As the author of this book, I really enjoyed writing this one and I would really like to thank the people that took the time to read it. I am always grateful to those that read. I hope everyone enjoys Noah and Izzy because they are going to make a cameo in the next book!

Sandcastle Kisses is another sweet romance between marine biologist Izzy, and the mysterious Noah. They meet bartending for the incredibly wealthy and quickly form a bond. But Noah is hiding who he is and when Izzy does find out, it just might crumble the relationship they have been building together. This was another quick read which would make a perfect afternoon getaway. Light, well written and heartwarming. Definitely recommended for romance fans.

I like how this author was able to keep you smiling as you are turning the pages reading this intriguing novel as she is able to create for the reader. There will even some drama that will present some real tension that will give you a non stop read to the end. You will be definitely taken on a ride of romance of this researcher (Isabel) and businessman (Noah). Let me not leave out the flirting that finally lead this couple together in this sweet, sexy romance however, there will be problems that were presented before we get to the happy ever after. I loved the author's description of this island setting in Grove especially taking in the ocean scenes, restaurants and I extremely liked that I was able to learn something about sharks from the read that I did not know. I like the sex scenes that were nicely done.... hot and sandy! The couple Izzy and Noah definitely had so sweet chemistry and here is a quote I liked.... "Stay the night," he whispered. It wasn't a question, but it wasn't a command either. "I was hoping to," I replied, kissing the line of his pectoral muscle. "I'm not done with you yet." He twitched against my leg, already growing hard." The characters were all brought to life being so well developed, rounded, so real and believable. Will this story bring these two together after the secret that Noah has held from Isabel finally came to light or just a reasonable explanation would explain it all? This is where I say you will have to pick up "Sandcastle Kisses" to see how this author brings it out for the readers. For it was indeed a plot twist that in the end will only give the readers one good read. Would I recommend "Sandcastle Kisses?" Yes and Yes!

2.5 stars While this is the 5th instalment in the series, it can easily be read independently from the others. I found the timeline of the book to be way too fast for me to believe in the reality of the characters' feelings for each other. So I never really connected to the either of them, and at the end, I wasn't all that interested in the actual ending. 2.5 stars While this is the 5th instalment in the series, it can easily be read independently from the others. I love Krista and I love this series, this is one series that I always make sure my a** gets the new bookie when it comes out. It seems at first that Noah and Izzy can't catch a break when trying to get to know each other, "I wanted to kiss him again, but as soon as his fingers touched my skin, the phone began to vibrate. Izzy that girl can sure be persuasive when needed, "I thought I'd interest you in something first," I growled, stepping forward and putting my hands on his chest. Noah grinned. Snorkeling can wait." She can also be quite the tease, "I bent over to pick up my swimsuit bottoms and wiggled my a** at him. He let out a quiet sound of pure longing. "I'm just glad you have a job that you can do here," I said, straightening up. His pants seemed like they were about to bust through the zipper. "I'm glad you don't have to leave." At the same time Noah could be a tease as well, "with that he dropped his shorts. I gasped, feeling my body react to the sight of him hard and ready to go. He winked and shook his head in a slow 'no' before walking to his closet and pulling out a suit." I can't wait to see whose up next in this series.

Especially when the heroine acknowledges herself her past track record of always falling in love with tourists in a mere matter of days. And nothing really explains why this time it's so different than the past relationships she had. The way the dilemma regarding the Grove land was solved seemed also highly unrealistic, without any compromise nor any sense businesswise. And even though the hero was a billionaire, company money cannot be used for self-serving purposes. I might well try to read other books from this author.

Fun romantic read, seasoned with billionaires and marine biology facts about sharks and such. I enjoyed it because of the characters. I've read all of the other Kisses books and I've absolutely loved them. They're written in a really interesting sort of family and friends saga way, which is a lot of fun. The side characters from one book become main characters in the next, and so on, so you get a fun sneak peek into the entire story of all of their lives. Sandcastle Kisses is one of my favorites so far, though. Sandcastle Kisses is one of my favorites so far, though. It starts right in the thick of things, and while you might not immediately know what's going on with everything, it's really entertaining. Izzy's been hired to work the bar at a private party, and unexpectedly she learns that she's got a co-bartender in the form of Noah. Everyone at the party knows each other, except for Izzy. Things progress from there in a bit of fun between the guys as they tease her about not knowing who they are (they're billionaires, haha), and then some friendly bets are made. Overall it's just a fun time, with a kind of atmosphere reminiscent of a quiet bar with good friends. After that first night, things get a little complicated, though. Noah's a nice man and starts teasing and flirting with Izzy. He's a tourist, though, so she knows he's going to go away. They can't have anything lasting or "real" in her mind, because anything they have together will only be for a few more days. It doesn't really help that she only bartends to try and make money to help fund a research project... and while they have some huge tension and connection right from the start, they're about to have a bad sort of tension really really soon... I loved Sandcastle Kisses, though! It's got all the great telltale signs of the other Kisses books, with its own little twist, too. I thought this one had a little more tension than some of the others, almost bordering on light romantic suspense in a way. Izzy and Noah's connection is very real seeming and I loved how they came together throughout the story. It didn't seem fast or forced, you know? It was natural and just right. If you love the Kisses books, I think you'll definitely love this one. If you haven't read any of the others, this is a really good one to start with. It's got some cute and fun parts, some with a little spice, and then the serious and suspenseful, too. Overall, it's just a wonderful story and one that I'd highly recommend!

From the opening paragraph I was instantly drawn into this amazing story. It had just the right combination of drama, dream-worthy romance and steamy love scenes. Krista Lakes has done an exceptional job of creating characters you can totally relate to and instantly care about. Isabel is a very likable character who is flirty and outgoing but stands her ground on issues she firmly believes in.....even if it means losing someone she has fallen totally in love with. Noah, oh man, who can't help but fall in love with this blue-eyed sexy man? He is such a great character who even though has more money than he knows what to do with, he is still 'real' and the love he has for Izzy is so dang cute. Both of them together - just plain adorable! This was a truly enjoyable, fun read that has become one of my favorites! Ms. Lakes is a 'new' author for me, but after reading this spectacular story, I am now a fan. I can't wait to read more books from this awesome writer. I would highly recommend Sandcastle Kisses to anyone wanting a light-hearted romance that will bring a smile to your face and that all around warm fuzzy feeling in your heart. *I received a copy of this book via the author in exchange for an honest review. - See more at: The Avid Book Collector

It's not that I didn't like this because I did, but there were a few glaring things that bugged me. For one, this was book 5 in the series, but we've already had stories about all of the major characters. Jack and Emma were book 1, but they had just met in this book. Also, Noah never tells Izzy his last name, and she only learns it after his betrayal. I'm a true romantic, but this was just too much even for me. Finally, there was an epilogue that described their wedding and updated me on the state of her friends' lives, but there was no further mention about Izzy's doctorate, the grove, or her research project which was the cornerstone of the story. There were a few steamy scenes, but they couldn't save the story. It was a quick and easy read, but if you're looking for depth or details, don't spend more than the sales price of 99 cents. The first four books in this series were very good, but I'm sad to say that this was really lacking.

I'm torn between giving this book 2 or 3 stars. It's not really a 3 star book. I skimmed through it, just to find out what all went on. The characters are moderately interesting, and the setting is okay; but it's on the story where it really falls down. How they meet, at the beginning, is the most interesting part of the book. But later on, where he claims he had no idea about her interest in the grove, that just doesn't work. You expect us to buy that? Sorry, but I don't. That she has no idea who he or his famous friends are, is also somewhat unbelievable in this day and age. Plus, the book is a sexfest. If that's all that jars your book jingle, then you're in luck. Me, I want more than that. Some of the sex scenes are a whole chapter long, and there are several in the book. Sorry, but it's just not that good a book, and in the end, I have to give it 2 stars. To give it 3 stars wouldn't be fair to other, better books. The author came up with an interesting setting, interesting characters, but just too bad she didn't do enough with the storyline, and put in fewer sex scenes; like none or one. This could have been a really awesome book.

Izzy never said she was trying to buy the land...but she went into a rant about why tourism (Noah's line of work) would destroy the Grove (her favorite place - she did say that). The fact he says "he didn't know" means he isn't listening to her and how much she wanted to preserve the Grove. It was a small point in the plot, but I just can't get over it or forgive him....
