Levar Burton Reads Podcast offering. Not bad, but the discussion at the end made the story ambiguous in a way I didn’t appreciate. Spooky and scary to me, then the discussion took like half the scary away. I rather have the scary. 3, scared me, stars.

“Invisible Bisexuality in Torchwood” https://www.apex-magazine.com/invisib... Very interesting topic and good points brought up, although wording can be a bit strange/outdated (here bisexuality is equated with fluid sexuality; binary understanding of bisexuality when it comes to gender). “Invisible Bisexuality in Torchwood” https://www.apex-magazine.com/invisib... More good stuff from Apex. In these magazines, I tend to prefer the stories with more overt horror elements, but my favorite here was Sunny Moraine's "To Increase His Wondrous Greatnesse More," which is more like a dark fairy tale. So beautifully done. More good stuff from Apex. This issue held nothing really that was interesting. The stories were just alright and the interviews and poetry added just were added fluff. Hope this isn't how Apex appears to be headed.
