Summer is here and who doesn't love cooking out and enjoying the great weather? Here is a great cookbook for those summer events we enjoy with those we love. There is a nice variety ranging from an easy Papa Eloy's Tuna Salad or Baja Fish Tacos to the more complex sculpted Pecorino Crisp from the chef from Chicago's 42 Grams or Chilled White Gazpacho from the executive chef at Boka. Mixed Greens with Marinated Flank Steak and Herb Vinaigrette makes a nice, refreshing meal on a hot summer day. It Summer is here and who doesn't love cooking out and enjoying the great weather? Mixed Greens with Marinated Flank Steak and Herb Vinaigrette makes a nice, refreshing meal on a hot summer day. It cooks quickly, lessening the time over the hot grill. For your next picnic give the Better Than BLT's a try. Delicious! Most of the recipes in this book are quite easy to make--some seem almost too easy to include, but I realize not everyone grew up learning how to cook. There is a great selection of recipes perfect for indoor or outdoor entertainment. I would probably give this book 3.5 stars, but decided to round up to 4 stars for the nice photographs and diversity of recipes. I have enjoyed this book and think you might, too! I received a copy of this book from Agate Publishing for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
