This book helped me to … adjust focus. I’m big fan of personal development and I couldn’t imagine it without self-education. While self-education is broad topic, author mastered to pinpoint most important “dots” in the subject. Book is easy to read and well structured. I would and will recommend this book for people willing to gather more knowledge about various topics of their own interest. To become expert in certain field one of the requirements is knowledge. Paul gives his simple yet very effective system to obtain it basically for free. How? Read the whole story in the book! Thank you, Paul, for adjusting my focus of self-education!

The best book on self education I have ever read I have always loved reading and learning. I carry a notebook everywhere and constantly highlight phrases from books I am reading or makes notes on what I have read or anything that interests me. When I saw this book I thought it looks interesting, so why not give it a try? As soon as I started reading this book I lost track of time and place. I forgot I was hungry and had to get something to eat. This is a great book on self education and how we can constantly be learning from a plethora of resources that we have available to us. The books inspires us to read books, upgrade our skills and knowledge as well as use beneficial resources to inspire thinking and learning, connect the dots and learn every second of our life. The recommendations on books, articles, podcasts and blogs to start self education are very useful and definitely a good platform for building your self education pathway. The inclusion of the author's personal story is so meaningful and motivational. A book I would recommend everyone to read and one I will read again and again to enlighten and ignite the fuel of learning in my life.

I first came across Paul Jun through a post on 99U. I heard from Jun again through the "Beyond the To Do List" podcast and related to his past college mentality greatly. I then decided to make the small purchase and read his book mentioned in both medias. It is a short read, but for someone who's just getting into reading again, it was the perfect length. I can see why some people may not like it, as what works for him won't work for everyone, but he states that himself multiple times. Any book I first came across Paul Jun through a post on 99U. Any book that encourages positive habits such as reading, education (or in this case, "self-education"), and a willingness to open one's mind is something positive in my book. It was something I needed to read for what it was and that is what the author hoped for, I think. Well done, Mr. Jun.

Simples e útil Vale a leitura pelas dicas de aprendizado auto dirigido, além de muitas fontes e referências. Mais estratégias do que meditação.
