Cannot understand why only one review of 7 five star ratings--friends of author? I have just finished reading #1 and #2 which was offered free and I bought #1 so I could start with the beginning of the series. 1 star off because of editing errors. 1 star off because characters seemed more Disney-like, hard to relate to their bubbly personalities. Same for plot, seemed too contrived in my opinion. Still also seemed for a juvenile or a teen reader.

I loved the style of writing - a good mystery with an interesting under story about what is happening to the US food supply. Enough info for someone like me that loves this topic but well done that if you aren't intersted in this topic it would keep you engaged from the characters point of view. Great summer read.
