This book includes some practical tips for authors who want to make their works and brand known by more potential readers within a short time. Sometimes writing another short fiction can help an author refresh his or her mind so the author can gather some more new ideas and materials to polish up the original work-in-progress story. By continually producing short fics, the author can get more new readers' attention and succeed in promoting his or her works and writing style. This book was a little bit of a disappointment. I only ended up with half a page of notes from this one, and all of those were on the character development section. I came out no more prepared to write a book in a day than I had ever been, save for my preparedness to write better fleshed out characters. In fact, there's very little explanation how to write a book in a day, and much more given to how to write a book at all. In my opinion, those two ideas should have been kept separate. It could stand to have more info in the section about outlining and structuring the story you are writing, but apart from that is a pretty good solid book of information.
