Okay, I now officially like the backup material more than the main storyline. God Is Dead is chugging away, and ends on a mildly interesting cliffhanger. I also note that each volume seems to have fewer restraints about what can and can't be depicted in the art. I wish I were more impressed, but it still seems very ... safe, somehow. I'm really enjoying the American Gods storyline (no relation to the Neil Gaiman novel) and almost think this series would be more interesting if it focused on side Okay, I now officially like the backup material more than the main storyline. mmmrrgh. No sé por qué lo sigo leyendo (bueno, sí se... esperando ver a Quetzalcoatl matar a medio mundo, pero no pasa nunca).

The main storyline seems to be just keeping time. Gods seem to be kind of aligned by the elements now (i.e. Sky Gods/Mountain Gods/etc) yet the back-up material seems to be better.

I can't be bothered with the rest of this series. I thought I'd at least read through to understand what it's about, but I can't be bothered with the boring litany of violence and thinly veiled misogyny. Blah. These are great trade paperbacks, but they move too quickly and feels like they are skipping alot.
