Took me almost a year to work my way through this behemoth, mostly in lunch breaks or quiet shifts at work - an incredible graphic work of lore and design, but as a game book I'm not as convinced. The entire first book is dedicated to the lore and world of Degenesis, the second book is, on the face of it, dedicated to the system (KatharSys) that the game runs on - however, it fluctuates wildly between rule explanations/systems and more loredumps. I'll probably never run the game, but goodness me Took me almost a year to work my way through this behemoth, mostly in lunch breaks or quiet shifts at work - an incredible graphic work of lore and design, but as a game book I'm not as convinced. An interesting Pen & Paper setting, with top notch design! Post apocalyptic, with a very detailed word centered on Europe and Northern Africa. The worldbuilding & artwork is definitely fantastic. The Rebirth edition is divided into 2 books, and you get about 350 A4 pages of lore and Artwork. The System is not my favorite, but I have not played it yet. I think it will play okay, but will not be my fav system. The System, the art, and the text are all clearly written by men. I would wish for more coo An interesting Pen & Paper setting, with top notch design! Post apocalyptic, with a very detailed word centered on Europe and Northern Africa. I would wish for more cool women who don't run around naked in this setting, if I ever play it, I will be creating them myself.

My favourite tabletop rpg setting by far. It features an incredible amount of great illustrations over 700 pages of world information. This book is a behemoth of work and introduces you to a great world with several layers of intrigues and metaplot revealing themselves read-through after read-through.
