggled with the ending.

I really wanted to like this book. The premise was good but it was hard to get into it. The beginning was confusing, the story drawn out too much to keep my interest to know what happened to make this woman kidnap a baby not hers and for this boy to just go along with her. They have a past. There's something obviously major there but what is it? Random flashbacks thrown in here and there only serve to frustrate and confuse further. DNFing @ 43% due to this being the kind of inane cutesy bullshit my grandmother read in her Mills & Boon novels. It's all twee and pretty and the heroine is this perfect little Catholic girl with a sad story apart from, you know, that she's a total nutcase. Like, oh, just about anyone who thinks that that synopsis makes perfect sense. Or any sense at all. I can only assume that kidnapping babies and faking her own death is all in a day's work for our Hope though as her friends act as though it's DNFing @ 43% due to this being the kind of inane cutesy bullshit my grandmother read in her Mills & Boon novels. I really enjoyed this book, it was an all feel good around type of book for me with a happily ever after and I love happily ever afters! What I didn't like about this book was how fast it went, there were some scenes where I would have enjoyed it to be played out but the way it was written still flowed well with the story. I have never read a plot line like this before so I thought it was unique and I enjoyed going on this adventure with Brennan and Hope as well as baby Michelle. From page 1, yo I really enjoyed this book, it was an all feel good around type of book for me with a happily ever after and I love happily ever afters! From page 1, you are left wondering what is going on with Hope because it starts off with her showing up at a friend's house, asking for help. From the minute I read those first few pages, I knew I was in for one hell of a ride. This book alternates in different character POVs, mainly in Hope's, Brennan's, and a detective we meet later on in the book. The detective is in charge of Hope's case and he's one of those detectives who just won't give up until he's found the answer. I always enjoyed reading alternating POVs because it's always interesting to look into their minds to see what they're thinking. What I enjoyed about this book as well was the character progression. You get to see how much the characters change over the course of the book, although we do see glimpses of their past, it would have been interesting to learn more about their past. I always enjoy seeing how much the characters grow throughout the book because once I get to the end, I always think to myself, wow that could not have been them in the beginning! As for the romance, it's one of those romances where the two characters love each other, but something always prevents them from getting together or it's just not the right time or something. But once the two characters get together, you get plenty of feels! I enjoyed the romance in this book and seeing Brennan and Hope's past together be unraveled to us and to see them traveling together, let's just say, it's hard to remember you're a fugitive when you find a stable place to stay and when you're with the one you love. The ending..like I said earlier, it's a happily ever after with many feels, and that's all I will say to that! Oh and after reading the book, the title fits the book really well, because this book is all about sacrifices and the choices we make, all for the one that we love. THE CHARACTERS: I honestly thought the characters were in their New Adult age, but as I started to read the book to its entirety, I was wrong. They're, I believe, around their 30's or even older than that, so just a heads up for whoever reads this book! Hope- In the beginning of the book, Hope has suffered a lot of emotional pain and once she sees Brennan again, it takes her some time to trust him again and to open up to him because they have such a deep history together. She's afraid that if she lets him in, it will open up old wounds and I have to say, I'm starting to like this type of personality in characters. Where they close off everyone because they don't want to get hurt again, but once that person comes along to get them to open up, you have your love story. I respect Hope a lot for what she did, I would never have the guts to kidnap a baby! You do find out why she does this and it made me respect her a lot for taking care of her friend's baby. You see Hope transform from this normal woman to a mother as she has to take care of not only herself while on the run but of Michelle as well. I would have liked to learn more about her past, but what she reveals in the book was pretty interesting as well. I felt that with what happened with Hope in her past and in the present, she was always meant to be a mother. Brennan- I think out of all the characters, Brennan was the one that changed the most throughout the book and was the character that I enjoyed seeing transform the most, from what we learned about him and his past as well as the present. You can tell he loves Hope a lot, as a friend and even more than that, and it's not only because he drops everything to go after her. The fact that he does drop his whole life to go after Hope, that's the start of his character progression. You also meet baby Michelle, and who doesn't love babies in books? They're so adorable! You also meet Hope's good friend, Mark. He plays a big role in Hope's life and to help her run away once she gets a hold of Michelle. Those are basically the main characters, you also meet some of Brennan's family, but I won't say too much about that because they play a big part in this story as well. You also meet the detective I mentioned earlier, and all I will say about that is that the police closed the case because they assumed Hope and Michelle were dead, but this detective knew that they were still alive, so we follow his POV as well. OVERALL: I would definitely recommend this book, I really enjoyed it from start to finish and the story line is so unique, to me anyways, because I've never read a story line like this before. And it was a fun, adorable, heartfelt type of book, and if you're into that stuff, this book is the book for you! I also really enjoyed the message behind the book about making sacrifices and how it is all worth it in the end! I really enjoyed going on this adventure with Hope and Brennan as well as baby Michelle and I hope you do too!

I’ve been coming across a lot of these lately and I’ve gotta say, they’re quickly becoming my favorite ones to read. The idea of two people who at a younger stage in their lives not being ready for love and then coming across it years later, even more powerful than it was when they were younger *sighs* it’s a beautiful thing. This book has this in spades. Hope and Brennan were best friends as kids (along with their friend Jim) and even at one point old flames, having tried and failed at being together in a way other than friendship. They knew each other inside and out. Hope in love with Brennan for years. Brennan knowing about it but not wanting to foster it, choosing instead to go down a path that lead to nothing but personal destruction (drinking, drugs, other women etc). That all changes when Hope asks him to walk away in an effort to protect her heart from any further pain and he does it. Flash forward a whole bunch of years. Both of them having taken very different paths in life and coming across each other in the most random of ways. Brennan at a standstill in his life, especially where relationships are concerned and Hope, in an effort to do the right thing by a small child, on the run and breaking the law. I enjoyed Hope and Brennan. Both the way they were when they were younger and the older versions of themselves. I bonded with them both rather easily, but I have to say, I had a softer spot for Hope in this. I understood Brennan, even when he was at his worst. Not realizing what was right there in front of him and making mistakes. What he was driven by during his younger years and even a lot as an adult, it was very understandable but Hope, it was just an instant click. Her wanting to do the right thing by someone she counselled and by the young child in question, even if she had to break the law in order to do it, I just sympathized, understood and loved her for it. In fact, the way she is an adult is a lot of the way she’s shown as being when she was younger. She still wanted to do right by everyone she cared about (as shown with Brennan in flashbacks) so it was nice to see that it carried over into her adulthood. She changed, we all do, but the core things about her that made her the amazing person she was, well, they stayed the same. I loved the buildup to the romance here. They didn’t just jump right back into love. Brennan spent a good portion of this book just wanting to do right by Hope. Protect her and the baby. He was denying what was taking place between them while all of this happened of course, but it wasn’t something automatic. When it did happen though, I was so ready for it and it was a beautiful thing. So sweet and so well written that I believed in them actually working out as a couple. I believed in them so much that at times, I often forget that the baby with them wasn’t actually theirs. It was just a perfect family dynamic and melted my heart at times. The addition of Brennan’s family that until now he’s never known was also a nice touch. I had issues with them at first, a lot like him in not wanting to trust them or their motivations, especially considering the situation that Hope and him found themselves in and how imperative it was for her identity to remain a secret. But as it turns out, I was just paranoid like him. This family was exactly what he needed and by the time I turned the last page, it was a family I was so thankful they both found. Especially his uncle. Lol I’m still laughing hours after I finished over the way he was. The only issue I had with this that I had a really hard time overlooking was how neatly it all ended up. With Hope and Michelle (along with Brennan) being on the run, I would have expected a bigger climax than what I was given. Or at least one that played out longer. I mean, the story itself had the ending one would want, but I didn’t get the thankful rush I would have expected from something like this (think holding your breath, afraid of how it’s going to turn out and then breathing a heavy sigh of relief when it does and you’ll get what I mean). Otherwise, this story was paced well, it moved quickly but not so much you felt as though you were missing something as you were reading and the writing was extremely well done. It was the perfect sweet little second chance romance and one that I’m so glad I took a chance on reading.

I read this one as part of the Red Hot Lovers Box Set. This was a new to me author and I was looking forward to the story after reading the blurb. This was a new to me author and I was looking forward to the story after reading the blurb. The story jumps right in with Hope coming late at night to her friend Mark and asking for his help and his discretion. She needs ready cash to get out of town no questions asked. Their friendship is something a bit more, but had to stop with friendship because Mark is married. He gladly turns over the funds Hope needs and watches her disappear into the night. Brennan is stopped at a gas station with his annoying girlfriend when he encounters someone from his past. Hope is startled to see him and even fearful. He doesn't know what to make of her quick request that he forget he saw her. But Brennan can't forget even after he has a long overdue break up with the latest girlfriend. Hope was his childhood friend and he loved her- still does, but he pushed her away when his demons got too strong. He can't give her what she needs. Now, though, once he sees the news, he will not let her go on the run by herself. Hope took baby Michelle from the grandparents’ home at the wish of Michelle's mother because the grandfather is an abuser and pedophile. The court ignored the mother's pleas when she went to jail and as far as Hope is concerned the system let them down by refusing to investigate the claims before handing the baby over. Now she is fearful and on the run with the last person she wants with her. She loves Brennan, but he has made it clear that he doesn't want her love. He struggled with addiction and anger and the guilt over not being around when his mother died. She hasn't seen Bren in three years and now she has a hard time believing that he has changed or that he will stick around and really help her. Bren not only wants to do that, but he also wants to finally connect with his estranged Rawley roots. Being on the run together may be the restart they both need. Alright, this story had some engaging points, but it also left me wanting. I struggled to buy into it from page one. And speaking of page one, it dove right in with not a lot of set up and not in that exciting thriller way. More of the ‘I'm so confused’ way. The flashbacks that filled in the backstory of Hope and her connection to Mark and Brennan were clearly delineated, but they were distracting and made the story advance in stops and starts. Hope's choices left me scratching my head because it was over the top stuff. I think it didn't help that almost from the beginning I thought of more than one way she could have achieved the result she wanted- Michelle's safety- without resorting to the antics that she did. It wasn't just the overall kidnapping plot that was troublesome. I also wasn't comfortable with the heroines' 'friendship' with the married guy, Mark. They are friends, they say I love you and mean it in a romantic way, but he's married so they don't act on it. She needs several thousands of dollars to go on the run and Mark says sure here you go. O-kay... She ended up being with Brennan and they worked through stuff, but that thing with Mark just seemed odd. Can't figure out why it had to be there to be honest. Now what did work for me and made this a worthwhile read was Brennan. Brennan is a really messed up guy. He was a partier and got into alcohol trouble from his youth onward. He has anger issues. His dad left them and it was just him and his mom with whom he had strained relationship. He was out living it up when she died and he can't forgive himself for that. He drove Hope away because he was afraid of having something serious and didn't love her as more than a friend at the time. But now, three years later, he wants to prove to her that he's changed. He's gotten cleaned up and he's a stable person. He still doesn't want a relationship and he plans only to be with her until she gets settled, but he wants to show he's a better person. I enjoyed seeing his feelings change and how he started to see baby Michelle as his and even Hope. His girls. He started to dream of love and family and I rooted him on all the way. I found the revelations about Brennan's Rawley connections a distraction from the romance and the existing situation with being on the run with baby Michelle, but at the same time I loved the inclusion of the other Rawleys. So this one was a bit of this and a bit of that. It was moderately good and I liked it for being a quick heartwarming story. Additional note: This book is free in Kindle and Nook formats if you want to pick it up for a try.

I like a little action in my romance books. I am not at heart a truly romantic person. To be honest I am more of guy. LOL I think that is why for so many years I shied away from Romance books. Luckily in the past year or so I have met some terrific writers that have opened my mind to different genres of books. I really loved this book. I love Olivia’s writing style, I love how she makes the characters pop and the story feel alive. Hope is a fantastic character, so spunky and brave. All in all this book had action, humor, fantastic romance and a terrific plot. 5 stars from me.

I saw a review of this book on Beck Valley Books originally and knew I had to read it!! I went directly to Amazon and purchased an e-book copy (which as you all know I am not all that thrilled with e-books)--I included this book in one of the 7 I read in 3 days for a challenge I had joined. I can not begin to tell you how I enjoyed this book! This is a story of adversity overcome on many levels and at the end I had tears of joy running down my face. This was one of the books included in the Red Hot Lovers compilation I purchased (a long time ago now). One that I have put off - forever! to start reading and then once I did, forever to read. I have made the decision to leave it. There are way too many really good books out there for me to want to finish it and there is no way this is red hot. More like tepid... if that. That is simply not good enough for me. I've got better books to be reading with my time. Sorry.

Not my normal romance but it was really good. Kept my attention... great characters...shows how you just have to trust your gut feelings. Hope did that and that is what put her in the predicament that she was in and it is what helped her get out of it. The cop trusted his gut instinct about several things, (don't want to say what so I don't spoil anything)... A slow burn novel and not for YA. Well I really HOPE this book can be read as a stand alone book... if not well I am going to be stubborn and do it anyway. When I read the description of this book I was hooked then and there no questions asked. How could I resist a book that was pulling me in before even opening it up on my Kindle? I couldn't. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This was different from anything I have ever read there is a kidnapping . Hope kidnaps a baby whom she believe may become abused by the grandfather whom abused the daughter. At first I wondered what was going on in beginning. The suspense omg. Then finally when I realized what was happening. The two leafs went on the run. Do they get caught and can they save baby Michelle. 2.5 bumped to 3. Hmm, not quite sure how to write this review. I had high hopes for this book. Sadly, it didn’t quite pan out as I had hoped. It was interesting enough in the beginning. It jumped around a lot, but I could still follow it well enough. It was actually pretty engaging for the first half. Then it started to get redundant. The author didn’t really give these characters much depth. Things fell very easily into place and for what’s going on, there really wasn’t much drama or conflict. 2.5 bumped to 3. I have the second and third book in the Rawley series, but it will probably be a while before I continue the reading them. All for Hope wasn’t bad, it just fell a little flat for me.

This is the first book I've read by her and it was good. Hope seem to have cared for Mark and Brennan. It does show that you can have male friends whose friendship can stand the test of time. I really thought Kay was going to turn Hope in. The book told of Hope communicating with Mark, but not Bren talking with his partner and their friend Jim. It seems as though Bren's life took a back seat. All in all it was an okay read. This is the first book I've read by her and it was good. Hope seem to have cared for Mark and Brennan. This was a romance with a new twist, sort of. The characters are well developed and the plot keeps you tuned in and moving forward. Just when you think it's all falling apart, the author draws on human kindness and goodwill toward the less fortunate to pull it back together. A nice read with a little more subject matter than most romances. This was a romance with a new twist, sort of. The characters are well developed and the plot keeps you tuned in and moving forward. Nope not it Bren is awful. Hope is too good. And the rest just aren't realistic. It takes a very serious subject and makes a mockery of it. She could have fled the country, instead she's recognized by her ex. Nope not it Bren is awful. Hope is too good. And the rest just aren't realistic.
