Game of Thrones It only took me about an hour to read this book, but it covered a lot. I just finished watching Season 3, and that's where the book ends, too. I understand more now. The author could have covered more if the book had been longer, but I think it was just right. (He does use too many exclamation points, though!) Although this had some interesting insights on the making of the HBO show, I was irritated by the misspelling of names such as Jamie, Caitlyn and Shaun (Bean). (Daenerys was also referred to as Khaleesi half of the time) This may be better received by a casual fan of ASOIAF.

The book focuses on the "behind the scenes" of the TV series rather than the book, and it quite an enjoyable read. Though there are some typos as far as character names are concerned, the book is written in a funny, humorous way. Some good behind the scenes information which is current up through season 3. So, don't read this if you're not caught up, but if you are, you'll find it interesting.
