Pretty good read. Just the kind of info I was seeking in a useful format. I don't have the desire or time to do the work to find out all this stuff on my own. There should be something for everyone especially if you are over 40 like me. Pretty good read. Just the kind of info I was seeking in a useful format. I discovered S.J. Scott about 2 months ago and have enjoyed the topic of each work! I love his writing because it is practical and readable. This book was great for essentially what it was. I consider it a great primer for productivity apps. However, being a student of productivity I had either heard of or already tried the majority of the apps he suggested. With that in mind I would still recommend this to those who are newly exposed to the world of productivity/personal development. You can't I discovered S.J. Gives a quick overview of a lot of apps so that's the best use it has. Not very in-depth and mostly designed with the need to save you time. One caveat is that a good majority of the apps listed are for Mac/Apple devices. Not a lot here for Android or desktop, but the few listed are helpful. Goes to show Apple still has the upper hand in apps. Gives a quick overview of a lot of apps so that's the best use it has. Not very in-depth and mostly designed with the need to save you time. I love using apps to keep me on track and help with everyday tasks. This was a good resource for finding new options. If you are interested in a specific platform, I recommend sticking to the list in the appendix to avoid reading about an app that isn't even available for your device.
