Five ingredient French onion soup? Coffee cake?? Thai peanut chicken??? There are a lot of recipes in this book that sound exactly like the kind of food I enjoy, and really easy to make. There aren't pictures for every recipe, but the ingredients speak for themselves. Five ingredient French onion soup? Coffee cake?? Thai peanut chicken??? I like the author's writing style, it's breezy and fun. There are plenty of recipes to try and in my experience (I've owned all of her books) the recipes do work. I also like that she admits it when she uses a recipe she found on somebody's website, her honesty is refreshing. I like the author's writing style, it's breezy and fun. This book is a great resource if you like to use your slow cooker. The recipes are easy to follow and generally very family friendly. The meat chapters were highlights for me. There’s no nutritional information and not enough pictures. But otherwise, this is an almost perfect weeknight cookbook.

Delicious recipes! Our Christmas dinner came from this book--a Mexican quinoa and bean dish that everyone raved about and cooked while we were at work!

Great cookbook for someone looking for simple and easy recipes. And they actually look delicious and include ingredients I've heard of. Great cookbook for someone looking for simple and easy recipes. And they actually look delicious and include ingredients I've heard of.

Checked this one out of the library, made a few recipes and have ordered the cookbook for my husband and I to use. The recipes are tasty and not complex. I have never given Jack a cookbook, but he enjoys being in the kitchen…my thought is encourage him to create a few meals. All look delicious! All recipes are gluten-free. O'Dea is the gal who blogged using the crockpot 365 days and has written a few cookbooks. This cookbook is filled with simplified versions of her favorite recipes. One of the things I enjoy most about cookbooks is seeing photos of the completed recipes. This book fails miserably in that arena. However, readers will find a wide range of recipes from punch to dessert. that are relatively easy to put together.

Lots of interesting recipes but, as one reviewer mentioned, not enough pictures. Nevertheless some ideas i had but seen before.

Great simple recipes! Easy and fast read. The greatest thing about 5 ingredients or less is that there are only healthy ingredients -- no filler b.s.
