Sweet Short Novella A MIDNIGHT CLEAR is a short contemporary novella. THE STORY: It is the story of Kelly Malone who is a nurse-midwife. While visiting her aunt, she is urged to go to the ranch of Samuel Watson to help with a pregnancy. Kelly had a crush on Samuel when she was a teenager even though he was rude and difficult. Nothing has changed. When Kelly gets trapped on the ranch with Samuel, the two find out that they are a great match. Nothing has changed. When Kelly gets trapped on the ranch with Samuel, the two find out that they are a great match. OPINION: This was a nice story but not particularly exciting or memorable. It is one of those books that I don't regret reading bit that I probably wouldn't read again. The short length makes it difficult to get attached to the characters as the story plot takes up most of the pages. However, the story itself is sweet and I liked the characters enough to be happy at their HEA. WORTH MENTIONING: This story was previously published as part of an anthology. CONNECTED BOOKS: This is a standalone. STAR RATING: 3.5 stars.

I love it. The story was short but that why it was good because no much drama and i could feel their emotion. However it was much better if at least there was epilogue.
