An exceptional book, a well written, raw and honest expose of a long struggle with anorexia and bulimia. The author, without self pity, documents both her childhood experiences and reactions to them, along with her increasing awareness and understanding, as she struggles to learn to stop her self loathing and learn to have self love and acceptance. The triggers which keep making her relapse into binging and purging and her documentation of her internal dialogue are so supportive and encouraging An exceptional book, a well written, raw and honest expose of a long struggle with anorexia and bulimia. A great asset not just for counsellor working to help those with eating disorders but also a great book to help create insight and awareness and hope with those still struggling with similar issues.

Most impressive, raw, ultimately inspirational memoir I've ever read. Rather or not you've had an eating disorder, you can still learn a lot. I know I did. To all those who have been abused and/or struggle with eating disorders - this is a MUST READ. Even if you just suspect someone you know may have issues, Holly's story will help you understand. Thank you, Holly, for sharing so much. Most impressive, raw, ultimately inspirational memoir I've ever read. Rather or not you've had an eating disorder, you can still learn a lot. I know I did. This book is so powerful and really lets you into the author's world. It takes guts to write something so raw, and it takes guts to read it. This was a difficult read sometimes based on the nature of some of the content, and it made my heart just ache for Holly as she struggled to learn to love herself. Eating disorders One women's struggle with both anorexia and bulimia. She was able to overcome both and be happy with herself. She learned to not let food and her body control her. This book seemed to have been edited by a 5-yr. old. I've never read anything with more spelling & grammar errors. The story was interesting & gave hope to those suffering from an eating disorder. This book seemed to have been edited by a 5-yr. old. I've never read anything with more spelling & grammar errors. This isn't a book that warrants a subjective rating based in stars. This young woman is incredibley brave to share her story in hopes of helping others. It was an honor to read.
