No sugar coating here! Very brave Definitely a “no sugar” coated story. For anyone like me, who’s going though our own “journey”, interesting to hear how others cope, get support, and SURVIVE!!!

Well done, Linda! Inspiring for many reasons but let's start with honesty - no sugar-coating here. You'll feel as though you know Linda well by the end, and you'll cheer for her along the way! Incredible in detail and no doubt at all about the love she has for all of those around her. She is a walking party through her treatments! Strongly recommended for friends and family members of those being treated for cancer - great insights. But it's definitely going to hit home for all. Fantastic job!!! Well done, Linda! This book is an amazing recount of one woman's journey from diagnosis of breast cancer to treatment completion. Yes, you will learn a bit about the different subtypes of breast cancer and the medical lingo, but more the more important part of this book is Linda's honest description of how this terrible disease put a "hiccup" into her life plans. Her story makes you grateful for good friends. It makes you realize how important a smile and kindness are to people you barely know. This was a very entertaining and heartfelt memoir of Linda's cancer ordeal. She covers all the ugliness of the disease and the treatment in a candid way overlaid with a good dose of humor. Well worth a read for anyone who has cancer or knows someone who has it, and for anyone looking for an interesting mini-memoir. This is one Id really recommend. Dont let the title put you off - this lady knows how to use humor and sass that somehow makes you belly laugh at cancer. I won this book on good reads. Thank you for choosing my name. This is a book that tells the story of a woman's journey through breast cancer diagnosis-treatment- post care and remission. She is a very strong woman and has a great sense of humor that helped carry her through her journey. She also has a great group of family and friends to help her along the way. She tells her story with courage and a bit of levity which I think covers up any fear she is feeling.I'd recommend this book to anyone I won this book on good reads. Thank you for choosing my name. Luckily no chemo. had 5 yrs Tamoxifen and 5 yrs of Femera. we both like Sutter Home white Zinfendel which my girls referred to as my "Booby wine" I live in Maine, and my oldest daughter wanted me to come to Boston for treatments. I could not even think of going all that distance 5 days a week for radiation.I was 61 at the time and a widow. thank you for writing your book and I'm sure it will bring help and some understanding to going through the cancer journey to newly DX patients.

I met Linda at the liquor store when visiting Shrewsbury Ma, and she seemed like such an open, honest and outgoing person that I decided to buy her book. I am glad I did. While it is not the great american novel, it is an honest expression of her experience with breast cancer, and definitely shines an unusual light on the subject (making chemo days into parties, for example). She often claims to not understand the science behind things, but most often does a decent job. Thanks Linda, glad I bought and read your book!

What an incredible outlook during a period in ones life when the outcome just isn't clear. This is a real honest story that goes way beyond just the usual fight in humans, it's more like the way we should all strive to never ever give in to the fears instilled in us unnecessarily. Linda gives"Murphy's Law" a new meaning. What an incredible outlook during a period in ones life when the outcome just isn't clear. Honest This was an eye opener for me about breast cancer. The author was honest in revealing her journey during a difficult time in her life. It also shows how important family and friends are along with maintaining a positive outlook.
