   Congratulations, Mr. Cesar. This is the perfect number of works for parents and children to share. Another reviewer suggested encouraging children to tell a story about each painting; I think this is a tremendous way to teach art appreciation. I was lucky enough to see the first self-portrait in this collection (a few years ago) and was struck by the inner glow that emanated from the painting. These photos capture the luminescence of the originals. Beautiful!

   24 Rembrands Paintings I chose this rating because I love the colors that he used. From the pictures that were chosen for this book I get the impression he was a very religious man. It probably sounds silly, but I haven't read up on him yet. I think I'll do that before I look at the next book, read up on the painter.    Excellent and not just for Children. This wonderful series is excellent for anyone who wants to study the art without commentary. The ability to enlarge allows for examination of details. One small error in a picture title.
