Earth: Near Future Experience has taught Sarah Rasmussen that hot guys don’t go for geeks like her. Their retreat speed is usually proportional to the value of her IQ. However, for every rule it seems there is an exception—or in her lucky case, two. When confronted with the disturbing fact she has been genetically manipulated in order to save an alien race stranded on Earth for a thousand years, she needs the strength of the men’s devotion to deal with the life-changing news. But when she learns that the love of the two men she has come to care for deeply is not quite as it appears, it could shatter her heart forever. Nick Bannister and Adam McKeoun will never stop fighting to convince Sarah she is their world, no matter what the source of their emotion. They will let nothing stand in their way of forging a happiness that will transcend any challenge, especially not a calculating and determined enemy bent on Sarah’s destruction.

It took me a long time to read this book. There were heaps of potential and you see sneak peaks of the talent this author can have but in my opinion she needs to refine it. I don't know if I can say this as a female, but this book was a bit of a cock tease. Numerous times they almost....then they get disrupted just at the good part. I actually lost interest a few times at this point and started thinking about mundane daily things and had to back up a few sentences or a paragraph or two because I realized I didn't take anything in. The book as a whole was exciting, confusing and needs a little more work. Sadly the only thing that saved the book from being a flat 1 star was a very sci-fi battle near the end...This should not be the high point for a romance.

I really enjoyed this book, but having said that unless you are an Aussie and a Star Trek fan it may not suit everybody. Some very technical language, some Aussie colloquialisms and no sex until the last chapter *gasp*

    I found the plot lacking.

What happens when the 'Bad guys' become the 'Good guys'? I really enjoyed parts of this story but it isn't as good as Alien Mine which was beyond excellent. I loved the idea for this book and parts of it were very good. I would really only recommend it to people who have a love of sci-fi as well as menage though as there was a lot, L. O. T. lot, of technical jargon. It does bog down a bit in the middle but it picks back up again. I did find myself having to reread parts because my mind had wandered to other things while I was reading, which was a bit disconcerting. Also, if you are looking for a Sexy read, there is a bit of making-out in the book, but they don't consumate their relationship until the very end of the book. All 3 of the MCs occasionally got on my nerves, but I still found them very interesting and their story was good enough that I finished the book because I wanted to know what happened to them and the other characters. I got this via the Kindle Unlimited program. Am I glad I spent my time reading it? Yup. I'm still waiting on the sequel to Alien Mine though.

Blah After reading alien, mine, I was really excited to tad her newest book. This book is dry... there is no spark, and Sandra Harris has a predilection for shifting viewpoints that she really needs to avoid. It was annoying in her first book, but ruination for this one. I will only read something by her again if it is on kindle unlimited or in first person. This book was bad, not worth it, even free.

4 1/2 I enjoyed this book! On review I would give Alien Mine a 5. First books in series usually have a lot of character background, but this book had enough action/tension to balance the story out. There were a number of phrases I found highly amusing. Romance/sexual tension and a happy ending. Waiting for more.
