    This is one of my favorite devotionals we’ve read as a family. It begins with the birth of Jesus and ends with His ascension. We used the daily scripture readings, prayers and questions (which were engaging for our kids- ages 8-14). Each day also had corresponding songs and symbols, which the author intended to use in making ornaments for an Easter tree. Because we didn’t use the songs or symbols, I imagine us using this devotional again and adding those elements. The only downside was that the devotions for the week before Easter didn’t coordinate with Holy Week. For instance, the crucifixion was on Monday of that week rather than on Good Friday. If we use it again, we might adjust that week to match Holy Week. I highly recommend this to families, and I would like to see this author produce more devotionals.
