She thought her one time chance encounter with attorney, Nathan Moore, in a hotel room would become a jumping point for her exciting, single and adventurous life in the city. One night turned into two, into four, and into more – always at the same place, always at the same time – no last names, no personal details, and absolutely no complications. What Jessica doesn't count on is that in Nathan's world boundaries are made to be pushed. He wanted her in ways he promised he never would. She wanted him in ways she couldn't admit. When their lives ultimately collide outside the walls of the hotel room, Jessica is forced to face the truth about the only man who has ever made her pulse race and her body ache with unadulterated pleasure. PULSE - Part Two Nathan promised Jessica just one thing during those nights in his hotel room – sex unlike anything she had experienced before. As Jessica confronts the past she ran away from, the present that consumes her and what it all means for her future, one brief moment changes absolutely everything. The lust filled promises he made in bed are no match for the reality that she's now holding in the palm of her hand. Sex drives men like Nathan Moore. She suspected it, then experienced it and now there's absolutely no denying it. She knows what the right thing to do is. He knows that he's never met anyone like her. Jessica struggles to forget him as Nathan's desire for her consumes him. His compulsive need to possess her pushes him in ways that will change them both forever. Just how far is Nathan Moore willing to go to have the one woman he claims he can't live without? PULSE - Part Four NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER The conclusion to The Pulse Series... Jessica Roth thought she'd found the one man who could fulfill her in every way. He was gorgeous, controlling, amazing in bed and said everything that she desperately wanted to hear. That was, until she heard him say the one thing she never suspected was true. Nathan Moore says he has his reasons for doing the things that break her heart. She knows that she can't continue to live in a world where nothing makes sense. As Jessica weaves her way through a maze of lies, half-truths and coincidences, she begins to see everyone in her world for who they really are. Old friends become the enemy, new friends become allies and the one man she can't be close to, becomes the only person who can give her what she really needs. I really tried to get into it I bought the 4 book set and unfortunately only made it through book 2. I really wanted and tried to get into it, but just couldn't. I love erotic romance and enjoy a hot steamy sex scene, however this was just a lot of quick "fucking" with no substance. By the beginning of book 3 Nathan still had no character detail and very little was known about Jessica. No storyline just a lot of repeated quick "fuckings" I really tried to get into it I bought the 4 book set and unfortunately only made it through book 2. After reading the Vain series and liking it,I purchased the complete Pulse series on kindle. So keep in mind that I read it as one novel rather than a series of novellas. I would never put this series in the romance genre because, clearly, there was no romance involved. Jess is an aspiring chef and Nathan is a womanizing a$$hole lawyer. They meet at a bar and come to a mutually beneficial arrangement to have no strings sex. I have never read about a more pathetic female character in my life. They meet at a bar and come to a mutually beneficial arrangement to have no strings sex. I have never read about a more pathetic female character in my life. I can't count the number of times Jess barged into Nathan's office or home just to tell him that they were over which was really just an excuse to have sex with him "for the LAST time" over and over and over again. All they did was have sex; there was no getting to know you at any point in the story. There was no emotional connection between the characters at all...no meaningful conversations or basis for the relationship but sex. The sex scenes started out steamy but became increasingly repetitive over the course of the series. This series was like the worst of the television soap operas where every conceivable misunderstanding and bad thing happens and everyone is so interconnected that it begins to seem a bit incestuous. I don't understand the appeal of this series...I definitely won't be reading Impulse. Honestly, if I could go back and un-read this series, I would.

3 stars! Even though the story all in all is worth more stars, that last part, somehow, ruined the series for me :( Still the writing was good and enjoyable.

Nathan is a huge A$$hole and a womaniser. Jessica falls for his bull$$it stories time and time again. They seem to take one step forward and then ten steps back. The relationship seems to be doomed from the beginning and just when you think she can trust him, he seems to drop another unpleasant surprise on her. The story takes you on an emotional roller coaster and at times I found myself disliking Jessica for not having a stronger backbone. I despised Nathan for his arrogance and the way he treated Jessica. Yet I understood that they were so addicted to one another. Can these two ever be truthful and commit to a relationship? Or has too much damage been done? Is it time for Jessica to hang up her chef’s apron and go home? Or is it time for Nathan to grow up and show his full house of cards and claim the woman who has captured his heart? Reviewed for Hot books and Sassy Girls book blog

Really wanted to like this book but couldn’t. Reader never really gets to know the characters other than, they have great sex together! That’s all they do...have great sex together. No getting to know each other before or during the relationship. Female distrusts male lead throughout entire book, until the very end. There is a teaser to entice you to read next book which is from male pov and continues the story but I wasn’t interested enough to continue reading about the characters.

First, I have to say that I absolutely love Bladon. I’ve read everything she’s ever given us and I’ve not regretted reading a single page. She’s a great author, the sort of author I’d like to be one day soon. She has a habit of giving me characters I can’t help but love and plots that I completely lose myself in. There’s almost always a cliff hanger that often leaves me crying or staring into space in shock. It’s always an emotional rollercoaster with Deborah Bladon. Nathan is one of my top blokes – he’s on my fictional boyfriend list. It might have something to do with the suits... in fact it definitely has something to do with the suits. I love a man in a suit. It all starts with a one night stand; Jessica has just moved to New York. It’s perhaps the best sex of her life but it’s only for one night right? Except one night turns into two, three, four... they meet in the same place, at the same time. They keep their emotions out of it; no last names. It’s uncomplicated. But what was supposed to stay in that one hotel room end up taking over their lives. Nathan wants Jessica in that way that every woman in the world wants to be wanted. He’s determined, unwilling to yield, no matter the cost. He’s a little bit older than Jess but that’s not really a turn off. The rules change as Nathan deals with his changing feelings; jealousy, want, desire, need... There are secrets, as always. Nathan is almost horribly arrogant but his sexuality is so raw and intense that you can’t really help wanting him. I love Jessica too. She’s a heroine to rave about and she definitely drives Nathan crazy. Five out of Five stars.

If you read Obsessed you will get a taste of Nathan who is the main male character in this serial. From his interactions with Ivy, in Obsessed you think he seems like a decent man. Think again..... How he is portrayed in Pulse is quite different. He is a sl*t, manwhore, pig, disgusting, sex craved lunatic - to name a few. I could go on but I think you get the picture. I think that these are nice words to describe him. If you are looking for sex, more sex and even more sex than this serial is for you. The only way Jessica and Nathan seem to talk is through the sheets. They have some really interesting twists and turns in their story. Often with Jessica having tantrum and running away and then running right back to Nathan to have more sex. The 6 degrees of separation and how everything plays out and works itself out is rather amazing.

I've heard so many good things about this author so I decided to give her books a try. I've read 2 of her series and don't know what all the fuss is about. Her stories are incredibly choppy, the characters don't have enough dialogue, and the story's doesn't allow the reader to get to know them. Girl meets man for hook up, they say only once, however turns into numerous times. Don't get me wrong there were a few funny parts and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but it just sucked. I feel like we never really get to know the heroine and the hero is mysterious to the end and even then we don't find out who he really is or what he's about. Ugh so I don't know if I'll give her another chance.

Damn. Nathan's final words.... wow. Not what I expected. Seems there's alot more to our sweet and innocent Jessica. What skeletons hide in her closet? I liked this series, I read Vain 1&2 before any other books by Deborah Bladon, so I was curious of Mr One-Night-Stand-Who Fucks-So-Good. He was mentioned by Alexa, as the best sex of her life. Loved the story line, plot & all the characters except dimwit Jessica. She's great until she starts going back and forth to ask stupid why/when/who questions knowing the answer didn't matter cause she would end up right back with another one as an excuse to see Nathan. Most women would wait to give the guy who screwed up a chance to come after them. Especially if they screwed up majorly more than once. Still a worthwhile & entertaining read. JESSICA AND NATHAN OK, while I enjoyed the story, I could have strangled Jess at times. It's true, Nathan acted like an ass hole at times, I truly believe he just didn't know any better. Most was his past and she either needed to come to grips with it or walk away for good. Her self righteousness was ridiculous. Did he drag her forcefully to that suite? His phone was his past and truthfully Rebecca caused a lot of her heartbreak. Friendship? It seemed more like jealousy. Im just not sure how much I liked it. Jessica annoyed the ever loving shit out of me with her "I hate you, dont trust you, but will repeatedly fuck your brains out" attitude that literally went on from the first page to the last. This is a first for me. Usually I can find SOMETHING likeable about the heroine. It just lacked. I guess theirs a book to follow up, explaining why she had such trust issues....but I doubt I'll read it. Im just not sure how much I liked it. OMG I am so happy that I was reading this on Kindle because I think I blushed through this whole series. I could not put it down. Some of the events I saw coming but over all it had me at the edge of my seat and glues to my Kindle. I did feel like the characters went around in the same circle for most of the book. And I was left unsatisfied (pun not intended, I just can't think of a better phrase). I am excited for the follow up, Impulse. This story... I really enjoyed Nathan. He's powerfully wicked and he's a likeable character. Jessica, to me, seemed a bit neurotic. I wanted to offer her some Xanax or some other type of anti anxiety meds. The constant push and pull of her personality was a bit extreme. Overall, I liked the story and I recommend it as a good read. This story... I really enjoyed Nathan. He's powerfully wicked and he's a likeable character. Jessica, to me, seemed a bit neurotic. Good series, some mystery, bad boy(has a f.pad), woman who has no problem saying no, just can't seem to stay away from the guy... :--) Hero reminded me of Jessie, "This Man" due to his obsession for the heroine... Also thought this was funny at times which always adds to the romance. He and/or She just doesn't get the other and makes for some interesting banter. Enjoy! This book involves four parts. It centers around Jessica and Nathan. This is your stereotypical book that was written around the time that another highly sexual book was all the rage. You have the rich man, the perfect constant orgasms, both are beautiful and perfectly built. Your typical erotic novel. There's some story line, but it mostly revolves are sex and power. Ughhhh ok so I've read all her latest reads and I'm backtracking out of boredom. Also I love read too many books I'm out of good ones. These serials are mindless romance. I hate erotica. That's all these early books are. I think her books have tamed a bit now cause yea. The story line was absolutely excruciatingly horrific. Awful. Unbearably bad. Craziness This wasn't my favorite story of the authors. I kept feeling like I wanted to smack Jessica and Nathan. The way they all acted just made me want to take a frying pan to them. I do enjoy how people from previous stories makes an appearance. It makes it more realistic and like time isn't standing still. Craziness This wasn't my favorite story of the authors. Very good mini series. There were times when I wanted to punch both characters. And the fourth book felt a bit stretched. Like the author was trying to add problems that seemed almost laughable (like what now?) and I began to lose interest. Other than that, it was rather good.

I'm glad I read this as one long novel rather than shirt novellas. Main characters were frustrating at times... Jessica was pretty wishy-washy, and for being 32 Nathan acted pretty naive at some points. I'm glad I read this as one long novel rather than shirt novellas. Oh dear this was not as good as Obsessed and Exposed series. Jessica just came across as a nimpho dumb arse who couldn't stop getting off long enough to sort Nathans shit out. talk about jump from love to lust to hate in the space of mere paragraphs - just not a good flowing read sorry Oh dear this was not as good as Obsessed and Exposed series. Nathan is an arse! And she's a glutton for punishment. The story is great and the sexy stuff is great but Nathan really is an adolescent when it comes to relationships Jessica deserves better Nathan is an arse! And she's a glutton for punishment. If you love Deborah then you have to keep reading, and in correct order. Nathan is in love, Jessica is a bit over the top, after all she was willing to be "one" of those woman when she went looking on ....Impulse now. Another Nail Biter I love the love stories but seeing this to the end was stressful....the emotions that they share and things the characters put each other through makes u want to jump into the book and slap them.....
