Before I could react, she began to cry hysterically, “Why did you do it?” I am so glad that the author sent me a copy of this book to read and review, because this was really good! I liked Chloe/Willow, and I thought she acted appropriately when confronted with danger – she ran! This girl was no idiot, she knew that she was no match for a big guy with a sword or two and did the sensible thing and fled. No walking into danger on purpose for this girl! “Fear trickling back into my numb body, I ran in the direction of home, hoping my mother was there so I could warn her.” The storyline in this was really good, and I loved the action! Poor Chloe/Willow seemed to have no shortage of unexpected encounters, and I loved how I didn’t know what was coming next! “It was him! It was the intruder, disguised as a police officer! He had found me.” There was some romance, and I’m guessing that some people might call it insta-love, but to be honest, although Nalin seemed to like Chloe, she didn’t immediately return the feeling, and there wasn’t any huge declarations on her part, and nothing physical at all. “Seeing her again, even for a few fleeting moments, made my heart stop. I was overwhelmed with a feeling although I couldn’t comprehend which one. I had found my twin soul, and we were at the meeting once again.” The ending to this was a bit of a cliff-hanger! I’m glad that the second part of this story is already available and free on smashwords! Yay! 8.5 out of 10

I thoroughly enjoyed this story although I felt there was a lot more to tell even in Part 1. I realize it was a short story but it left me wanting for more since I enjoyed these characters so much. The author definitely has the gift of storytelling and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Madera.

Though this part of the story was short and moved very quickly, it had much of what a Fairytale should have...a sweet, beautiful heroine; a handsome, strong Prince; a dark, dangerous villian. I've been sucked in and am looking forward to more, hopefully developing more slowly. i thought this book was great even though it is short. i was going to give it 4 stars only because it was so short but i felt that was unfair because the story of it all was great!

(Note: I'm reviewing Weeping Willow Part One and Part two in only one review). Chloe doesn't look like normal girls and stranger dreams haunt her sleep. The characters are very likable, both Chloe-Willow and Nalin are solid characters. Despite don't having much space to develop their personalities you can understand their motivations and their choices. The author uses words to create a vivid and colorful world where magical creatures are real. The descriptions are very detailed and it's easy to imagine the scenarios and the people. I totally understand why the author had to write novels after this introduction. The series has a lot of potential and her writing is very good. *** I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. ***

3.5 stars I got the ePub copy from the author! I'm really thankful for that! I enjoyed reading this book. It was a fast and fun read. It could have been a lot better but I didn't expect that much. It was still good though! I think one of my favorite things about Chloe is that she knows when she is in danger. That's a thing I like in a heroine.  If you like fantasy, this is for you. I'm sure of it.  I have to admit that the world building is quite interesting. Short, sweet and to the point. I feel a little lost (like there is something I should have read before this) but I'm sure part 2 will fill I some blanks. Chloe and Nalin are a couple I want to get to know better (Ms Madera does an excellant job of showing you what they are like) and can't wait to see where this goes. On to part 2. Jeanna-Has Probably Read It!

I think this may have gotten a 3.5 it was different then what I normally read. But still interesting. I just felt she could have joined part one and two together instead of making two different books that were only 77 pages.

This story starts pretty fast cosidering it's a short story. Chloe is always teased about her ears at the schools she attends, but they don't stay in one place too long. Will she find answers to her questions when a man she dreamed about shows up in her life? Looking forward to part two. This story starts pretty fast cosidering it's a short story. I downloaded this book onto my Nook for free. It was a really short story, and I had a hard time getting into it, mainly because of all the spelling and punctuation errors.

This book has good action, but seems disjointed at points. I believe it could use some more story development. It does have a good story line though.
