SPOILER hmmm, I'm a bit disturbed that the group left Terry to live. I mean they had the opportunity and reason to kill him. But no, I guess the author wanted him to pop back up in the next book or so to create a story line. I would have just killed him. After reading the bit about the 12 year old girl I was totally disgusted and couldn't get that image out of my head. I know people go power crazy in all the books written in the aftermath of a disaster, but man, that really disturbed me. More peo SPOILER hmmm, I'm a bit disturbed that the group left Terry to live. The one that was the most upsetting was the little girl. Ugh, I had to read that part twice to make sure I understood who it was. I like that there's one thinking zombie out there who knows how to control the hoards. Makes it interesting.

Picking up immediately after Season 1 Episode 1 ends, we find Jordan washed up on the beach in the aftermath of the storm that destroyed “Haven” and sent the inhabitants of the small ship overboard into the angry sea. While not all survive the storm and subsequent wreck of the Haven, those who remain set out to procure a new boat in an attempt to travel to the Indian Ocean; where it is rumored that calmer waters await. As the need for a boat sturdy enough to be able to make the perilous journey arises, Jordan and Stan find themselves dealing with the area’s trader, Terry, who is your all around smarmy sort of guy. Overall I feel that this book was an improvement over the fist in the series and it seems that the little writing quirks that so drove me crazy in episode one were all but gone in this newer installment. This story has quite a few cringe worthy moment and also introduced a few new characters in the form of the rescued Selena and of course the smarmy trader Terry. The inclusion of Terry and his crew also served to remind you that even when the world is falling apart, there will always be someone there to profit from it. It will be interesting to see how the budding rivalry between Terry and Jordan develops and how far Terry will go to reclaim what he feels was stolen from him. All told, A solid 3.5 stars and definitely looking forward to the next episode in the season.

I was hoping the story would keep Jordan as the front man, but I was wrong. It focused more on this new character, Tim. This disappointed me, along with a few other issues. First I know longer like Anne. She became a nuisance, going from slightly erratic to ignorant actions that placed others in danger! I honestly wished for her to perish- but sadly, she did not. As for the telekinetic thing, I'm not sure I'm liking it. One brain to rule them all? Meh... Short and sweet. This book picks up right where the last one ended. The characters felt a little bit more developed. Not a lot of zombie action this time around, but what you do see of the zombies, you get the feeling something important is happening to them. The book feels a little light on content and it's a very quick read. I enjoyed it and if you were looking for a quick, fun little zombie story, you should give it a try. Short and sweet. 'Blood Memory' just keeps getting better. The way this story is playing out has me glued to the pages. Full of action, suspense and intense scenes. I couldn't put it down. The characters are strong and I can't wait to read more. A great add to your tbr list. 'Blood Memory' just keeps getting better. The way this story is playing out has me glued to the pages. Still unimpressed. Didn't actually finish this one. I kept hoping it would be an improvement from the first episode, where I saw some potential. But I felt like I had been picked up and put in a completely different book. There were some serious gaps in the plot line. Still unimpressed. Didn't actually finish this one. I tore through this chapter in one sitting. So I had to go and purchase the whole damn season to finish the tale. So far so good for a zombie tale.
