Completely engulfed The stories were completely well told, all three n the series. And they forced you to engulf yourself in the lives of Oakley, Cole, Jasper, etc. I personally have an issue with the editing of books, for words to spelled correctly but outside of that I absolutely could not stop reading. I read each story back to back and am now nothing less than disappointed because it's over. Natasha Preston is now one of my favorite story tellers! I have never read a book so good that I finish in 3 days. I recommend this book to people who like and love drama and who likes when surprises come at you and just want to read more. Thank you!

These books were so engaging and they were written very well. The storyline had a strong backbone and the author developed it very nicely.

My reviews of each book. Silence - I think an author who can bring out all the emotions when you re-read a book has an amazing talent. Silence - I think an author who can bring out all the emotions when you re-read a book has an amazing talent. I've decided to re-read Natasha Preston's Silence series because a number of years have passed since I first read the books (it was before I starting writing reviews) and I wished to remind myself just why I call this series one of my top favourites. You would think having prior knowledge of the story line would lessen how we feel when reading a book for the second, third, millionth time. But even though I could recall what happens in Silence I certainly felt every emotion like I was reading it for the very first time, and I have to give credit to Ms. Preston for writing this incredible story like she did. My heart is broken and I've wiped away my tears. I started reading Silence late last night and since I woke up I have been unable to put my kindle down. I had plans this morning.... they never happened. Just one more chapter I said, and I've said this at the end of every chapter until the very end. I believe every reader who meets Oakley and Cole will adore them. They have a special friendship, an amazing bond and feelings for each other that have grown over the years. Oakley has a secret that no-one should have to keep and she remains silent because of this. Cole is her best friend who just accepts Oakley for who she is, with no pressure to be the 'normal' person that others seem to feel she should be. I adore the connection that these young people have with each other and I know that once they have quickly worked their way into your heart, that you will feel all the emotions and want happiness for them both too. Broken Silence - After devouring Silence yesterday (The first book in the Silence Series) there was no way that I could not jump straight into Broken Silence to discover what happens next. Oakley moves half way round the world with her family to escape her past but that also meant leaving Cole behind. Four years later their paths cross again and from their initial meeting I was rooting for them to rekindle their relationship. What Oakley had to face - the reason why she came back to England broke my heart. Oakley is such an incredible young lady. She is strong and determined to do the right thing and her amazing support network is there for her, whenever she needs them..... and this includes Cole. There is a special place in my heart for Oakley and Cole. To watch their friendship from a very early age turn into more was wonderful. To witness their separation was awful and I could feel all the emotions throughout this book as they both dealt with the past and dared to think about what the future holds. I've cried, laughed and sat on the edge of my seat throughout this book. I can definitely recommend Broken Silence for you to read. Players, Bumps and Cocktail Sausages - I know this book can be read as a stand-alone but if you have yet to read Silence and Broken Silence then I urge you to. Not only are they incredible reads but you meet the younger Jasper and get to see the boy turn into a man that I have grown so very fond of..... and you will certainly fall for him too. Jasper isn't perfect. His life style at times has been concerning. What I absolutely adore about him is his ability to make me laugh often and his huge heart which means he loves fiercely and he is determined to protect those he loves. He has had to face situations that no-one should ever have to deal with and this has affected him considerably. He puts others before himself but then there comes a time when we have to put ourselves first and face our demons to enable us to move on, and this is no different for Jasper. He's such a fabulous person and I can't help but wish for him to be happy and less anxious in his every day life. You'll need to read this book to see if my wish is granted. It has been lovely to spend time again with Oakley and Cole and all the characters from the first two books in the series. I loved seeing where their paths have taken them. My feelings for Jasper have grown over the past three books and I totally recommend for you to witness his journey too. Silent Night - I thoroughly enjoyed this novella enabling me to catch up with Cole, Oakley and all the amazing characters that I have grown to love throughout the series. Christmas is such a magical time and it warmed my heart to see the families together enjoying this wonderful time of year. I sense this may be the last book in the series as it has been some time since Silent Night was published, but I do hope that one day the author will put pen to paper and give us an update of what has happened in all their lives. It's been an absolute pleasure to re-read this whole series over the past four days. I've always said it is one of my favourites and spending time again with them all has confirmed this!

I have loved this series!! Jasper and Holly's story was brilliant! Jasper is still dealing with his father and what he did to Oakley. He is finding it difficult to deal with because he feels guilty and being the older brother he is protective of his sister and he believes that he has failed somehow. His marriage to Abby is not great either and when he discovers her cheating it is over for him because he is not doing it again. Holly is sweet and quite 'innocent' but is drawn to Jasper just like he I have loved this series!! Jasper and Holly's story was brilliant! Jasper is funny and i loved reading his humour...was great having all the characters from the other two books in it as well. Was lovley to see Jasper get his happy ending after everything he has gone through.

A brilliant series! Cannot get enough of these books, this is such an amazing deal all three books in the series together as one! In silence an Broken Silence you'll fall in love with Cole and Oakley! In Players, Bumps and Cocktail Sausages you finally see more of Oakleys brother Jasper and fall in love with the player himself! There's plenty of giggles to be had in that one! As always brilliantly written and highly addictive work by Natasha Preston! A brilliant series! Was a good quick read Decently compelling and easy to get through. Didn't think all the cursing was necessary (esp book 3) but you could easily see where the story was going.
