Not only will you learn how to simplify, organize, and declutter your physical and external world, but you will also learn various techniques to simplify, organize, and declutter the internal aspects of your life as well. Practical Tips for Organization Even though minimalism is more than just limiting and organizing your possessions, those points do need to be addressed. In the upcoming chapters you’ll be given specific steps to help you gain control over your space and possessions. Don’t worry, this isn’t one of those preachy, “you must give away everything you own except for exactly 50 items” type of books. It’s more important for you to start reaping the benefits of a minimalist lifestyle than it is to try to live by some arbitrary and rigid set of rules. When you set out to simplify your life in meaningful ways you will find that you have a better, happier, and more fulfilling journey ahead of you. It does come at a cost, even though temporary. You must be willing to take the necessary steps to rid your life of what has been holding you back and bringing stress into your life. No matter how great your life is today, you can make it better with just a little bit of conscience effort – and it will be worth it. I sincerely hope that this book reminds you that happiness isn’t about things. A very short book for such broad subject. My personal opinion about it that is really superficial and most of the things are almost clichés. I think it is a very introductory book about minimalism style.

Trying for minimalism 2016 goals for me are to not just shoot for more organization but to have less stuff to organize and stop wasting money and start saving more.

Very.... minimalist! It's really basic and might be a good start for someone interested in minimalist living, but not much other than that. It should have focused more on the art of actually living the minimalist lifestyle than how to organize your bathroom or bedroom. Still, very short read, can't do you harm. Very.... minimalist! This was a very quick and easy read, but there wasn't anything of substance really there. Tidbits such as "arrange your spices alphabetically," "you can use old grocery bags instead of trash liners" and "put recipes in a recipe book" are offered. Meh. Very basic.Nothing to surprising or insightful. I found this to be very basic and it lacks any true insightful content. Unless your life and home are in chaos what is suggests is of little value.

Short, simple & inspiring. I especially liked the section on applying minimalism in the "inside". 52 tips on applying minmalism at home was very insightful also. The author gave his honest advice on minimalism and its positive impact on our lives in its many different aspects. Short, simple & inspiring.
